I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others about my experience with Find My Profession. What was sold to me as a premium, personalized service turned out to be a deeply disappointing—and, in my opinion, misleading—ordeal.
Before signing up, I was explicitly told by staff that my education and work experience were an excellent match for their services and that my job search would face minimal obstacles. That assurance was a key reason I trusted them with thousands of dollars and several months of my job search.
The problems began in August 2023 when I purchased a Federal resume package for $895, which came with a "Resume Writing Interview Guarantee." with the recommendation of staff I invested another $2,499 in their Reverse Recruiting service, again lured by a similar "Interview Guarantee." These guarantees are nothing more than marketing gimmicks—disguised behind flashy stats, awards, and positive reviews, all meant to distract from the fine print and questionable practices.
Their website specifically promises to network with decision makers to land you interviews and to "network for jobs on your behalf". But that promise—of leveraging real connections, reliable job sourcing and networking to get me interviews—resulted in zero interviews, leaving me defeated and misled.
The service felt impersonal, communication was inconsistent, and the deliverables were far below professional standards. Despite the marketing hype, it offered no evidence of actual outreach or connection-building.
When I raised concerns, I was met with vague explanations, deflections, and zero accountability.
The gap between what was promised and what was delivered was massive. It wasn't just disappointment—it felt deceptive. I spent thousands, saw no progress in my job search, and was left feeling taken advantage of.
What truly shocked me was the conduct of CEO Mike Podesto, who personally offered me a $250 payment to remove my honest Google review. This so-called offer came with a deadline and a threat: accept the money or lose any further contact and support—with no refund offered. This wasn't just unprofessional—it was deeply unethical.
In my opinion, Find My Profession preys on vulnerable job seekers and offers little in return. I strongly urge anyone considering their services to proceed with extreme caution—or better yet, stay far away.

Find My Profession did exactly what it says on the tin. Within two months, I had a full schedule of interviews and more follow up emails to send than I could have ever imagined.
