I wrote a review earlier on how they screwed me over $1749 CAD for a flight that Air Canada cancelled due to COVID. They got my refund and never gave it back. A week ago, I got a call from a supervisor at Flighttrotters saying that I had a credit to use in the amount of $1749. So, I decided to book a flight in business class for an upcoming cruise trip; I took business to ensure to use up all the credit amount (the regular Economy price was around $700 CAD). The full Business class ticket, using the Air Canada website was around $1200. They wanted to sell me the same ticket, with a cost of $296 on top of the credit. Holly F**CK, anything to get more money out of you... incredible. I refused the ticket and hungup the phone since they were the ones calling me. I replied by an email saying, you guys are screwing me already selling me an overpriced ticket that I can cheaper on Air Canada website. DO NOT DEAL WITH THOSE MORONS AT FLIGHTTROTTERS; everytime I talk to them, it sounds like they are all on drugs or something.
Its a Rubish airline customer care staff is dambo they no one pick calls and never rply to emails i never seen they kind of $#*! airline in my life
Do not ever, EVER, deal with this company. If lucky, you'll simply get scammed. If not, you'll get robbed: losing thousands of dollars and your nerves.

If you are lucky enough, here is what happens:
You see a listing for very competitive air fares that they offer. Excited about the deal: you book it. You think your trip is now all set and wait for the tickets But they never come. Instead, one of their agents calls you saying that the seats are "not guaranteed" at this price, that you have to pay extra if you want to have them « guaranteed ». You decide to go on and pay the extra charge to avoid the hassle of searching and rebooking elsewhere. Then... still no tickets. They will eventually call you again saying the price has changed because the airline company raised their rates. You ask for a refund, but the process to get that refund is so overwhelming that you eventually end up paying the extra charge once again.
You finally get your tickets At an even higher price tag than if you had purchased them directly from the airline company in the first place.
Since you've been nervous and stressed out for 3 days due to unpleasant back and forth with the agent, you are now relieved to have your tickets. This is when they start arrassing you to get a good review. Tired and drained due to all the shenanigans, you end up doing it. Hence the few positive reviews they get. Kind of like Stockholm syndrome if you will.
A very well oiled scheme anyway.
I started mentionning that all of this was "if you were lucky" which was the case for a friend of mine. I unfortunately heard about his experience after having my own experience with them.
My experience was much simpler: I paid, never got the tickets, refused to pay the extra money they asked for, they did not refund me Not a scam, just pure highway robbery.
Je n'ai jamais mais JAMAIS vu une compagnie aussi mal intentionnée. Ils te rajoutent des frais qui te disent qu'ils vont rembourser, encore sur la carte de crédit. Lorsque j'ai téléphoné pour un vol, la dame m'a suggérer un autre vol soit disant moins cher, ce qui était faux, mais elle m'a quand même demandé si je voulais le nouveau vol qu'elle venait de m'envoyer. J'ai dit oui, mais ceux si on écrit des noms sur les billets qui n'étaient pas correct. La dame a pris pour acquis les noms alors qu'on nous parlions du vol. J'ai envoyé 3 emails, j'ai fini par entrer en contact avec leur superviseur Vince. Service de MARDE. Il se déresponsabilise complètement de l'erreur de son employé Kathia. Me menace qu'il a la preuve que j'ai approuvé, alors que j'avais approuver le vol. Je ne savais même pas que les noms était sur le email envoyé. Lorsque j'ai tenter de rejoindre la compagnie aérienne, aucune possibilité de les contacter sauf sur watsapp, et sa ne fonctionne pas du tout. Donc j'ai 1 billet d'avion avec le bon nom et celui de mon enfant n'est pas le bon. On me demande d'acheter un autre billet d'avion pour lui. 1200 dollars de plus car ils ne veulent pas changer le nom de famille. Je les ai contacter sans délais. Aucun respect de la loi du consommateur. NE FAITE JAMAIS AFFAIRE AVEC EUX. Perte de temps et perte d'argent!
Nous avions fait une erreur sur le nom des billets il nous ont chargé 400$ de plus et ensuite ils ont acheté les billets avec delta et puis chargé un montant de 279.00 en plus du prix des billets 1010.33. En plus nous avons attendus une heure au téléphone même personne avec un cent indien difficile à comprendre. Je n'achèterai jamais plus de billets en spécialité.

Please be careful with flighttrotter and do not attempt to buy ticket from them. One of the agent called * is a fraud including all the agent. They are fraud! They are fraud!
Be careful all. They will need to be taken up. This was a recent scam to me from Flighttotter with ref # FT*******. On Oct 17th 2020, I was looking for a ticket online and saw flight on their website. I was going to buy it and put all my information and paid In which a customer service called * called me and told me that he had recent the payment information to me to reconfirm the payment. I paid $1507. 87 directly from my bank account and he told me that he would provide me the ticket in the next 24hrs. He called me back after few hours that there was no flight available for my departure flight and if could add another $700 then he would guarantee a ticket for me otherwise I would loose all my money if cancelled the ticket for me. I asked him to send me a ticket booking confirmation that he had bought me with Delta airline so I can call them myself but he refused to send email rather he gave me some booking number for Delta and when I called Delta, they told me that booking number is not with their airline. * from flighttrotter asked me to voluntarily cancel my ticket and he sent the following to me "Please reply for confirmation of voluntary cancellation as" I agree for voluntary cancellation with fees of $400.00 cad and accept terms and conditions ".
Once received, we will cancel booking and send you confirmation of voluntary cancellation".
I replied him back that I am not voluntarily cancel my ticket and if there was no flight booked for me yet them he should refund me my full payment otherwise he should send me the booking confirmation for my ticket.
I have not heard anything since yesterday and I am still waiting for their response and my refund of $1507. 87. The ticket is still within 24hrs and hope they listen and refund my full payment because I will broadcast this via radio and TV as well if correction is not taking right away.

Compagnie frauduleuse. Service pourri. Nois avons demandé un remboursement du a la covid. Il nous font attendre en disant qu'il faut attendre 1 mois. Il nous raconte des mensonges à chaque fois que nos appelons. Cela ne merite pas aucune etoiles…
Compagnie pas sérieuse, On a réservé avec Flight Trotters pour deux billet aller-retour de 2604$C, après 6h agent m'a appele pour me dire qu'il faut payer un supplément de 800$C, car il n'a plus de place à ce prix.
J'ai demandé l'annulation et le remboursement il m'a informé que c'est non remboursable, j'etais alors dans l'obligation de négocier avec lui pour réduire la difference de prix, il a enlevé 400$C, j'ai refuse et j'ai demande le remboursement. Même la on a du négocier car ils voulait nous imposer une frais d'annulation de 300$C en fin conte on a réussi a baisser pour 200$C j'ai accordé ce payement, pas de choix si on veux avoir le remboursement. Le service est vraiment mauvais et les agents nous mettent de la pression pour payer le montant supplémentaire.

J'ai acheté mon billet en ligne sur le site Jetcost, et en une heure un agent de cette agence m'appelle pour me dire que mon billet du retour n'est pas confirmé… après il me dit que il faut changer l'escale car les canadiens ne peuvent pas faire 2 escales en Europe. Je lui dis oui vous pouvez changer l'escale il revient et me donne un autre billet de 500$ plus de ce que j'ai payé. Il ne me donne pas le choix. Donc j'ai tout fait pour qu'il me rembourse. Une autre agente parle que en anglais avec un accent dure à comprendre car je suis francophone qui s'appelle Natalia, Me dit qu'ils prennent 1 50 $ en anglais pour faire le remboursement, j'ai compris 1 dollars 50, mais après j'ai vu dans mon compte j'ai trouvé qu'ils ont pris 150$ alors sur le contrat du billet l'annulation est sans frais pour les usa et les canadiens avant minuit.
J'essaie de les contacter à plusieurs reprises mais sans succès. Pour me faire retourner mes 150$ car l'annulation pour les canadiens est gratuite, Après plusieurs tentatives ( j'ai appelé avec un autre numéro de téléphone) ils m'ont répondu on me disant que le superviseur n'est pas là pour le remboursement Et c'était comme ça pendant 2 jours. Personne ne parle français même celui que soit disant parle français on comprend pas bien son français.
Et quand je leur demande de me remboursement mes 150$ ils essayent de me vendre un autre billet d'avion, je ne comprenais rien de cette façon de faire. C'est louche….
J'ai lu dans les avis négatifs dans ce site avant de faire mon achat mais j'ai pas crus beaucoup alors que tout est 100% vrai.
Svp évité cette agence c'est un cauchemar. Ils font tout pour gagner de l'argent alors on n'est même pas sure de notre billet si est bon ou pas. Je ne souhaite à personne cette expérience la.
