Easy frame building process and checkout process was simple to navigate. The only issue I experienced was not receiving the matting with the original order. Frame USA quickly shipped the matting after I reported the problem.

I could not determine what the quality and thickness of the plexiglass would be so I called AND emailed the company to ask how thick the plastic was. I was told the plastic is.288" thick both over the phone and via email so I proceeded to order a large number of oversized frames. When I received the frames I was disappointed to find the plastic within them was less than a millimeter thick and several of the sheets were scratched. I was very upset and contacted the company to find out why they had told me the plastic was thicker. The person who responded said that there are two types of plastic available: styrene which is thin and acrylic which is thicker. The website where I ordered the frames only offered one choice but they have another site which allows for an "upgrade." Their customer service reps told me the thickness for the upgraded plastic - despite the fact that I specifically asked how thick the styrene would be. This is very poor service. I had to pay over $100 to ship the frames back in order to get a refund and I lost another $30 for charges to ship those oversized frames to my home. I am extremely disappointed. They should make it clear that the plastic they offer is extremely thin and brittle.
The ordering experience was pretty easy. I purchased during a sale which helped with my budget. The frames came in about 1.5 weeks after ordering, which is fine. The frame finish and color is spot on. They arrived packed decently well (shrink wrapped) and all corners came with protectors. The actual assembly looks haphazard, the joints are not tight (can see light through many) and some corners came damaged. I did expect more, considering I could go to a local store and buy the same size frame for 50% of the price, no shipping cost, and a better assembly.

Your information about wholesale shipping is somewhat misleading since it implies you'll get a better price for wholesale orders when in fact it's only if you order upwards of $1500. Also the fields for putting in your state require typing when choosing from a list is easier and more accurate. No ability for auto fill.
Hi Stefanie! I apologize if you felt mislead regarding the shipping price. The wholesale products that you are purchasing are discounted compared to retail pricing. The cost of shipping wholesale orders is based on a number of things such as the amount of frames per order as well as where the order is being shipped to relative to our warehouse. The fragile nature of picture frames as well as the overall size does tend to lean to higher shipping prices. We try to be as transparent as possible when it comes to the prices on our website! The products themselves were fine, but poorly packed for shipment. Several pieces fell out of the package and were lost in transit. The company replaced them, but overall it took three weeks to receive the complete order. As a result, I missed the deadline for submitting my entry to an art exhibit.

Order 1- My frames were not broken, but the corners of them all were dented. They would have been fine if the packers simply would have wrapped in bubble or foam wrap. The layer of brown craft paper is not effective. They are unfinished frames so I'll sand them all to matching dented corner size. *eye roll*
Order 2-The company called and needed to add an additional $81 to my order for oversized shipping. Fine-whatever *eye roll* - I hear shipping is challenging so I begrudgingly agreed. The upside was that this order was bubble wrapped so the corners were nice. The eighty bucks paid off.
Was contacted out of no where to return monies. Came like spam! This should not happen w/o detailed
(Order #, purchase description, etc.) Info to the customer. I buy online alot so these purchase details were not on my radar.

Ordered four frames for my office but the quality is so awful. The frames are made from particle board with some sort of cheap coating and there are gaps in the coating from poor cuts. One of my colleagues even commented on how bad they looked.

The frame just didn't measure up to the cost. It didn't seem that the frame was so special or unique to justify the cost. I did order the frame with a foam backing and it came with cardboard instead. Not sure why.

I have been ordering wholesale from FrameUSA for over 20 years. I have had some issues with some frames on and off but they usually take care to replace any damaged frames. Shipping is quite expensive. Since Craig Frames absorbed FrameUSA, frames are put together a little differently and shipped differently. I have received a couple orders thus far and for the most park it has been OK. Just wish shipping was toned down a little.
Easy and satisfied! Quality frames which is not easy to come by these days.
Called customer service with problem they sent out another frame cover very fast
The pictures I looked at showed a mating in the frames. None of the frames we received had a mating. Which we will make work and it will be fine. Maybe I didn't read the description correctly.
Hi Duane, There are only a select standard sizes that include a stock mat. Unfortunately, the largest standard size that comes with a mat is 16x20. Customer service was bad from the start. They provided contradictory information about shipping. Product arrived nearly 3 weeks after their stated processing time. No one could give me a proper status. AND the products themselves are not good either. Framing is rickety, there is no covering on the back - you see the frame points. And those were not put in correctly, I had to secure each one. The actual image printing is good. I will never buy from this company again.
