Freewallet - robbers! I exchanged ether for bitcoins and there was a technical error. My money disappeared and now Freewallet just ignores my pleas for help. How can they be so indifferent to their users? I fell for their promises of convenience and practicality. What practicality is there... How do I get my money back?

Warning! Freewallet has frozen my XLM and SOL, Support reacts without helpful answers. My SOL are lost their, Answer from Freewallet:

"Dear Erik, please pay attention to the in-app notifications. At the moment, all services on XLM and SOL wallet are temporarily unavailable. As soon as there is news, you'll be contacted via email."

Update - Regarding the answer: You are offering both wallets and are not showing on the wallet page that it is deactivated. I can't read 100+ news every time I am charging my wallet when I want to coins to Freewallet, you are advertising with an easy multi-currency-wallet. And now you are just taking my money, saying it is deactivated (while the adresses exist and the money is still on those adresses!) so I can't do anything?
No transparency, no way to get the money back apparently. Be warned.

They are 100% scammers, instead of releasing the coins they just lie that you have to be authenticated, did we authenticate them? They constantly seek to attract new victims by posting deceptive texts and photos on social networks, and unfortunately, no one reports them on social networks so that their trap is dismantled...

This is an awesome application that works much faster than any other wallets of that kind. Got no problems here and see nothing but pluses. Recommend.

The wallet hasn't let me down so far. In the first weeks of using the wallet, I was restrained in my judgments, but the longer I used the wallet, the more confidence I got in it. Freewallet is safe because it has advanced coin protection measures. Like 2FA and biometrics. The result is a very convenient and practical solution, the advantages of which outweigh those of its counterparts.

Been using this wallet for years for mining. Only had one problem where they randomly changed my eth deposit address without warning or notification. Took a little back and forth, but they were able to recover the missing coins after I provided the block chain proof of the funds being transferred to the wallet.

I recently purchased a hardware wallet and tried to move my coins over to it. But, they froze my account and demanded some very invasive documents to prove my identity. Against my better judgment I provided the requested documents. Since then, I keep getting the response that it's being worked on, and to just wait. They can not tell me how long it's going to take or where I am in line. They can't even tell me how long it takes on average other than "it can take a couple days to several weeks!" Unacceptable. There are plenty of stories on the internet where it's taken months to get their rightfully owned coins back.

Not your keys, not your coins! Remember that and learn from my mistake.

Also very interesting that their app is removed from the Google play store... again...

A good wallet, for the most part, fast, forward-looking and commendable. Nevertheless, it seems to me that it is missing something. I can't fully articulate what, but it really annoys me

I tried to send bitcoin and the lowest fee they would allow was freaking $60 fee to send $10 worth of BTC. "Free wallet" more like steal all your money wallet. Deceitful and fraudsters.

Using Freewallet was the worst decision I ever made. They locked my account and held my funds hostage, refusing to provide any explanation. Don't fall for their scam.

I fear more and more that freewallet.org is a scamming organization and it will be a hard way getting my money back out of it.

While trying now transactions for a half of a year, they're simply not accepting/doing it. Don't understand me wrong, I provided selfies (in high-resolution, as requested!), bank-account data end-to-end, my very first money transaction to them in 2016, confirmed by bank etc. But the answer is given like "in review", "send to the technical department" or "send to our security department". Where are these departments? In North Korea? Is this serious? Do you think you are a company, people should deal with? If your answer is yes, think about it and get the feedback right which you are earning in various forums telling how bad you are in fact. I cannot believe in the reviews taken in here with a positive ranking. Did you guys tried ever to move your money OUT freewallet or just spending your hard earnings IN this? Give it a try...(good luck).

Full transparency on my side. Zero on freewallet.org. Don't trust/use them. Go to a serious other with good reputation and look into various forums with customers experience dealing with wallets/coins. It is a bad company but I'm not giving up and seek for resolution. In case freewallet-folks are reading this: don't reply to this negative feedback but resolve simply Freewallet Support Ticket ID *******. Should be easy. Otherwise, another talk in another forum/media.

After wasting a lot of my both time and money with other wallets, I've learnt only one thing. There's no better wallet than this one. So now I store all my crypto with Freewallet.

Can call it a very nice wallet as it is safe enough and very comfortable in use. I've never had a single issue with it but only positive emotions. Freewallet turned to be a really nice app.

What an awesome wallet! I've never seen such a comfortable application for storing more than one currency. Now I recommend this app to my familiar traders: most of them enjoy using it too.

About 900 usd is blocked on my account.

Technical support does not respond in the chat, nor does it respond to letters from my email.
Tech support only responded to the support.freewallet.org form.
I are required to pass the KYC procedure.

I had to get an international ID. This document was quickly reviewed.

After that they asked for a photo of themselves in front of the image "Attention".
The form for "Additional documents needed" in the web version does not work, there is no form at all.
There is an Application for Android form, it's empty, it only has the "Submit" button. Is the bug made on purpose?

I sent a photo of myself in front of the image "Attention", a week has already passed. But the International ID was checked in 1 day.

My issue has not been resolved since September 5,12 days have passed already.

Technical support replies: "We've already sent you a reply in another chat. Please do not create multiple support tickets for the same issue! It doesn't speed up the process, on the contrary: it takes us even more time to sort out all your tickets."

I am worried, it seems that they are trying to deceive me.
There is a war in my country. I don't have a job. Freewallet is also trying to steal my money.

UPD: My account was verified and unlocked on September 19th.

I decided to try Freewallet to manage my cryptocurrency assets, but my experience was far from perfect. It all started with a small transaction of 0.05 BTC, which I decided to transfer to my account. However, my funds were blocked immediately after the transfer and I had to contact support. In response, I received a requirement to go through KYC verification, which turned out to be so crazy that even such a thing didn't occur to me. I was required to send not only photos of documents but also a video proving my identity. I realized that this was beyond reasonable, but I had to agree in order to get my funds back. However, even after going through the whole procedure, my funds remained blocked. I contacted support again, but only got the standard responses that my application was under review. In the end, I lost not only my 0.05 BTC, but also time and nerves on this unpleasant situation. I recommend everyone to avoid Freewallet and similar services to avoid such troubles and loss of funds.

I was one of the first victims of this fraudulent app.
They confiscated my 1.******* ethereum on December 2019.
They demanded several documents some which didn't exist in my country and despite my explaining on countless occasions that such documents are none existing in my country, they kept repeating the same statement.
Even after providing notarized translation of my ID, which all governments accept, they called it insufficient and claimed that their company is far more superior to any government.
Funny thing is that everywhere anyone posts a comment about this fraud agency, some messages pop's up from them claiming that all their requests are legit. Ir they completely reject the victim's statement.
Freewallet.org has no address, no phone number and even names of their CEO and staff are unknown. Their servers are registered in Germany but they claim the headquarters to be in Hong Kong while no one is able to locate if such organisation really exis.
That begs the question why would Play Store permit such app on their list.

Free wallet is a complete scam, transaction fees of 30-40%, terrible customer service, slow verification (took two months to verify my account). DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE
