when freemake was free, i thought it was an amazing program & i recommended it to everyone i knew...then they started charging for it, but i figured it's such a great program, it's worth paying for...but then they started nickel & diming for every feature & they throttle their conversion speeds to ridiculously slow & want you to pay more to be able to convert faster, pay more to remove their logo, pay more to download from youtube etc etc & now that it's a paid program, it constantly has new updates that make it run buggy so it doesn't work nearly as well as it did when it was free...this used to be the simplest fastest most versatile program i had ever it's a $100 pain in the ass...but the saddest part is, it's still better than any other options i've been able to find...

I took out a one year deal. It kept crashing. I tried all their suggestions and fixes with no success. Finally I asked for a refund which I have repeated a few times but I am just being ignored. Their customer service is rubbish. I wouldn't even give them one star if it was possible.

They advertise it as absolutely free--but that is only if you like their logo plastered on every single frame of your video. There is no warning about this. After you have spent lots of time cutting out unwanted parts of your video, when you go to look at it is when you discover it. You have to buy the Gold Pack and then start all over. They should be upfront about this on their web page. I feel it is false advertising and definitely not going to make satisfied users. The software is worth the price of the Gold Pack so why not advertise it.

Freemake so called free is the next best thing to a scam. The old version was simple and fast and if freemake doesn't soon realize this there will be no more freemake because no one will want it. Shame on Freemake.
