I'm new to SD and have had some nightmare experiences at bike shops before. So when I bent my wheel in rose canyon on a Sunday afternoon I could feel the dollar signs. I walked it to FLX and was thrilled to they were open. They did such a good job replacing my wheel that I had them tune up a bunch of other things too. My bike was ready the next day as promised and I went and bought one of their pannier backpacks to haul my weekend gear in as well. It's been about 6 weeks and the bike is still riding better than it has all year. I couldn't be happier with the service and quick turnaround. Cheers!
I placed an order and decided to cancel once I realized my order would not ship for 4-5 months. After seven days and several emails FLX did eventually respond to my request, and they cancelled my order and gave me a full refund. FYI you cannot contact FLX by phone. Their toll-free number has a voice greeting that prompts you to send in an email to create a ticket.
Tomorrow marks the anniversary of when I made the decision to purchase my FLX Trail. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was riding my old bike up a steep hill on terrain that was very frustrating to try to navigate through. I told myself that the next time that I do this ride, itll be on an FLX. Purchasing this bike is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have made new friends, rekindled old friendships, increased my fitness and I have explored many amazing places. These are just a few examples. Every time I ride my bike I feel so grateful to have it! Looking forward to continuing this great journey. Thanks FLX! BTW, I ride up that previously mentioned hill all the time and now I smile the whole time.:-)

... and thankfully not mine! The Babymaker is absolutely amazing. The look and feel of a road bike, but with electronic pedal assist for the hills or zooming the flats. I replaced the pedal with my Speedplay lollipops so I could still get that feel like my old road bike, but I've got some adapters so I can use tennis shoes or flip flops for a casual spin around. The lime green catches attention and compliments my car show set up. I love telling people all about the features of the bike and hope they get one of their own.
I picked up my Babymaker as a Kickstarter because I believed in the concept and it was one of those solutions I didn't know I could get fixed! The FLX team kept me in the loop the whole time and yes, it took longer to arrive than anticipated, but that can be expected in these types of situations. Totally worth the wait and I'm enjoying both riding it and talking about it. Easy to assemble and all components feel solid.

Amazing so far! I literally find excuses to take random bike rides during the day I'm actually now in the process of communicating with a few other Babymaker owners to source their upgrades. I really like the fact that FLX posts the revamped versions of the Babymaker; it's inspiring.

Even though you guys didn't have the part in stock. Mark the tech over there was able to direct me to a place that had it online for a reasonable price…had you guys install it and it worked out great…Awesome!
The website was okay. Took a few tries to find the add ons I wanted. In short could be better - needs improvement. Would also appreciate info on ETD - rather than just a note on receiving the order
Very slow to respond.
Bought new bike. Took 6 weeks to get.
After only one full charge pedal sensor died.
After four weeks of emailing back and forth and even the emails took more that 4 days for response. I got a part that I had to change myself.
The after sales care is very poor. And my bike is brand new. I wonder what would happen if I was asking for help at the end of warranty period.
Quality of build and assembly is very poor. Cable connection sticks out the back very close to tire and cannot be pushed back into the frame. Prone to dirt from tire and rubbing against back tire. The front and back lights should have been feeding off main battery and come on with bike turning on. But you have to remove and take to your house to charge.
I am not happy.
I ordered my bike July 30,2020 and still haven't received it. Customer service has told me numerous times that it would be shipped. Tomorrow is May 1st, 2022 (1 yr 9 mo) and I'm still waiting, no contact about it yet. The campaign (with tracking number) says fulfilled when it was not. Highly disappointed.
I was an early backer of the Babymaker on Indiegogo. After many delays, the bike finally arrived. Not an easy task, but I assembled it myself, charged up the battery, and took it out for a ride. So good so far. When I got home I plugged it in to recharge and nothing. Nada. Bubkus. Wouldn't charge. I then engaged in a long and fruitless email exchange with mechanic Marc Reyes who said to take the battery out of the frame and test it with a multimeter ($70 at Home Depot if they are in stock.) That was a hard no from me. I'm in Chicago, nowhere near anywhere that will even look at this bike. So now it's just a heavy, expensive clothes hanger. Ugh
Part missing from a touring pack. After raising a customer service request which was automatically acknowledged it took 3 weeks To get any response and then only after bombarding the company on social media.
No ship date in sight; possibly spring 2022 for a bike purchased summer 2021 yet they are shipping bikes to other customers apparently and have offered to ship me a different bike. Not interested yet they will not refund my money. Shame on you...
After waiting 13 months, I was ready to begin talking steps to get my money back. Probably a fruitless endeavor, because of their unique purchasing arrangement. Let's just say, I am relieved to finally get what I ordered. It looks quality, but it will now be sometime before I can ride it following a recent back surgery. After which I fully expect any warranty to be expired. All said, a bad experience i would not recommend to anyone.

They have terrible after sales service. Got the very first unit they launched at Indegogo, in fact I was number 21 on the list. I was initially very supportive until I started questioning some issues. One of the founders started arguing with me. A founder arguing with a customer, I mean close to the point where there were loud voices over the phone. I just sold my bike and got something else.
Ordered a F5 Trail Bike and it was shipped without pedals or a charger. Still have not received the order and please try and call their home office and get a response. They will not pick up the phone or return an email even when I pretended to try and order another bike. Worst customer service I have ever received for the $$$$$ I spent. Go with another company as their are a ton of options out there.
Ordered in April or early May with "delivery" scheduled for October.
Its January and I'm fairly certain its NEVER coming. Tried to get refund and they're like "sorry bra, (tokes bong), no fret, on its way... some day. Lets go surfing..."
