Don't you ever guys deal with this scam flight agency!. I'm waiting until tomorrow to see if i got scammed or not, my story is i was searching for a ticket through Jetcost app and i found a round trip ticket for a good deal and when i clicked on show deal the app transferred me to this stupid third party website, i didn't thought for a second that stupid Flight trotters website could be a scam because I've dealt with other apps before and all was good. I put my informations and my card information and i got stupid email that i can tell from the reviews everyone got the same email telling me:" Your booking is under process of Airline confirmation. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience", in the next morning i got 3 emails from them telling me:" Your flight reservation with Reference Number **** is confirmed but the transaction is on hold since we require verifying certain information with you.We are unable to contact you on your provided phone number(s).Kindly call us immediately at *******079 or WhatsApp on *******837.Your delayed response may result in change of fare and availability.NOTE: We may have already charged your card, so please do not purchase this ticket elsewhere. If you require any further assistance, please feel free to write an email to us"
And when i called them back they told me the famous answer the one that they told everybody, i need to pay extra because my return flight is on waiting list, i don't know how i fall for this kind of scam and told them okay, they wasn't able to charge my card because i give them my virtual visa debit card and the daily limit was $2000 and the ticket was $2450 so they asked me if I can E-transfer the money and i did 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻 they put on hold and the agent came back and told me he will email me the e tickets in 15 to 20 minutes and he will call me back, and guess what he didn't! I tried to call him back with no answer so i used my gf phone to call them and when they answered the same guy was on the phone and he immediately recognized me don't ask me how cuz i don't know, i told him don't dare hang up the phone or put me on hold, i asked him why i didn't get my e tickets yet and he said there was i power cut in the building and he was unable to send me the tickets and he will for sure sent them tonight or tomorrow morning, i told him are you guys a scam, he laughed and he said of course not, don't worry i will send the tickets.
I don't know what to do or if i will be able to cancel this ticket and get a refund, i work hard to get the money and i don't want to be scammed by these fools who don't care about others, I'll be waiting until tomorrow to see what i can do, pray for me 😭😭😭

Never book ticket with this scamer.
This is a summary of this fraudulent activity.
On Sunday, November 24th, I purchased four roundtrip tickets from Montreal to London and back on their website for a total of CAD $2232.52. After entering my credit card information and confirming the purchase, I received an email stating that my request was being under processed. The following day, Monday, November 25th, I contacted customer service to inquire about the status of my ticket confirmation. A person named Frank informed me that my return flight was on a waiting list and its status would not be confirmed until the day of the flight. He then offered me a more expensive flight wich he can confirm. When we mentioned cancellation, he said that there would be a $600 cancellation fee (I questioned why a flight that was not yet confirmed would incur a cancellation fee). Nowhere in the ticketing process was there any mention of a waiting list.And it is completely meaningless that a person pay all the price for waiting list and cancelation fee for tiket which is not confirmed.
Frank pressured us into accepting the increased cost, and after that, he changed the price twice and asked us to reply to the email confirming the flight. We had no choice because we had booked connecting flights based on this ticket and would have had to pay cancellation fees for those as well if we didn't accept.
We replied to the email, but then he called again and changed the travel date, which was not at all feasible for us. He said we either had to change the date or accept another price increase.
They changed the price 3 times.
Finally, we spoke to someone named Chris last night who introduced himself as a manager. He offered us a different flight than the one Frank had proposed, and asked us to reply to the email confirming it.
To gain our trust, Chris sent us a ticket that showed that the new flight had been confirmed for us, but when I looked at the ticket issue date, it was November 24th, while we spoke to Chris on the 25th and had not yet confirmed his email.
This leads me to believe that either the sent ticket doesn't exist at all, and the whole thing is a scam, or the ticket was issued on the 24th and there was no waiting list at all. They only did all this to pressure us into paying more.
Additionally, they changed the baggage allowance multiple times throughout the process.
And incresse the price about 700 CAD just for Caryon bag.
When I read the reviews of their website, I realized that this was their modus operandi. They first offer a price, trap the customer, and then repeatedly increase the price for various reasons such as changing baggage allowance, seat unavailability, waiting list, etc.
They cause lots of problem for us.we had to cancel our other ticket that we purchesd base on this and pay cancelation fee...
If you face with that email call to your bank immediately and block your card and make claim.
DONT TRUST THEM.

Je n'ai jamais mais JAMAIS vu une compagnie aussi mal intentionnée. Ils te rajoutent des frais qui te disent qu'ils vont rembourser, encore sur la carte de crédit. Lorsque j'ai téléphoné pour un vol, la dame m'a suggérer un autre vol soit disant moins cher, ce qui était faux, mais elle m'a quand même demandé si je voulais le nouveau vol qu'elle venait de m'envoyer. J'ai dit oui, mais ceux si on écrit des noms sur les billets qui n'étaient pas correct. La dame a pris pour acquis les noms alors qu'on nous parlions du vol. J'ai envoyé 3 emails, j'ai fini par entrer en contact avec leur superviseur Vince. Service de MARDE. Il se déresponsabilise complètement de l'erreur de son employé Kathia. Me menace qu'il a la preuve que j'ai approuvé, alors que j'avais approuver le vol. Je ne savais même pas que les noms était sur le email envoyé. Lorsque j'ai tenter de rejoindre la compagnie aérienne, aucune possibilité de les contacter sauf sur watsapp, et sa ne fonctionne pas du tout. Donc j'ai 1 billet d'avion avec le bon nom et celui de mon enfant n'est pas le bon. On me demande d'acheter un autre billet d'avion pour lui. 1200 dollars de plus car ils ne veulent pas changer le nom de famille. Je les ai contacter sans délais. Aucun respect de la loi du consommateur. NE FAITE JAMAIS AFFAIRE AVEC EUX. Perte de temps et perte d'argent!

Purchased a ticket online (Montreal-nice) and was waiting for the confirmation, I'm then receiving a call saying the price went up by 450$! I said I didn't it want it and the lady on the phone said I had to pay a fee of $150 if I didn't want to pay the new price, how ridiculous she was then quite AGGRESSIVE, tried to scare me and then was just offering other dates with still high prices or to put me on a waitlist with the airline and then pay the price difference not knowing if I'll get a set THIS SITE IS A JOKE STAY FAR AWAY

Scammers

The price on flighttrotters website was very competitive. I proceeded with the booking and at the end no ticket was issued. They called me the next day and said that the price went up from 323CAD to 499CAD. The lady from customer service tried hard to convince me that the updated price is still good. I paid 75CAD cancellation fee and booked directly on the airplane company website for 383CAD - cheaper even with the cancellation fee that I paid.

Nous avions fait une erreur sur le nom des billets il nous ont chargé 400$ de plus et ensuite ils ont acheté les billets avec delta et puis chargé un montant de 279.00 en plus du prix des billets 1010.33. En plus nous avons attendus une heure au téléphone même personne avec un cent indien difficile à comprendre. Je n'achèterai jamais plus de billets en spécialité.

SCAM DO NOT PURCHASE

See below an email that was sent to flight trotters regarding my experience.

I am needing assistance on the difficulties of booking a reservation using your site. I feel like I have been scammed in some scheme and it is very clear your company is not here to help customers.

I booked two flight tickets from Toronto to London Heathrow airport at a price point of CAD $800/ticket on 12/13/22. The next morning I called flight trotters to gather some more information (how to pertain boarding pass and pick seats). During this phone call, I was told only my returning flight was confirmed and that the departure flight was full. (Also, I would not have known this had I not called. And potential to arrive at the airport with no flight?) I was flustered at this because why was I able to purchase these tickets to begin with? The lady then told me I can pay an extra $250/ticket to remain on this flight. I was appalled. I said there is no way I can pay that much more when I was willing to pay $800. She said she will see what she can do with another airline. She came back to me and said she can get me two tickets confirmed on an Air Transat flight for $169/ticket. My other option was to cancel these tickets at $150/ticket. So basically once I made the initial purchase, you now corner me into two choices: pay additional money for confirmed seats, or, pay additional money to cancel. It's a lose-lose for me. I am stuck. Scared of losing more money, I agreed to pay the additional money for a confirmed ticket. One hour later I received my tickets going to the wrong airport - London Gatwick. Why is it that your agent booked me at the wrong airport? Upon calling back very upset and furious at this, I was told I can then pay an additional $200/ticket to get on Air Canada 6:30 pm flight, which was the original flight I had purchased. The same flight that the agent had told me was full and I had to purchase a new flight? After some back and forth with this lady she gave me two options. She reduced the ticket price from $200 to $82/ticket to get on the air canada flight. Or, I can pay $220 total to cancel, instead of the original $150/ticket cancelation. I am left once again with no choice, and a cornered decision to lose more money, on an initial flight that was supposed to cost $800.

This is the worst experience I have ever went through. I am writing you today to make changes to my flight and correct these actions by adjusting my tickets to the correct airport. If this is not possible I will be blasting this case on all news networks, social media sites and review pages to make sure no one else gets gouged in your scheme. I will be reporting this everywhere. You trap people into paying more money and it is ridiculous.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A COMPLETE SCAM.

A set of thieves

For no reason should anyone ever use flighttrotters to book a flight. You will forver regret if you use them. I booked a flight and a few hours leter, they called me to pay an additional $300, claiming price increase. I refused and asked for a refund but was told no refund. The best I could get was a travel credit voucher, if I cacelled. I paid $200 to "secure" a flight. Two days laer I was told my flight was rescheduled. Given I did not want to miss my trip, I cancelled and got travel voucher of $1,045. Six months later, I wanted to use my credit voucher to book a flight but was told to pay additional $500, a fee for what they called "fuel difference". Although on their website and on many other flight agencies, the ticket for the same trip was $950. They also told me my voucer was valid only for the airline I previously wanted to use and not for their agency. I spent hours and days trying to book a flight with them but could not becausse even their so called supervisor asked for more money to secure a flight. I finally gave up.

Their workers do not speak proper English and will tell you stuff that does not make sense. It is written on their website "price match guarantee" but that is simply not true.

These people are not trustuworthy, between the time you book and the time you get the ticket they will tell you that the price has changed and you need to pay more. I got a copy of the ticket directly from the airline and the price of the ticket they paid was $500 something and they asked me for $800 something. From Chris to Jack Wilson managers, they give you the run around and never return your calls. I got a refund for them directly from the Airline which they confirm to me and these guys never refunded me, I wrote to them time after time requesting my refund and they just gave me a song and dance everytime this is since November 2021 and they have not done anything.

Please do not deal with this company.

A Trap Booking

Be careful. They trap you by posting a very low price, than tell you that price is NOT available and force you to buy it at higher price.
They post a ticket@ CA 744.81 than try to sell it to me@ CA 943-10 or I have to pay the penalty which is CA 150.
After long conversation, the offered to waive the penalty fees if I find a cheaper ticket, Which I did@ CA 853.37
Be careful ( Should get Zero Star)

Bad service, cheaters, scam, don't buy ticket with this company (arnaque), you buy ticket, later they call you to pay additional fees to confirm your ticket and if you don't pay so your money is gone and you can not cancel. Be careful before you buy!

Please don't booked or buy any tickets from those scammers, gangsters, Heartless people, they are all in India using fake names like Jessica Brown, Franck, Jose etc. they online kind and talked to you when you are purchasing the ticket, after that you will never her any satisfaction from those liars.
My story is the following:
Last year I booked from them an airplane ticket with all the protections, they increased the price in telling me the ticket I found with the lower price is sold out I have to pay more what I did, I miss my flight for a reason of passport issue I called them they told me no problem your ticket can stay open for a year just buy another ticket and save the first one, I agreed with them, I am calling them since June to get an answer about my ticket they refused to refund me my ticket and they want me to pay extra money an equivalent of purchase another ticket.
They are all terrorist, please report them everywhere RCMP, FBI, anti fraud offices to make to all world knowing them.

I called to make a primarily reservation and was asked to make a deposit and when I asked why, agent said because some airlines ask for it, I said u don't even know what airlines I'm referring to he then said its weekend so airlines this and that I said ur a scam which he wasn't happy to hear me saying it. Scammers in operation in open to rob and loot you.
Unethical, unprofessional, scammers and robbers

I was looking for tickets from Saskatoon to New Delhi. I saw the tickets from flight trotters with the most lucrative price of $1557. 91 and flight duration and booked it. I received the Booking reference number and called them up to ask when I would receive the confirmed tickets, and the agent at the call centre told me that the tickets were sold out for that price. That I have to pay $500 more for the ticket as the price had gone up. That was all in a span of two hours timeframe. He then offered me a different route through Japan. I refused and asked for a refund. I checked the website and saw that the price at which I had booed the ticket was still flashing in the website. It only means that were avertising a ticket that either did not exist, or was looking for a way to rob customers. I received the refund after a week.
But then again on March 7 I see that they had taken the amount of $1557. 91 from my account. I saw the error on my account on March 9 and immediately called them up. The guy at the call center was unaware and said would be refunded within 2-3 business days. It seemed he was sitting idle and did not do a thing. I called again on 13 March and talked to someone named Frank who said it would be refunded within 2-3 business days. I called up again on 14 March and the guy again said that it would be refunded withing 2-3 business days. I have not yet recieved the money taken away unauthorized from my account. I am leaving the country in a day, and I have no money on my account.
I posted the review on trustpilot and I receive a reply that they have not been able to find my details. I had given it to their agents. What lies. It seems they have an automated reply for all the reviews.
This company needs to be reported to Anti Fraud Bureau for misleading customers with false price and then robbing them

J'ai acheté mon billet en ligne sur le site Jetcost, et en une heure un agent de cette agence m'appelle pour me dire que mon billet du retour n'est pas confirmé… après il me dit que il faut changer l'escale car les canadiens ne peuvent pas faire 2 escales en Europe. Je lui dis oui vous pouvez changer l'escale il revient et me donne un autre billet de 500$ plus de ce que j'ai payé. Il ne me donne pas le choix. Donc j'ai tout fait pour qu'il me rembourse. Une autre agente parle que en anglais avec un accent dure à comprendre car je suis francophone qui s'appelle Natalia, Me dit qu'ils prennent 1 50 $ en anglais pour faire le remboursement, j'ai compris 1 dollars 50, mais après j'ai vu dans mon compte j'ai trouvé qu'ils ont pris 150$ alors sur le contrat du billet l'annulation est sans frais pour les usa et les canadiens avant minuit.
J'essaie de les contacter à plusieurs reprises mais sans succès. Pour me faire retourner mes 150$ car l'annulation pour les canadiens est gratuite, Après plusieurs tentatives ( j'ai appelé avec un autre numéro de téléphone) ils m'ont répondu on me disant que le superviseur n'est pas là pour le remboursement Et c'était comme ça pendant 2 jours. Personne ne parle français même celui que soit disant parle français on comprend pas bien son français.
Et quand je leur demande de me remboursement mes 150$ ils essayent de me vendre un autre billet d'avion, je ne comprenais rien de cette façon de faire. C'est louche….
J'ai lu dans les avis négatifs dans ce site avant de faire mon achat mais j'ai pas crus beaucoup alors que tout est 100% vrai.
Svp évité cette agence c'est un cauchemar. Ils font tout pour gagner de l'argent alors on n'est même pas sure de notre billet si est bon ou pas. Je ne souhaite à personne cette expérience la.

Immediately after booking a flight online on Thursday evening (10 Feb. 2022) with this company, someone from Flight Trotters (Charlie) sent me an email. I thought it was a confirmation, but when I looked at it closer, it said my reservation was confirmed but to call back to verify certain info. I called and they told me that the price had increased and I will need to pay $200 more (approx. 25% more). Since I was also checking the airline prices directly, I immediately knew this was a scam, and told them to forget it, and cancel the reservation. Charlie said that the ticket was non-refundable. I contested by saying they have not delivered what I am buying, so the transaction had not taken place, so this was a SCAM. Charlie then said he could cancel, but I would have to buy a cancellation insurance for $100. I repeated this was a SCAM and I was not paying any money. He said OK, he will make an exception and cancel the reservation for free. I asked for an email to confirm this, and he actually sent me a detailed email outlining the cancellation and full refund of funds within 2-5 business days. I confirmed receipt of this cancellation notice. We immediately called the credit card company (VISA) to explain the issue, and advise them to not pay for this "pending " amount on our credit card. The cc company noted that info on our file.
I thought it was all over, but then the next evening, I received a call from another person at Flight Trotters (Ben) saying that the ticket was non-refundable, and that I needed to pay $45 to cover the cancellation fee. As you can imagine, I in no uncertain terms told him that this was a SCAM, and that I was not talking with them anymore, and I hung up. We advised VISA that they were still trying to get money from us, and to ensure that no funds are paid to Flight Trotters.
Now, we wait and keep our fingers crossed that NO payment is made to these scammers. Essentially I am waiting for VISA to note "Denied" next to this transaction!

I purchased my ticket with my visa and several hours later they call to say I have to pay several hundred dollars more for my return flight. This is disgusting and should not be allowed. Thankfully I was able to cancel card, but hugely inconvenient. Beware of this Company
