Received a catalog in the mail and decided to give them a try I ordered a living room table set that cost $179.00 on December 4,2014, on December 5th I received an email that stated I would have to pay $22.59 as a down payment... okay so I made the down payment immediately after reading the email, it was taken off of my credit card on December 7th and waited a couple of days and checked the status which said the item had not shipped because it was no longer available... LOL. So I waited another couple of days to see if the refund would be added back to my credit card, you guessed it... NOPE. So I call and the lady say's everything is done electronically it should be on your card within 7 day that was December 9,2014 and here it is January 2,2014 and I decided to call to see what was up with my refund. Lol. The lady said with an attitude (even though I didn't have one) "They sent you a refund check out on December 29th... really?... I paid with my credit card why didn't they just put it back on my card. I will never recommend or attempt to shop with this $#*!ty company EVER.
I got the wrong item, the stuff was overpriced junk.
I was 7 days late on a $25 payment and i got a scolding letter threatening my credit, reputation and MY JOB. SERIOUSLY. AWFUL i closed my acct. Paid off HORRIBLE company
When I needed to replace my dishes, I hunted and hunted for a set to match my kitchen. I was so happy when I found the perfect set at Ginnys. I was willing to pay the higher price, because they were exactly what I was looking for and I figured it was time to "upgrade". I wish I had seen this site earlier and saved my money.
First, it took 3 shipments to get my order because they were so poorly packaged that many items arrived broken. The ones that weren't outright broken had manufacturer defects, such as where the plates had been glazed over, even though there were chips and things. The replacement package was packaged even worse! Loose ceramic dishes with almost no packing material to protect them.
Now, having had my dishes for only about 4 months, most of them are chipped, cracked, or have spiderwebbing visible throughout the piece. Comparatively, I had my $16 Wal-Mart pieces for about 6 years and they held up just fine. I only replaced them because out family grew and we needed more pieces.
Will never order from this company again and can't wait till I can replace this cheap crap they sold me.
I got all kinds of magazines from them and their affiliates, (ie. Swiss Colony, Montgomery Wards, etc.) when I finally broke down and decided to buy from them and use the "up to $400 credit" for $25 per month my purchase with the high shipping charge totaled $380. I logged in to check the status of my order and there was a note saying that none of my items had been shipped and I would receive in the mail a letter explaining why. "Are you kidding me?" You couldn't email me a reason? Why do I need to wait on the mail? And there was also a link to "make a down payment" and it asked for $190 down. If I had a $190 down I could have just done a dang layaway! WHY advertise credit and make people hopeful then dash it with a lot of red tape and smoke screens? And if you want to start someone off with a small amount say that from the top and don't make them a $400 offer if you are only going to give them $100 or less to get started. My Husband gets a lot of their magazines with these same offers and he tosses them in the garbage, which is what I will do from now on. Finger-Hut will most likely work with me cause they want my business.

It's ashame that one has to pay to return a broken item like a rocking chair that is suppose to be strong and it's not.
Every Month since I First ordered on Jan 24th 2018 but my statement is due on the 5th despite me requesting every month to be due on the 20th this has never been done and at this rate i will not ever be able to pay this balance off DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Dec 29th 2016 I order a wheel chair bag and pillow. I receive the wheelchair bag right away. But the wheelchair pillow was on back order for three different time 6 months later they call me inform me that it will not be deliver till June 17th 2017. So I try to cancel it. Call CS they gave me a really hard time stating that I could not cancel it; I would to wait till I receive it and return it. I explained that the person that it was ship to was no longer here so I would not have any way to get it or send it back she not there so it was finally cancel. So I called CS the next day to check in see did I owe a balance explained what had taken place this CSR was rude, crude to the fact the love one was no longer here and unprofessional interrupters, she well very much not trained, do not value your customers at all. She hung up on me while I was talking asking to speak to supervisors, I call back ask to speak to supervisors she stated the she was the supervisors I explain to her what had taking place over the course of the today s she act as if she could really careless. I am beyond disappointed because I really been satisfy with all my products I have order from this company

On Friday August 6th a business named "Ginny's" did a "hard inquiry" on my credit without my permission! First off, I don't even know anything about this company.
Anyway, on Sunday August 7th, I received and email with the header, "Welcome to the Ginny's family" although I have absolutely NEVER applied for anything with this company,.
Next I got another email from Ginny's saying my account had a $750 credit limit and all I needed to do was sign in to manage my account (again I NEVER SUBMITTED AN APPLICATION TO OPEN AND ACCOUNT WITH THEM. I obviously did NOT attempt to log into the GINNY'S online portal as it might have attempted to retrieve even more information from me. I could not contact anyone at that company but I did immediately file a dispute and reported this to all 3 major credit reporting bureaus. From all the other bad reviews I'm reading they seem to be engaged in some pretty unethical business practices and from my understanding, it is illegal for a company to pull an individual's credit without permission. Beware of this company. I would've given them -1 stars if possible but I had to select a minimum of one star to post this review. Good luck to anyone who has to deal with these people.

I just made some purchases from ginnys.com, and then I found the same items EVERYWHERE ELSE where they were $100, $50 and $10 cheaper. I then emailed ginnys to get more info and this is their response: Per ginnys customer service email to me:
"If you find the exact same item for a lower price somewhere else, don't buy it there. We'll match it! Just call in your order and tell us where you found it. Already ordered? No worries. You have 14 days to contact us, show us the competitor's price, and get a refund for the difference." THEY SAY THEY WILL MATCH THEIR COMPETITORS PRICE, BUT THIS IS A MISLEADING LIE. I JUST CALLED TO GET MY SO CALLED PRICE MATCH AND WAS TOLD THAT GINNYS DOES NOT HONOR ANY PRICE FROM ANY BOX STORE (AND SHE WENT ON WITH A LIST, WHICH BASICALLY RULES OUT ANYONE ON THE PLANET WHO SELLS THE SAME ITEM)- UNLESS ITS ONE OF THEIR 'AFFILIATES'! I WISH I NEVER ORDERED FROM GINNYS, THEY ARE BAIT AND SWITCH THIEVES! I also left a negative review today on their website, and soon after I received an email stating that they were 'moderating my review' and were not going to publish it. DISHONEST!

So i received there mazgine in the mail and they had where you can choose and pay later. Well i did that but they didnt ship non of my items out because of something on my credit. I feel they should make it clear that your credit has to be a curtian way to buy things from them. The they had it in the magzine was like ANYBODY can choose and buy. Then the other messed up part about it is they dont even send a email letting you know what going. So your sitting there thinking the order shipped then a letter come weeks later saying you was denied. I feel they put CHOOSE AND PAY LATER ONLY APPLY IF YOUR CREDIT IS GOOD OR IF YOU HAVE A HIGH INCOME BASE. DISSAPPOINT wouldnt waste my money on them at all..
