Terrible service

I ordered 2 digital down loads for my grandson and never got them. Called a number stayed on hold for 45 minutes said i had to wait 24 hours for my order. I called 3 more times that day to be put on hold again. Now these a digital downloads nothing that has to be sent in the mail. I ended up canceling my order. NEVER AGAIN WILL I DEAL WITH GAME STOP. They get Zero stares from me.The sad thing is they make you put at least one star.

I am a pro member, and I have been for years. I only do it for the magazines, and I haven't gotten them in 4 years now, so I'm done. I pay extra forthe paper copy and have recieved 3 in the past 3 years and 2 digital ones...kinda messed up. No matter who you call or tallk to, nobdy seems to know how to correct it. If i am given the $5 every month, why not the magazine that would attract me to buy new games due to the reviews and such. Game stop, you used to be a king, now you're just a pauper.

I preordered Diablo 4. GameStops tracking service was down so I wasn't able to see when it was shipped or anything. It finally lets us see where the game is 2 days after it was delivered. By this point the game had been stolen out of my mailbox. When I call to get a replacement it takes them weeks to even apply for a replacement. Then they tell me I'm not eligible for a replacement or refund because it was stolen. Maybe if your tracking system actually worked like it's supposed to. My game wouldn't have had a chance to be stolen in the first place. Don't get anything from this place. They're not worried about their customers. They're worried about saving a few dollars.

There is no point in pre-ordering items online if you 1. Do not get it on Game day and 2. HAVE TO PICK UP THE BONUS IN PERSON! (There is no pre-order bonus saved for you at any random Gamestop Cause why would there be?)

Like their store but the quality could be better and also when you trade games in or sell back they dont give you very much even if its brand new you may come out with 2.00 credit for a 50.00 game

(1) I did 5 stars so people can see real life and not be swept under the rug

(2)My Wife ordered 2 Nintendo switch and wee was out over $400 plus Faster shipping
8 or 9 days say 6 with out calling Saturday and Sunday work days

(3)I know it was last minute but wee just got the money to get are kids them

(4)I hope it comes in soon are kids really really wanted them

DO NOT BUY FROM GAMESTOP ONLINE!

I ordered a Mario edition switch and accessories from GameStop with $20 "expedited shipping" whatever that fake is, they didn't ship it before my other items because it was the closest item to me... the stupidest I've ever heard. So my item sold out, after I already paid for it, now I can't get the switch and since I received the accessories they can't refund me and have to file a 15 day investigation to see if I'm telling the truth. I've asked to speak to a manager 3 days in a row and there is never one to be found and have been hung up on multiple time. I can never get their name because they talk faster then an auctioneer Your customer support is a sad excuse of tongue twisted individuals who can't read or remember their script... how did they even get the job? The person who hired them is probably worse. DONT BOTHER BUYING ANYTHING ONLINE if you do and they mess up as GameStop does good luck to you

OK Do not ever order online from GameStop! I ordered something on Saturday and paid extra for one day shipping. The website says 1 business day and 1 business day for processing so I figure it will get to where it is going based on that by Wednesday at the latest. Well I decided to check on it last night and lo and behold the order is still in the open state, not even in processing. Check banking records, no charge yet... Hmmm. So I start looking around for a Customer Service number. Nothing, Nada, Zip. Ok gaming site, higher tech stuff... must have online chat, right? Nope, Nope, Nope... You submit a form and then wait for them to get back to you by email... 48 hours they say... We will see... On a whim I called the local store and they were able to give me a customer service phone number although he was not able to confirm if they could handle. Com order. Called it and and they have a option for online orders! Yay! On hold now to try to talk to a person... 35 minutes and counting. GameStop must be getting by from their retail stores. Based on the customer service I have gotten in the stores I would give the company 5 plus stars, but the website is garbage. Also, when you go into your order history it says you can view and change existing orders (I assume open orders) but their is NO clear way to perform this action... Shopper HOSTILE!

Refurbished Xbox

Do not bother buying a refurbished Xbox from Gamestop.com. I did and it broke down inside of six months... I hate to admit being a gluten for punishment but it has happened twice.

Online is a scam!

They keep lying.
They've had multiple times where they advertise something and don't provide it, or don't provide it at the price advertised.
The two most recent were:
1 - Buy $25 worth of pokemon cards and get an oversized card and binder. I called for weeks before they tried to resolve it and then they told lies. It started after I made the purchase (I purchased from the ad that said it had started) and "while supplies last" which it clearly didn't say.

2- you can try making excuses for that one, but the "rebel clash pokemon box for 24.99" with a picture of the yellow box and then they only offered sword and shield blue and red boxes. Yeah, they labeled and pictured one item then offered something else entirely. Bait and switch fraud. I even sent them the ad so they could see for themselves.

3- then they give me points and won't let them redeem them. I worked on this for weeks and still can't use them. "create a new account" and so many other things and I still can't use my credit.

They don't help. It's always the run around. Avoid at all costs!

Spent thousands of dollars at gamestop between me my son and daughter I was never a pro member was talking to guy about special that was going on with headset he told me he was out of stock asked him if I could have rain check with attitude he told me they don't offer rain checks simply said this is why I really stop shopping at gamestop that I spent lot of money and it like My business doesn't matter guy had nerve to tell me haven't been pro member sense 2017 they won't have my business no more

Best game store

Purchased a game for my Grandson tried to track order system says no such order even though I had the order number from the email and two authorization pending on my credit card Reached out to customer service and they just completely ignored my emails all I wanted was straight answers so I've started an dispute with my credit card and reorder from a reliable company Amazon

Terrible Experience

Product not available in any store so I ordered online. Was told I could return it in store, but store refused to refund me.
