The writer seemed slightly disorganized. My resume had typos and inconsistencies.
I was asked to provide all the content and wording for the resume which was pretty stressful. They basically just copy and pasted it into a word document template.
I would definitely advise against using this service for how expensive it is. Maybe if it was $100.

Paid upfront for an executive resume and cover letter service on 8 June advertised with a 3-5 business day turn around. I was not placed with a writer until the 14th June who then said they would need a further 7 days to complete the service.
She was not prepared for the interview, had not read any material presubmitted and showed no capability of being able to complete the task.
I sought a refund and while they said they would provide it, as my credit card had to be cancelled due to a hacker accessing my details they refused to pay me back by any other means. I have since lodged a vise dispute form and it is now 3 weeks since they agreed to refund me with no payment received.
We understand that you were dissatisfied with the timing of our services and requested a refund. We immediately processed your refund, but unfortunately, it was declined by your bank. Again, we advise you to contact your bank to resolve this issue.
It's just a lot of money and for someone who doesn't have a lot of cash to throw away I'm worried I'm making the wrong move. Will change my rating at a later date when I've received the resume.

After using this service and receiving the resume I can say that, overall the customer service was meh at best. I was often left in the dark and didn't know what was happening. Plus the lady who was working on the service was very negative for, at the time, was a kid who was entering the workforce and was wanting to help boost his resume. The resume was okay, but nothing super special and definitely not worth the price.
BTW idk why the site is saying they tried to "help" me. More like bribe me to look at the company, then remove my review for a 50$ Amazon card. Overall, I wasn't scammed but I'm not going with them again in the future

Overview (I have a few additional points in emails but will be brief): I worked along with the assigned professional. I put in over 25 hours since my position is unique which I think is needed to get good results. I had a phone call and then sent emails bulleted with directions for adjustments industry specific that I found that were not followed (over and over). I felt that there were errors etc that I needed to correct (a lot that were mostly grammatical or formatting) and then repeat my requests and proof read on those previous requests. I requested another follow up call hoping to talk rather than email directions since maybe this was confusing. I had said to call after 5pm on Thursday. I left work early and made sure I was home at 4:30pm to ensure I didn't miss the call. I received no call or email. I reached out at 7:30pm stating she may have been caught up to reschedule. This professional replied: you didn't state a time so I didn't call, never mentioning additional dates or times for that call. No second call was made, which honestly these projects need more than one phone call to understand different professions.
Following that I had a few minor revisions that this professional seemed to get annoyed with. She had stated on one of the last emails that she would send a final email but then only replied: Good luck on your job search. I replied Thank you. Overall I feel disappointed that I bought a VIP package with poor customer service resulting, which is very expensive compared to all other services. I went this route because of the reviews and considered it a complete investment. While Im happy with the end results, I put in a lot of work, and time into this project but feel that I experienced poor customer service overall. I work in an industry that I need to have great customer service which I feel that this professional started out like but got annoyed with minor requests that she should have remembered or honesty picked up on for formatting concerns.
Overall, Im not as impressed as I hoped I'd be. I had mentioned this service to a few industry colleagues but have stopped discussing my experience after the above occurred.

What I loved about working with Mike at Find My Profession was that networking just works differently when someone else does it for you.
If you're reaching out to a company and saying "hey, I'm interested in this job and think I'd be a great fit", the natural response is something along the lines of "of course you'd say that -- you want the job."
But when someone else reaches out for you and says that you'd be a great fit, and they don't have any obvious skin in the game, it has a much bigger impact. People are more inclined to take it at face value, and then you have your foot in the door at the company.
Also, money spent on getting a professionally prepared resume is just a good investment. Every mediocre or crappy resume that you send out is a waste of time and burns another opportunity.
If you're ready to take your job search to the next level, would recommend Find My Profession. The resume positions me for success at the right level, Pamela did a great job incorporating the highlights we discussed during the initial review and was creative and patient with edits. The LinkedIn profile updates came out interesting and engaging.
Why 4, not 5 stars? Cost - comparatively, this is a much higher cost than other services available. What would make the cost more acceptable is the option to request 3-5 versions of the resume/cover letter as part of the package. The current services include a guide to revisions.

I was able to navigate the site easily and select my resume writing service. I sent a follow up email to Lindsay as I hadn't heard from anyone after 48 hours of paying for my selected service and sending the necessary material as requested in the first email (all within 24 hours). She immediately responded and later the Executive writer emailed me (all within a few hours of my email) Andy was knowledgeable and a great help to a novice just entering an Executive level.
