I sold my second iPhone through Gazelle and the process was easy and seamless. I wasn't sure how to rate this one, used looking or like new. I took a chance and rated it like new... because it really was. They accepted it and paid me promptly. Very happy.
My iPhone 6s recently died, but was insured. I received a brand new iPhone 7s, but decided to sell it to Gazelle, since I plan on purchasing the iPhone X when it comes out.
I mailed my new iPhone 7s in its original box to Gazelle. After a few weeks, they emailed me offering me less money because they claimed it was not "flawless" as described. I asked them to send it back to me. When I received it, it was flawless; but, Gazelle failed to send back the charging cord, power adapter, headphones and headphone adapter. I priced these items new at the Apple Store-$82.
I called and spoke with Gizelle and Darlene at Gazelle and was told they would not send them back to me or reimburse me for the items. So, I am basically out $82 worth of accessories. I'm guessing some Gazelle employee is not sporting a brand new set of headphones...
I have used gazelle twice now and my fiancé used them also, we had a great experience. It was super easy an got our money for our phone quickly!
From the first moment I decided to try Gazelle it was so easy. They offered a good price on my Samsung S6. I basically entered the information and waited for the postage paid box. From the post office to receiving my check was about a week. Thank you Gazelle!
It couldn't have been simpler to sell my phone to Gazelle. They honored the price they quoted me and were super fast. I will always use Gazelle to sell my Apple devices!
I've sold several 'flawless' iPhones to Gazelle over the past 3 or 4 years. I just recently sent them an iPhone 6s Plus in mint condition (looks like it just came out of the box), and they emailed me back saying that it showed signs of wear and had scratches and adjusted my offer to $20 less than what it had been. I declined and they sent my phone back. Once it arrived, I literally used a magnifying glass looking for any blemishes. There were none to be found. Gazelle deploys this tactic on many of their customers, hoping that they'll go ahead and accept a lowball offer, instead of dealing with the hassle of a return. Please be careful when dealing with this company. They already give you a ridiculously low price when selling to them, the only positive is the ease of selling. Do yourself a favor and double your earnings and just sell it on eBay or Craigslist. Stay away from Gazelle.
If you're looking for a reliable, quick, and easy way to sell your old phone, Gazelle is definitely the way to go.
I love the fast and simple process of selling my electronics. I will definitely use this service again!
We sold two iPhones and an iMac to Gazelle. Very easy, very quick, and a good price. Highly recommended to spare yourself the hassle of trying to sell your phone or computer some other way.
Gazelle is an incredible service. It is a very competent company. When I was placing the order to sell my iphone, during the process I had to hit the back button and then proceeded. Their site ended up showing me selling 2 phones so I successfully (I thought) cancelled that order then started a new one. Things got screwed up somehow and they sent boxes for both the cancelled order and my new order. No worries, I just sent my 1 phone to them (in the wrong box) and they took care of it completely and I got my refund. Good job, Gazelle.
Gazelle couldn't make this process more easier. I recommend it for anyone trading in a cellphone or device.
I ordered a Galaxy s7 and when I tried to activate it I found out it was on the non pay list and could not be activated. I returned it and got another same thing. I was dumb enough to try a third and same thing could not be activated because it was on the non pay list. I wasted a countless number of hours on the phone with both Verizon and gazelle and still no working phone. So unless your looking to sell a phone that you didn't pay for you would stay away from this website.
I had used Gazelle in the past. I had the packing slip ready for the trade-in and my wife shuts down her phone. I asked "Did you turn off Find My Phone? Yes, was the reply."
Not three days later I get a rude email from Gazelle that I had to turn off "Find My Phone" or else I would not get the refund! I was in the middle of a meeting when I got the message and had to scramble to figure out how to "turn off Find My Phone." Thankfully, I had used my iPhone many times and knew what to do.
Regardless, it was rude of Gazelle to be rude and threaten no payment. I waited for confirmation of the turning off "Find My Phone" was successful and it never came.
Sent in a 5 and 5s 16gb and 32gb iphone, the 32gb was working fine, they say I sent them two 5's 16gb that were broken. I sent mail to reply to their requote, no reply. Sent them emails (3), no reply yet (over a week has past). Called twice, first guy said that they touch many phones and easy to mix up with other phones. I called again with my 32gb IMEI number and still no requote for working phone and no response. BUYER BEWARE! This site/company is border line a SCAM!
I've used Gazelle twice and it's really easy to sell. The price they gave is fair and they even higher it after having a look at the product if it's in better shape than stated. I don't like to throw away and e-waste in my area is not made easy. So this is the perfect option for me.
Ive used Gazelle a few times before and once again they didnt disappoint! Once I shipped off my device I received notifications when it arrived, when they checked everything out, results of the check and that my payment was on its way. I received my check earlier than expected which is always nice to see! Ill continue to use Gazelle in the future as long as theyll keep purchasing my old tech!
It took only a 8 days to receive the free shipping box, send the computer and receive the money. I sold my 4 year old computer for a reasonable amount of money -- likely more than I could have gotton by selling it on Facebook or Craigs list.
Received reasonable offer for old phones after switching mobile service. Pre-paid mailing label made shipping super easy. I followed directions, so no hassle during Gazelle's receiving assessment. And received payment at the speed of USPS (since I chose check as payment method). I have used Gazelle twice and would definitely recommend.
Gazelle is a great service. So easy to use and access. It is a pleasure working with them to sell old junk that otherwise would have been thrown away.
Gazelle is quick and easy, with very fair prices! They make an offer to you and they do not look for ways to get out of their offer, they make an offer and hold to it. Turn-around time was very fast, and the check arrived just as quickly! Thank you!
Answer: No experience with that. Experience with their staff and their customer service, don't fo business with them. My phone was returned in October, and I still have not received my refund. They finally sent me an email saying my return was received, in December but tracking showed it received in October, and still no refund.
Answer: I would not buy from or sell to Gazelle regardless of what they claim.
Answer: No! Dishonest! Had to file a dispute with my credit card company tinged my money back and that took 3 months
