Please people stay away from ge cook top I purchased a cook top last 5 month ago with fully warranty, the big burner broken 3 time the Ge technician come to my house 3 time and they still can't fixed after all that they say I cook to much so my warranty not cover my cook top please people understand cook top made for cook what the hell customers service tell me that

I purchased a washer on Feb 3,2021.

I did not purchase the extended warranty -1st mistake!

1 year later I am having issues with it and the main control board keeps going out. After the 1 year warranty. 13 months actually. I contacted GE and because I didn't have the warranty I had to have it looked at by a service person. This cost me 167.00. I was told main control board and that it would be 800.00 to repair it. I paid 699.00 for the washer. I called customer service again, was told they couldn't help me and to call another number and I did and the referred me back to customer service. I asked if I could get a coupon to help with the purchase of a new GE appliance and they said they don't do coupons and couldn't help out on anything. So my 14 month old washer is worthless and I can pay 800.00 to fix it or purchase a new one for the same price.

So I decided to go with a new appliance - different BRAND. I will no longer be purchasing GE products since this is the type of service they provide. Very disappointed. I have spent so much money purchasing their products to be treated like this is just poor service.

Model #: C7CEBAS4RW3 and it was delivered defective. We contacted them so many times and they refuse to honor the warranty or any replacement. Terrible product and awful customer service! We will report them to BBB with official complain.

I purchased an over-the-range microwave oven. It failed after about 10 months. It took almost three weeks for a repair person to look at it. They said the magnetron was out and had to order parts and would repair it when the parts arrived. After another three weeks, I finally got back in touch with the repair person, they said they would come out in two days. Another week passed, and it was still not repaired. They suddenly claim the part is on backorder but should arrive in two weeks. Two weeks pass, and they still have not repaired it. I call in and demand they repair it or replace it. They now say it is out of warranty. After several more calls, resending all the receipts, and threatening them with small claims court, they suddenly have the parts. I said I would pass and opt for a refund. They said they would send a goodwill certificate that was good for a full refund. I get the goodwill certificate, and it requires that I purchase another GE appliance. Great, I really want to go through this again. I purchase the replacement. Return the certificate and documentation. It takes 4 more weeks for them to post on the certificate site that they have received the information. I call after two months because I still have not received the check. They say it will be another 6-8 weeks before I get my check. I have little hope of getting a refund. I don't understand how a company can treat customers like this and stay in business.

I purchased a GE dishwasher 1 year after purchase it started beeping randomly and I had to unplug the unit to reset it. Bought the extended warranty and they have been out twice to fix it. The 1st time didn't have the correct parts. 2nd time replaced parts and now my dish washer doesn't work at all. I have been waiting 1 month for parts an called and was told parts won't be in for 6 more weeks. The dishwasher was at least working until they tried to repair it. It is the circuit boards and wiring harness that are faulty.The dishwasher does not clean dishes like the 25 year old one it replaced. We have to rinse all dishes before washing and if they are really dirty we wash by hand. As for the refrigerator/freezer It has digital light strips and in less than 2 years the freezer has burnt out twice and 1 in the refrigerator has burnt out once. GE (General Extortionists) wants $75 for one light strip($225 for 3 lightbulbs). I would not recommend a GE appliance for the quality of there electronics, time it takes to repair products and the price of repair parts.

Ordered a GE washer and dryer offline. It is taking me over a month to get someone to come out that can install all the parts I ordered (new dryer vent, reinforced hoses, anti-vibration pads). Today would have been the 4th time someone would have attempted to come out to finish the installation. The men they subcontract this work to are always very rude and demeaning. Each time they have tried to give me a reason of why I don't need the extra parts installed. I have to explain every time that I paid for these parts and I want them installed. The first time they came, they didn't even bring the parts with them. The second time, the guy said I didn't need them and tried to steal them. When I tried to call the customer service line because I was having issues with him being rude, he darted out the front door (leaving it open) and left. They couldn't even get him to answer their phone calls to come back and finish the work. The third time, the guy complained that it was too heavy so he couldn't put the anti-vibration pads in. And the fourth time, they just didn't show up.

I have never ever had to deal with a company that is so unprofessional. How do I give them a no star rating? The "manager" from mabe blatantly kept lying to me. 4 times technicians were sent to check on the machine from 2 different companies, who in front of me shared their finding and yet, she wouldn't take any action but state she's received nothing. I would keep emailing and calling GE and she'd call back eventually, never ever listening to a word I'd say, but in reply would say that GE hasn't received any information from the technicians. This was so, so frustrating to hear her lie straight out. Finally just after having the washing machine for 4 months in use, I had to purchase another washer and guess what, it certainly wasn't a GE! I even asked if I could speak to her supervisor to which she said, she is the supervisor. Great! It was hopeless. How does a company like GE get away with this? I work so hard to earn my living but I had to dish out twice for a functioning machine. Oh, I even posted stuff on Facebook to which I'd get the generic message: so sorry to hear that. Please tell us about the serial #, etc. What BS

I ordered a stackable washer and dryer it was delivered to me 3 times damaged. I received the last one 05/08/2021 and less than 3 weeks later after only washing 6 loads the washer no longer works. It stopped in the middle of a spin and I had to dry those clothes for 1 1/2 hours before they would dry. I was so embarrassed because I have out of town guest that was washing their clothes. I will never refer or buy another GE unit, this was my first and last time. I wouldn't have given a start but you had to give at least 1 star to submit. It's not easy getting through to their customer service either. They want you to go on line to schedule a repair. I am pissed... Below it ask for pictures (I'm at work) and proof of purchase (I'm not putting my receipt. I am Michelle Young (Largo, FL) my sister bought it for me and paid $1,663.98 for an apartment size stackable washer and dryer. OVER PRICED and broke in less than 3 weeks. Once I did reach customer service they said a 3rd party would have to reach out to me in 24 hours. So I've had a broker washer for 4 days now.

I have been a loyal GE Products customer for years and possess all my home appliances from GE. I bought GE Electric Convection Range (Model JCB630DJWW) with great excitement. Iam disappointed to report that my Electric Convection Range glass top got thermal crack with a very careful and limited use.Iam extremely disappointed of the worst ever GE customer service. I am losing my trust in the reliability of GE products.

We have GE appliances including Monogram. The GE washer has failed 7 times and in 6 months of use GE has sent repair persons without success: they have replaced the transmission and water pump among other parts. This washer still does not work and once again we are to wait 14 days for a repair person. GE states they will not replace this lemon until it is redeemed "unrepairable." In the meanwhile we are without a washing machine that works. We do not recommend buying GE or any of their washing machines which includes Maytag.
GE is very difficult to reach and are goofy in execution of even dispatching their repair persons to the correct address. Sometimes they dispatch non-GE repairmen without proper equipment to diagnose the washer problem - hence no computer. The last repair totally rendered the washing machine inoperable.
GE is insensitive and just a big conglomerate mess. Glad they are breaking up into three incompetent pieces. Bottom line if the appliance happens to work you are lucky. If you need repair - good luck.
We acquired this faulty GE washing machine through a Lennar home purchase.

I wanted a suite that wasn't white and bought the GE fridge, dishwasher and stove. The dishwasher needed a new part after about a year and wouldn't clean my dishes.The refrigerator I replaced was another model and I had it15 years with NO issues. I just wanted an upgrade for my kitchen. I'm five years in and the rubber around the freezer is coming off, it leaks, the water and ice maker don't work consistently, it freezes up and it has the LOUDEST, MOST ANNOYING BUZZING NOISE! I will NEVER purchase another product by GE! My other refrigerator that I GAVE away was still working after 15 years! No issues at all! Don't buy GE products! You will be as pissed as I am!

I scheduled repairs to my 6 month old GE dryer online. The day of the scheduled service (4 hour) window) the tech called. I did not hear the phone so did not answer the call. The tech cancelled the appt after making one call.

I had to reschedule for the next available appt a week later. I cancelled all plans for that day. I got a call the morning of the appt indicating the appt was cancelled because the tech wanted to leave work early. The caller hung up on me when I asked to speak with the manager.

I called Customer Relations. They told me the same thing the previous caller did that the next available was a week out. They told me if I could find an approved GE vendor they would authorize repairs thru them. He promised to call back to see what I found but never did.

I called Consumer Relations again. This time the woman authorized repairs up to $250 thru an approved vendor. I would have to pay bill and then get reimbursed.

I scheduled repairs through an approved vendor who showed up before 8 am the next morning and made repairs at no cost to me contrary to what GE had told me.

Never again will I buy a GE appliance.

Bought 3 appliances 2 have needed to be repair, customer service was great with the fridge, dryer is another story I have had the repair guy out here three times only to tell me the first time it was a defective dryer. He fixed it month later it dies on me with the same department so I rescheduled the appointment. They keep on pushing the appointment date back, they have done it three times because the part is on back order, been very patient with this. Today was the last straw I had my appointment time change four times today because they couldn't locate the part, only to reschedule it again a week out. I've been without a dryer for three month and have had to take my clothes to the laundromat in the middle of a Covid pandemic. You think your buying a quality product, but when 2 out of the three appliances break down you kind of realize the product and company is not good Anymore which is sad. When talking to customer service I asked to speak with a manager only to be told the manager couldn't help me I need to call back and speak to dispatch tomorrow. So sad a great company has gone down hill so far

I bought a brand new GE 27.8 Frenchdoor refrig that can't keep up on ice. I had a GE before and this new one had the same specs for ice making but I am ALWAYS OUT OF ICE. I called GE, they came out four times, cancelled two times and finally said tough crap. Bought it through Costco and they're concierge service couldn't do anything to help. GE is now owned by a Chinese company, wonder if that's why thier products and service are crap? DO NOT BUY GE PRODUCTS! I have learned my lesson.

We purchased a GE 24in Tall Tub stainless steel dishwasher from Home Depot and was not at all satisficed with the quality. After we had it installed, it leaked into our basement causing several hundred dollars of damage. I reached out to Home Depot to return it but they said it had been over 48 hrs and we would have to have it (a new dishwasher) serviced by GE. All we wanted was a refund but neither Home Depot (who referred us to GE) nor GE (who referred us to Home Depot) would not refund our money. GE did repair the pump on the new dishwasher, but we will never purchase another GE product EVER!

Never again!

GE Dishwasher did not work from the beginning and GE tortured me by having the tech come out DOZENS OF TIMES to replace and re-replace the same parts over and over again. We bought the extended warranty through Assurant and they did the same until I couldn't take it anymore and bought a Bosch which works wonderfully! All in all over a two year period I had the GE tech in my house dozens of times, I was without a working dishwasher for weeks, nightmare!
