I love GameStop because they have a wide range of games to select from. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I like the service of this company so far.
When I acquired a PS4, I asked a couple questions to the gamestop employee's. They responded nicely and gave me great feedback, explained thoroughly about it and more. I would rate the service and prices perfect and moderate. $349 for a PS4 Special Edition with the Last of Us Remastered Edition, and the last of us remastered edition is about 100 bucks!

I ordered a Xbox with game pass bundle. I was told it would ship in 2-4 days from ordering. I waited 4 business days Thursday -Tuesday. They didn't ship it yet, however was told it would arrive on Thursday Feb 2 which is 8 days after ordering. Turns out it was shipped 8 days after ordering. When I called them, I had to wait over an hour just to speak with someone who can't speak English very well. The lady never really addressed my questions. I asked to cancel my order, but order still shows as in progress after talking to her. I still don't know if my Xbox is still coming or if it actually got canceled. Then FedEx finally shows the Xbox moving as of today 2-2-23 in the late afternoon and it's delayed in Arlington Texas due to weather. I guess now all I can do is see if it shows up or not, and if they actually canceled my order and returned my money. When checking out GameStop order confirmation says my total was $529.99. When I got my statement from Citizens bank it shows $890.15 because apparently GameStop fails to list that extra $360.16 that you end up paying for ultimate game pass. Now that I understand, I'm okay with it. It would be nice to see that total in your order confirmation so your not shocked when you get your statement.
I ordered a PS5 digital refurbished online at GameStop.com. Paid for shipping etc. toToday I received my order from Fed-Ex when I picked up the box I heard what sounded like loose pieces inside. Opened it to find that whoever shipped this basically threw a ps5 console, controller and cables in an oversized brown box with no regard for packaging whatsoever. The side panel was busted off, it was dented and scratched to no end as we all know shipping company's don't handle packages like it's their own. Called GameStop customer service asked them like what is this? Make it right! This was a Christmas gift for my son. She said policy says they can't send a replacement till they receive this console and a replacement won't be here in time. Told them just refund my dang money. Received the return label with the refund only to find my shipping won't be refunded. Even after they failed to do what they were paid to do slide shipping they won't even refund that. Worst customer service and will never do business with again. Take your business elsewhere this company doesn't care or have any type of empathy or accountability for their mistakes at the cost of customers money!
The website is semi-usable. Way too many graphics opening up obscuring the meat of the site. I get it, you want to make money... you would be making a sale if you would shut those ads off...
Our Game Stop is a small little store. They are very courteous and even take the time to check their inventory if you want to know if they have a certain game. Very nice of them as most people say "IF ITS NOT ON THE SHELF WE PROBABLY DON'T HAVE IT" - they even tell you they can get it or send you to another store that does have the game.
I was on the phone with customer service for about 2 hours after I had been advised the wait time was 30 minutes. I then receive a cancellation notice for my order a few minutes after. It said that if I had any questions to email *******@gamestop.com and they will get back to you in 24 hours. I emailed them an email stating "My name is Janie Hernandez. I received a notice stating."The order #************** that you placed with GameStop.com or EBgames.com has been cancelled" but I never had an order with that order number. I've had an order number for a few weeks ago that arrived and one last week. Their order numbers were ************** and **************. I do not remember making a third order and have no confirmation that an order by the number of #************** was sent to my email. I already received my package with this information. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me." on November 10,2015. It is now November 19th, 2015 and my email has yet to be answered. This is very very poor service. I will NOT be recommending purchasing from gamestop to ANYONE.
GameStop sucks, I used to be a pro member but I didn't renew my membership and why is that? Well I didn't need it to have the membership it costs $15 which ain't bad and plus u get $5 a month but it doesn't stack it just stays there if u don't use it all u will ever have is $5 which is dumb and also the points I earned from buying things which again I earned and now that my membership was finished which was a month ago I can't use my well earned points unless I keep my membership, get the hell out of here those are my damn points I should be able to use them to redeem discounts on games and now I can't I'm not in GameStop on a daily bases or buying and buying I have bills and things to do but when a game comes out that I'm interested in I can't use my earned points $#*! off gamestop!
I ordered an Xbox One 1tb... it obviously had not been gone through because it was barely operational! I mailed it back almost four weeks ago and I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY REFUND! Are they scamming people?#**************
I ordered 2 games and they sent it to the wrong address in the wrong state. Customer service blamed me and when I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told they had the authority and I could not speak to a supervisor and hung up on me. Once I got a hold of the supervisor I was advised they would escalate my request but it would take 7-10 days and advised me I was not allowed to speak to the department that was handling my request. They could not explain how this mistake happened and advised me I was likely out my money and my games would not be replaced. I have never been treated so rudely or had these kinds of issues before and I am appalled that I can't get a real answer other than "WE ARE SORRY AND WE WOULD LIKE TO HELP BUT".
Hey if anyone has the game you're seeking... it's Game Stop! But WoW... it's a used game guys! Their buy back program is nothing short of robbery tho.
This is my favorite store on the planet! They always have what I'm looking for and if they by slim chance don't, they have no problem getting it for me. I always walk of very happy
I ordered a quest 3 as a gift from GameStop bc they advertised 1-3 days delivery. As of right now and past this time frame - the shipper still has no received the system from GameStop. The customer service is like non existent. I should have ordered from Amazon. GameStop cannot continue to be allowed to operate this way. They can say shipping is not in their control but if they a promising lead times that THEY themselves are no delivering on bc they do not have the item in stock or aren't staffed appropriately to get these orders out to the shippers - that is on them. And this seems to be happening to most people that ordered from them this holiday season just based on reviews. You guys - DO NOT ORDER FROM GAMESTOP - SHIPPING TAKES WAY LONGER THAN THEY ADVERTISE ON THEIR WEBSITE. Just buy it from Amazon or Best Buy.
If I'm looking for a game for my daughter and see it at another GameStop store they will call around for me and have it delivered to my store. Used games are very good deals, never had any issues
When I went there the Employees were very nice and the prices were good and most of the things were in great condition, the only thing I do not like is their lack of specific things such as CTR and certain amiibos.
Stopped at a big box retail first and they where out of what i wanted, should have just gone to game stop first, they had what i was looking for and could suggest the added accessories i needed.
Shop here for my son he's the Ultimate Gamer I can always find what I need the staff is very helpful great trade-in policies and stuff it's definitely my son's number one so I definitely go there for presents and whatever
You will loose money coming to this store. They usually are update and in stock of the various games. However if you ever try to trade in a game you will only get pennies on the dollar.
Gamestop you say? Pass, I'm tired of rolling the dice with these guys, literally half of the pre-owned games I've bought through online orders have come defective - 3 PS4 games all looked alright if you glance at the disc itself but the problem is they don't do thorough testing beyond putting it in and seeing if something comes up.
Most recent case - Uncharted 4. Although you get to the startup screen after an abnormally long load, once you try to start a new game, after a minute or so passes of grinding CD read attempt noise, good 'ol "cannot read disc" error comes up. Similar to the last purchase months ago.
You know what, wouldn't be so bad if they didn't have an antiquated return process - why no free returns via mail on defective product? This time is especially aggravating as I have a leg injury so now SOL.
As it stands now, this company is a travesty of customer service and experience and has extremely poor product testing. Oh, and bundle deals are for the good of the people or some BS.
