These guys are scammers. They sell you an inexpensive product (mine was eyeglass cleaners) and then use your credit card for a "membership" that charges you 19.99 monthly.
I only noticed it after 6 months. They did agree to refund my money, they seem very anxious to resolve the claims, but only after offering me a bunch of other resolutions.
Gear Elevation has awesome products at great prices. The staff is super efficient and friendly and go out of their way to clarify and/or rectify any situation. It is an absolutely pleasurable shopping experience every time. Thank you for such great service.

I paid 50$ for my phone case 2months ago, about a week ago the LED lights just stopped working.It pisses me off. I put an email in to the company to see what can be done. So fingers crossed! I'll post a follow up review when I have an update

I don't understand what is going on here. I ordered a rechargeable search spot light December 6th 2022. Now on January 8th 2023 I still have not received my order. Tracking does not help I get "we have no new update" I've been treated well by Gear Elevation reps but they don't want to admit that I probably won't get my order being lost for a month.

EDIT (6/27/2024): After I had my 4th phone call with their customer service person yesterday, I have today received a REFUND of the entire amount that was charged to my PayPal account and it is being processed by my bank. I am grateful that this company made this right with me. However, with all the complaints I see out there, everyone needs to be extra vigilant when doing any online ordering, especially with this website. Look over the order page like a hawk and make sure there is nothing hiding. So I take back my statement that this is a SCAM company. I changed my 1 star rating to 3 stars. The product ordered was as described and shipped in a timely fashion, but the aggravation of dealing with the hidden subscription charge and the time it took to get it refunded took off two out of 5. Caveat Emptor.

The checkout includes a hidden signup for a $60 "Rewards" subscription that they charge 1 month later (!)... and then good luck getting your money back. We used PayPal for the initial $8 purchase and they charged the subscription last week to my PayPal. PayPal will not overturn the charge as we "authorized" the payment. I have called these people 4 times and have gotten the "runaround". Based on accents, these are not locals. I have also found that they have created hundreds of "Schill" positive reviews to get their rating up. But READ THEM ALL...you will find tons of complaints of just this SCAM.

They advertise on website shipping in USA. Untrue. After waiting for a week I finally got a tracking number locating package in China. Informed by email shipping takes 30 days. Still waiting to see if I actually receive anything after making a $200 purchase. My fault. I should have done better research.

I have waited 5 weeks for my purchase to arrive. It hasn't yet and customer service gave me a phony Canada Post number to track. It doesn't work. There site said my purchase arrived on June 6, but over two weeks later it seems to have "disappeared". I also needed to go to my credit card company to have an unauthorized charge of $85 reversed for a membership I didn't know about. This company is fraudulent and two calls and two live chats have produced nothing but lies. Buyer beware!

I placed an order on July 2. It is now July 27 and no delivery. After multiple inquiries, I received an email today saying "we're sorry for the delay. Your order is being processed and you will be notified when it ships."
In addition, I have asked numerous times to be removed from ALL emails. Continue to get them daily...often with the lead-in..."For a very satisfied customer." Almost humorous. I do wonder who is minding the store...or in fact, if there is even a real store! Do not waste your time and money. I suspect the product, should I ever receive it, will be of very low quality.

I bought something from them for $20 about 6 weeks ago. It arrived on time. However… be careful of this company. Today they charged my credit card $85 for something I didn't buy, and sent me a text message saying that's it is on its way. My brain is working well enough to know that I did not pay them for anything in the past 4 weeks so that means someone in their company is misusing my credit card number to generate some sales.

Hi. I bought a bricks (Lego-type) flower bouquet from them. It's very good and great value. I don't know how they can make money from this, because something similar was selling for $40 at the local mall and I bought it from them for about $20 including shipping. They even charge you a monthly prescription which you never activate, have hi check your visa because they do start charging without your consent.
I had to cancel my visa and had a new card issued.

Don't purchase anything from this website. Merchandise was junk. Tried to return it and the address is vacant. They automatically sign you up for a membership. I told them I didn't want it, and they charged me anyway. Been fighting with Capital One credit card to get my purchase refunded to me, and they are even giving me a hard time. I think they must be getting lots of complaints about this company.

I bought 2 whiskey shelves which arrived and are nothing like the description utter garbage.
The worst bit is they then took £16.34 out of my account for 9 months when I didn't authorise it! They told me I signed up for rewards which I didn't. I've tried emailing asking for my money back but now they are ignoring me. Awful company never ever use them

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered the Bourbon Barrel Whisky Shelf. It's advertised as being made of whisky barrels. I paid extra to have it arrive by Christmas. It did not. They did refund $20. Almost a month after Christmas, this piece of crap arrived. It's most definitely NOT made from Bourbon Barrels. It's pieces of particle board "painted" to look like wood and it's less than a third of the advertised size. The metal strap that was supposed to be on the front, what arrived was a cut piece of a vinyl belt. I wouldn't buy this if it was in a dollar store much less have paid $99 for it (plus tax and shipping plus extra shipping). I have since found the exact same piece of crap on other websites (using the same pic) for $30. It's not even worth that.
They are selling CRAP! Worthless unattractive crap.
And you cannot return it-it was shipped from China.

If I could give zero stars I would. I waited 5 weeks for the $99 body pillow I ordered. It arrived horribly packaged. When removed from the package there were gaps in the pillow and I was unable to smooth the filling. The item was completely unusable. After multiple emails I finally received the return policy which indicated I was responsible for return shipping which was $60. Gear Elevation offered me a 50% discount to retun the item so my out of pocket cost to return it would be $10 more than keeping it. It is now in the garbage and I basically donated $50 to this company. Furthermore, they seem to filter bad reviews and hide their refund policy when purchase is being made. STEER CLEAR!

My package was in great condition when received considering where it came from and it did take longer than expected but that's understandable during this time of crisis. Upon review of my latest American Express bill I see Gear Elevation charged me $19.99. When I called them they said I signed up for their "Rewards" program when I bought an item from them 2 months ago. After reviewing the previous months statement I see they charged me for this service as well. Their representative said she cancelled my current service but could not credit me the $39.98 they had charged me even though I told them I don't remember signing up for this service and doubt I ever did. If I did it was hidden in some aspect of the original order but since they can't show me where I signed up for it nor would I trust them at this point all I can do is call American Express and have them look into it. In the meantime check your Statements for future charges from this outfit. Never again.

I really love my experience with Gear Elevation. They have an amazing, speedy customer service that answered all of my questions. The checkout process is simple and straightforward, and the shipping was pretty fast compared to other brands. The product arrived in perfect condition and I have used it twice so far.
