Worst air company ever seen. The customer service is literally horrible, the treat people like objects and the charge for breath, mark on Vancouver was disrespectful
I wanted to write the worst review ever so people can understand just how bad this airline is however there is no sense as there are already thousands of terrible reviews.
All I can say is "AVOID AT ALL COST". They will cancel flights and strand you and don't give a $#*!! They will lie to avoid paying compensation and make you fight it out with them.cancelled our flights twice for "safety reasons" but in reality it was because they were down a plane because it crashed off the end of the runway.
When a computer assigns seats for a booking if 2 individuals one would expect to be seated together.
Not so with Flair, they go out of their way to hook you at opposite ends of the aircraft forcing you to pay for both seats if you try to move them.
Also arbitrarily charge for personal items which had been no issue on the outgoing flight but suddenly not on the way back - $77!
They lost my luggage on my flight from Nashville to Toronto almost 15 days ago, and no one has done anything. They have the absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my entire life. It's impossible to speak to a human, everything is ran by automated bots. The reason the flights are so cheap is because they have no employees.
At first was hesitant, but already used Flair 4 times and had 0 issues. No delays, No change of flights etc. I actually had more issues with Air Canada than Flair. So far so good! Will keep going buying Flair. Can't beat the price and no issues!
Purchased 2 tickets to Thunder Bay: one with Air Canada and return with Flair 4 months in advance. On the day of return (August 3rd 2022), at the airport had the surprise Flair flight had been suspended 2 months prior (due to work on the airport runaway). Flair never notified me about the suspension. I was forced to buy 2 new tickets at a very high price from the airport. At the end, this "low cost" airline cost me a lot more and caused a lot of stress.
Currently, their customer service department does not know if they operate from Thunder Bay.
"We have a lot of airports to operate, do you think we know everyone's status?" was their CSR response. What is leadership team's opinion about this kind of response?
Their customer service is extremely deficient, and I would never fly with this airline. I would rate them minus if available and I advise everyone not to buy tickets with them.
There is no contact number except *******333 with a very long wait and incompetent employees.
Buyer beware of Flair Airlines as they do not reimburse money owing. I have been waiting for a reimbursement from them since June on which they approved and never sent me. I have 20 emails of their acknowledgment in this mater telling me that they still owe me the money but today I received an email telling me that this mater was resolved without me receiving any money.
Although flair claims to be cheap flights, billing $26 to check in is ridiculous then to top it off $82 for baggage I had one check in and one Cary on! BS flight cost me just as much as a normal flight at the end of the day…. Cheap my $#*!!
Don't pay extra for seat assignments online. They will change up the seats you choose upon checking in and tell you that seats are not refundable. Had a terrible experience calling the call centre! Call centre reps just read a script and don't even try to help you. Spent more than $100 on extra leg room seats and assigned regular seats.
Absolute trash. Hidden fees for basics such as carry on bags, "service" at the counter as opposed to online, and ridiculous delays. Our 1hr flight from Victoria to Calgary was delayed by 3 hours. Laughable compensation of "a snack and drink".
Worst part is the low prices are barely any better than low price deals of other airlines.
Would not recommend. Trash.
Rather walk than deal with these Monkeys. They took my funds for return trip to Vancouver. Due to some health issues, I couldn't travel. Called them several times but absolutely nothing!
Stay away from them!

Completely lost my credit because "their website glitched" (their exact words) and would do absolutely nothing for me.
Seriously consider walking over using this airline. They're a very slimy company that will try to take your money at every chance.
Terrible experience with this airline. I booked three trips with them over the summer. Every single one of them I had issues. From changing our flight time four time before we took off, or not having enough staff to pull us in off the tarmac (one full hour on tarmac). And last but not least, they canceled my flight home from Vancouver without any notification. So I was close to leaving, before I found out I didn't have a flight home anymore. And of course you tried calling them…… no one's home EVER! Even their own staff don't want to work for them. Very unprofessional and no organization through this company. Don't fly flair, fly swoop. Way better experience.
My luggage was lost for a month now. I've been contacting their customer service agent multiple of times through emails and calls but no responses. It's very frustrating and disappointing. My medications, important papers and lots of my valuable items were there. Do not fly through this Airline, they don't care about their passenger's belongings and no responses from them at all. I will never fly through FlairAir ever again, even if its free!
Flew with Flair Air last Saturday from Fort Lauderdale to Toronto. I have had the worst experience ever! I was flying with my family and my little 5lbs dog. The stewardesses were absolutely horrible and were giving me contradicting instructions. One of them made me very uncomfortable, scared and she threatened me few times that she is going to get me escorted off the plane if my dog sticks out her super tiny head from the backpack. Unbelievable! Inhumane! And this actually should be spread more as I have never been treated like that in my life! Horrible experience!
Looks like a scam they gonna cancelled your flight on the time of boarding where you dont have a choice but to purchace more expensive flights to cover their mess. F@@@k you Flair Airlines wishing you vanished in this world! Flight 822 march 24 9:40am
Booked my flight with them to Calgary and back on the same day. Return flight was canceled without any notice. Stayed overnight in Calgary and slept on a bench. Hotel was offered only in the morning when I was leaving in a few hours. They changed the flight time by moving it by four hours. Worst airline ever. Sent me to Abbotsford instead of Vancouver. Stay away at all cost! Save yourself stress and money and book your flight with a company with a reputation. Dishonest customer service they just think how to get rid of you. Never again!
They are just ripping off the passengers. I have paid for 2 suitcase$200 extra due to 1 Kg. I was asked again to pay extra $110 dollars. Then I had to argue with the agent but just a big headache no piece of mind.
Flight cancelled one hour before we arrived at airport. They re-booked automatically 3 days later which we couldn't do but there was no way to alter the re-booking without additional charges. They have no phone line, an email that only sends pre-programmed responses, and a chat that is manned by a bot. Even if you ask the chat to speak to a real person, you get a bunch of canned responses about how there's more than usual chat activity, be patient... until they disconnect you (about 2 hours later with no actual responses given). Not a real company. Don't use if you actually have to get somewhere.
Canceled and claimed weather was the reason. When in fact weather was perfect for flying and no other flights to the same airport were cancelled in the GTA to the same exact place. Liars and cheats that don't answer your calls or chats. Told us we would be booked on the Thursday flight when we were supposed to leave on the Tuesday. Well that doesn't really work does it? No answers for anything we are trying to ask. Complete silence on their end. Dropped my call after waiting for over two hours on hold. Stay away from flair. Poorly ran and does not have their sh** together. Thanks for ruining our Xmas a**holes. If I could give you a -5 I would. That's how sh** you are.
Answer: Terrible. ON hold for at least 30 minutes, and no help when you do finally get them.
Answer: Total scam. Wonder if the aircraft will actually get to thr destination on all thr "bandaids" they use to keep it together. And expect extortion rates at the gate for a personal item that will easily fit under the seat in front of you.
