So many complaints. 1st order never delivered. Got on their back and 2nd "order" never delivered either. I purchased a groupon and wanted florist.com to refund the $15 I paid for groupon as well as what I paid florist.com on credit card. I shouldn't be held responsible for having to go through 2 companies because they, florist.com, are irresponsible and poorly managed. Groupon did their job of helping to advertise, florist.com lost my business by being horrible at what they do. After over 2 weeks of flowers not being delivered and over 5 phone calls to florist.com to constantly check on everything, they still won't provide me $15 I spent on Groupon. So never again will I or any of my family or friends ever be using this company.
If you are looking for same day delivery do not use florist.com. I was extremely disappointed to learn at the end of the day that my order would not be delivered even though I was promised same day delivery.
I ordered a fruit bouquet for a friend that I had not seen in over 3 years. I reconnected with her this past weekend and to show how grateful I was at her hosting a wonderful dinner I decided to have something delivered to her! Florist.com got my order completely wrong! The first time it was for a pregnant girl and my friend was completely embarrassed at work! The 2nd time she received a happy birthday arrangement when it was supposed to be a "THANK YOU" arrangement! So upset and embarrassed! Never again will I used them!
How incredibly irresponsible! I took all this time to select sympathy flowers and paid. They were to be delivered on the same day--a Thursday. Now today, on Monday, I find out they were never sent. They simply "canceled" my order because the florist didn't have the flowers! Unbelievable.
Ordered on 2 Aug 21 to be delivered on 9 Aug 21. Email received saying scheduled for delivery between 8-6pm. Reached out to FTD to let them know she would not be there after 4pm. They refused to provide me the information to let the florist know and said they told the florist. The flowers were not delivered in time and she did not get them before leaving work! I could've picked up my own flowers and drove to work to give them to her myself! Do not use them!
My boyfriend ordered flowers from here and they were never received. He received very vague emails saying flowers couldn't be delivered etc. his debit card was charged. We had the same experience as the other posters. You call and they tell you they are just the answering service and you never get a call back.
My husband ordered me flowers from this place for Valentines. I thought they looked nice enough (Until I saw what they were suppose to look like!) I text my loving husband a picture of my flowers to say thank you. That night when he got home he showed me what I was suppose to get, he wasn't happy to say the least. He called FTD to get them to redeliver the flowers the next day. The man on the other line whose English was very broken, agreed to redeliver and pick up the old ones. That next day came and went. No flowers showed up. We called FTD back again that night and demanded a refund. After 30+ minutes of hold time, and 3 different hard to understand customer service people, we finally were issued a refund. Not before we were told a coupon for next time is all they could do. You really think there will be a next time!? Hahaha
Ordered flowers to be delivered on Valentines day. They weren't delivered until the day afterwards, so useless now... I called, and after waiting on hold for 1 hour 13 minutes I finally got someone on the phone and tried to return them. They flat out refused to accept a return even though they weren't able to deliver on the holiday they were ordered for. (I also ordered these ~a month in advance. I think that's plenty of notice...)
VERY DISAPPOINTED! I stressed out how important an order was and my recipient received CARNATIONS! Are you kidding me!? I paid almost 50$ for roses and daisies and I got a bouquet you can get from a local grocery store for 10$?! Don't use this place! Oh and don't even get me started on the customer service! Wait on hold for an hour/ hour and half and then the phone disconnects, and they don't respond to emails. Never had such a terrible experience.
Delivered flowers same day, ordered at 11 am and the deadline was 2pm. Flowers havent shown up and i cant get a hold of anyone to find out the status of my order. Very disappointing, as these flowers are being delivered to someone due to a death in the family.
I tried to send sympathy for a friend who just lost his mother. This company doesn't give the local florist the sender's phone number. The we didn't notify the recipient because 1) it was supposed to be a surprise. 2) he was dealing with a recent death. We provided a phone number for the recipient so they could call; the florist didn't. They don't make sure the florist redelivers first thing in the morning. Now we have flowers that are supposedly sitting in a delivery van all day and not even a priority. Their customer service says NY and they are out of the country. They are a bunch of script readers and can't offer any help other than what their script says. During a time of grief and the amount of money spent, this is unacceptable!
I placed an order which he site said would be delivered the same day 9/30/15. When the business day was ending 10/1/15 I messaged florist to check the status. Instead of calling me, they began calling the recipient who wasn't expecting a delivery over and over again asking for her home address. I provided her work address. 10/2/15 they delivered to the address I asked them to in the first place. I email them to complain and nothing! Never order from them they're horrible!
I made arrangements to have flowers delivered to my Aunt's funeral but learned after the funeral that they didn't fill the order. I would have made other arrangements if I knew they weren't delivering. Offered me a refund and thought I would be satisfied. The worst.
Worst phone connections ever. Unable to talk to or understand anything their customer service people were saying. Constant breaking up of conversations. Non stop echo, everything you say is repeated back to you. Sounds like calling a radio station with your radio on. I called 3 times and I still don't know if my order was changed. DO NOT USE FTD, THEY'RE HORRIBLE!
I recently ordered a fruit bouquet online from florists.com for my mom for Mother's Day with a requested delivery date of 5/13. As i entered my order, i kept looking for a place to include a card. No card. I quickly received my confirmation which did allow me to add a card, but showed a delivery date of 5/11. When i contacted their customer 10 minutes after placing the order requesting delivery date be changed to 5/13, I was told they could not change the date because it was too close to Mother's Day. Nothing like having your gift delivered 3 days early. There service was completely unaccomodating and I feel I was mis-led and taken advantage of once the order was placed. I would not recommend this company or their affiliates including 800flowers.com. Buyer beware.
On Tuesday, I ordered flowers to be sent on Thursday for a birthday. Got a phone call on Thursday morning at 10:00 am stating the "Happy Birthday" vase for the the arrangement wasn't available. I asked them to just substitute a plain glass vase, but I needed the arrangement sent that day. As I stated, it was for a birthday. Was told they couldn't make the substitution till the next day. I insulted they find another florist from their vast resources of florist. Was everyone had "denied" the order. I find that very hard to believe. I emailed customer service, and was offered a $ 25.00 coupon for my next order. The $ 25.00 was inconsequential compared to my $ 150.00 order, which cost me more to reorder from another florist to get delivered that day. Their call center rep, who I believe was from some country on the other side of the world, was completely uncooperative, and just kept saying they couldn't help me. They tried buying me off with $ 25.00. NOT going to happen. Shame on FTD!
I had scheduled a delivery for Friday only for the flowers to be delivered on Tuesday. I contacted florists.com and they responded quickly to my email; however, I paid a hefty price for these flowers and the flowers should have been delivered on time.
I wanted an Edible Fruit delivered to a hospital for a 19 year old heart surgery patient. I ordered on line (shine bright) very nice picture with sprinkles on the fruit and mixed fruit, partially chocolate covered. The fruit was partially covered but no sprinkles at all. I ordered this on 8/19/16, order stated same day delivery, NOT. They emailed me saying there was no one at the hospital with MY NAME ( I am not the patient) they said they tried to call me but no missed calls. On Monday no fruit was delivered as of 9am, I was calling but their number says closed 24-7 so email is the only communication. If you can handle poor communication and not what you ordered then this is your place.
I ordered a very nice looking flower basket of colorful flowers and greenery called the garden basket for a funeral.
After ordering online I called the 800 number to verify the order to ensure it was received and that the correct arrangement was listed. After receiving the 100% guarantee over the phone I awaited the delivery. What was delivered was no where close to what I ordered. All of the flowers were changed, all of the greenery was changed and the nice white basket was replaced with an ugly burnt orange ceramic bowl. When we called to tell them they delivered the wrong arrangement they stated that it was simply a case a replacing the flowers, greenery and planter most likely due to the "local" florist not having the products needed to produce what I ordered. What FTD is saying is you might as well call them and tell them to pick something out, anything, and deliver it. And oh by the way can I pay a premium price for the dollar store material you sent?
Flowers were never delivered to funeral location. Upon calling ftd, they couldn't tell me anything. They couldn't even tell me what business was supposed to deliver the flowers. The representative said they would do an investigation but he also said FDD would never get back with me to find out the results of the investigation.
They protect the incompetent vendor that they contracted with via their "privacy policy" but screw the customer.
They owe me more than just a refund.
