Flair airlines canceled our flight 3 hours before the flight, they didn't refund the money (more than 900$), worst experience ever!
If I could rate their customer service zero stars I would, they haven't even earned a one star.
I got a text this morning saying "here's what you need to know for your flight on July 24". I am supposed to be flying out on July 23. Sure enough I log into the manage my booking portal and my flight has been moved to July 24 without any communication to me whatsoever. I would have gone to the airport on the 23rd with no idea about the cancellation.
In addition, the seat selection that I overpaid for wasn't carried over to my new flight on July 24.
I reached out to their LiveChat and it's been 30 minutes since the LiveChat agent responded again after their initial "I am going to help you with your request". They haven't acknowledged my concern AT ALL.
The agent in my chat is named JOEMAR and he is a horrible employee, probably like 99% of their staff.
Pay the extra money, fly WestJet or Air Canada, trust me.
Honestly, probably the worst service I've received from an airline and I've travelled much more than most. The checkin was rude, made the woman in front of me pay for a toddlers backpack as a carryon because she said it was too big as a personal item as well as myself for my diaper bag, which is meant to be free. The flight was then delayed three times. We were given food vouchers only, which expired the same night and all of the restaurants in the Ottawa airport were closed. We were sent an app to rebook, and it links to a site that's been down for three days. I waited 40 minutes on hold to talk to an employee who wouldn't refund a bag for my uncle who I was traveling with despite him no longer needing it because I am no longer traveling with him, and didn't even pick the seats, despite having already paid an additional fee for having done so. I would not recommend this airline.
This is the worst airline in the world, recommend everyone not not spoil to so precious time because of few bucks. It never departed on time.

Booked flights in July 2020. Canceled due to covid. Flair refused to refund. Booked new trip for March 2022. Had to pay on top of vouchers. Flights, again canceled. No reason given. Refunded only a portion of fare. We're stuck with useless vouchers. NEVER FLY FLAIR AIRLINES. LIARS AND SCAMMERS

I've been trying to contact them for two days now. 0 customer service. My flights in 2 days. They will not pickup and now i have to cancel my trip because no responses. I tried live chat and no one connected, i trued the phone and after an hour and a half of being on hold they hungup on me. I tried the text service and no responses just a robot. I tried emailing and absolutely nothing back. I tried their " in app changes" and it wouldnt load the entire night.
This was the worst experience I have ever had with an airline. Once our flight was cancelled after being delayed for over an hour, we were made to line up to wait for help with no information on what this would be. Airline employees seemed to want to get everyone out of the airport as fast as possible and were therefore pushing a cancellation option with no compensation for their "unexpected macitence". Somehow, the back end of the line was made to be served first which pushed me to the back of the line. After waiting two hours to be helped and given any information, the airline employee told us there were seats available on another flight. Within seconds, her computer froze and these seats were given to people who were served after us. They did not compensate even by giving us free parking or food/water although I did see that they had snacks to be given out, behind the counters. We were told we would receive a confirmation about our refund within two hours but it was never received. Currently I have been on hold with their customer support for over 2 hours with no end in sight. This was an awful experience, avoid this airline at all cost.
Stay away from these guys, its total chaos in there! Flight cancelled twice within a month and now the refund fiasco is in the making... Be good to yourself and buy your tickets somewhere else!
Flight was delayed in Orlando Sanford but no fault of Flair airline. Excellent service plan on using them again next year to fly to Florida. Thank you Flair.
I book a ticket for me and my sister to winipeg going was fine however coming back was the worst experience ever she had a turband on her head and she was ask to remove it even after she told them it's religious reason they made her take it off I understand that it was not in her photo...yes religion can be established after I'd was taken.this was very upsetting...it was my first time flying with flair and I think it's my last time...at checking the perdon was rude and would not check her in.the flight locater Qf6v7m...
I flew flair for the first time from Toronto to Vancouver return. I have issues with the vaguely unprofessional demeanour of the staff, but of major concern is their non-functional online system. I reached out to Flair in an attempt to make a change, but to no avail. The online chat did not work, I waited two hours on hold for an agent and then used the callback function but never received a call back. I abandoned the idea of changing my flight, but when I tried to check in the next day, the system did not recognize the booking code - despite having received a text from the airline prompting me to check-in! Again, I tried all venues to contact the airline, but to no avail… I am on the fourth hour of waiting for a call back. Of note- Expedia was useless in assisting me with the issue. Apparently flair does not give access to Expedia, so a traveller in distress is on their own! There is no cost savings once you pay for a carry on bag. This airline iS unprofessional in service and management - a concern for a business where safety is paramount.
... after my sons finally arrived at their destination via another airline... they had to find their luggage that went ahead of the flight that left without them. To no one's surprise they had to wait an additional 2 hours until someone on their 2 hour lunch break arrived to help them retrieve their bags... once again... DISGUSTING, DEPLORABLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE SERVICE!
Round trip flight. The flight out was fine, as long as you're aware of the extra fees prior. Only really worth it if you travel light.
The problem was the flight back. It was "delayed" morning of, for 2 weeks. After waiting for an hour and a half on hold to get through, the agent said that the only options were a refund, or to book a different flight (only with them of course). The soonest flight was 3 days later. When I told the agent that this was unacceptable and I wanted to speak to a manager I was told he'd call me back, which of course he never did. So my only choices as I absolutely had to get home that day was a $2,000 flight with another airline, or rent a car and drive 14 hours. Nothing was reimbursed, I still have yet to hear back from the manager. Their complete lack of empathy in a situation that they caused is disgusting. Not only was the agent not willing to work with me at all (the cost of the rental was only 100$ more than the flight, I wasn't asking for the moon), but she was completely void of any type of concern. "These are the only options, which do you want". I will never fly with them again.
Our flight from Calgary to Victoria was delayed from 6:30PM until 3AM the next morning. Now our flight from Calgary to Victoria is similarly delayed. The airline is also stalling on compensation for delayed flights included in the passenger protections act.

I had to change my flight times so l had to cancel and change times. L recieved a credit for the flight. When l got the changed flight it was 5 hrs late. They issued a credit to be used for refreshment in the airport. Not one of the restarants would use it. I checked in on line to avoid the 25 dollar airport checkin fee. I paid for a small carry on at that time. When l got to the counter l had to pay again because l had no proof of payment. I can not get ghat money back. The total experience was terrible?
- If you call Customer service- after stating trip id system says press 1 or say yes. Only works when saying yes. Pressing 1 gives you message "we're sorry, please say trip id". A small fix needed which will create a great impact. But, they don't care about customers.
- I overpaid for checked in baggage and called. You'll be on hold for 45 min/1 hour without anyone taking your call. I tried a couple of times and never could speak with anyone.
- Chatbot will gather your info and you've to wait for a live agent to text you
- Everything is extra fee. For add on, you've to pay separately for up and down trip. Two transactions, extra fees - tried to avoid that and pay for both ways, payment got posted double in return trip only. When I reached the airport - I was asked to pay when I put my luggage on the conveyer belt. I was carrying the printout. Presented. But, they said they couldn't do anything. They gave me a small printout with customer service contact number and asked me to call. That was the beginning of my misery. Nobody picked up. Chatbot did connect to a human. He couldn't process refund. I was given an email address. It took hours for me to get in contact to where I should contact.
- There's no in flight entertainment even for 5 hour flights
- Flight attendants don't even offer water for free. They'll ask you to purchase a bottle. Food of course isn't included.
- Carry on bags extra. Checked in luggage extra. And Flair proudly announce that on their website in big and bold. "Did you know we charge extra for carry-on?" It's an insult. They should add that small fee in the ticket price and try to compete with competition. Unfortunately they don't understand customer needs. "Customer Satisfaction" or even better - "Customer Delight" are a notch above their head.
- Air hostess said "you can put it in the overhead bin if it fits". Didn't even offer to help putting my bag on overhead bin.
- No nets at the back of the seats to keep bottle or tissues
- They'll ask you to take off your waist bag where I keep passport and money and ask you to put it under the seat
Took me forever to contact this company and cancel my reservation due to Covid and they don't do refunds, just credit. Ridiculous and the cancellation fee is a robbery
I was flying from Toronto to Cancun and to flair, when I arrived in Cancun I found out that my bag was never put on the plane. For 5 days I was stuck in a foreign country with no clothes except for what I was wearing plus a shirt in my carry on, luckily my friends shared with me. I was in co tact with flair then entire time I was in Mexico and the entire time they they said we are still looking for your bag be patient. It's been a week since they lost my bag and have yet to find it, they keep saying be patient but how can I when almost everything I ware on a daily basis is in that bag. They won't give me a refund until the bag is found and will only reimburse me for $50 per day based on what I purchased that I need since they lost my bag. I am still in contact with them even a week after they lost my bag and they are still saying the same thing they did a week ago.
I will never fly with this airline again, they have horrible customer service and I will tell everyone I know to never fly with them either.
Answer: Terrible. ON hold for at least 30 minutes, and no help when you do finally get them.
Answer: Total scam. Wonder if the aircraft will actually get to thr destination on all thr "bandaids" they use to keep it together. And expect extortion rates at the gate for a personal item that will easily fit under the seat in front of you.
