I have used this app with out any problems, but if you end up with a problem BEWARE! Customer service will not be willing to help! I recently had 2 gift certificates "denied" when I took printed versions to the stores. The only "help " I've received from Fetch is that it's MY RESPONSIBILITY to reach out to the retailer! This app is advertised as easy & fun to use, but not when you have a problem you need help with! Very disappointing!
Fetch does not promote healthy eating. Ask the foods you get great points for are very unhealthy. Red dye 40, parabens, high fructose, etc. The value in signing up has decreased. Since when can't you at least get 25 points for a receipt? It's all down hill from here. Hope long can you have a give card before it's not usable? I'm just saying, it's crap now. Done even think of wind in their sweepstakes. That's further down the scanned rabbit whole.
I scanned all my receipts and earned a $25 reward from t.j Maxx. The reward was not working in the store and I was told to contact Fetch. After many conversations with them they told me to contact t.j Maxx. This is not worth my time or aggravation.
I had really liked fetching receipts and tapping to play but because I returned some items they canceled my account without telling me. It stopped working and I had to reach out to learn what happened. So approximately 6 months of submitting a lot of receipts, I walked away with 1 $25 gift card - not worth sharing all that data for that! So disappointing.
Where to begin? When you take a photo of your receipt, the app doesn't always recognize the bonus items. Trying to communicate with Fetch's customer service to fix it is like slamming a rock into your forehead repeatedly. One of my Amazon purchases, a large points purchase, miracously would not upload. Fetch advised that they would look into it. 5 days later, I contacted them again. Now I'm told that I have to take photos of all kinds of things in order to get the points. I mean, a laundry list of things have to be in the photo. They also remove bonus items from your dashboard prior to the expiration date and before you can fulfill them. If you're a gluten for punishment, sign up! I am reporting them to the New York State Attorney General's Office as a bait-and-switch scam.
If I could give a minus zero to fetch, I would. It used to be a good app to make extra money. However, over the course of the months, I've notice fetch has implemented more restrictive practices, making it harder to get an award. I do not recommend their app and I think their practices are dirty. I would recommend using Merryfield. Way better app.
Didn't receive my 10.00 for the******* points. Fetch said they cannot verify 3rd party & won't tell me who to contact. I attempted to use the gift card the next day. Amazon sts # already used by someone else. I think Fetch is a waste of time and a SCAM!
When you go to cash in they blatantly tell you that you cannot get your gift card because you have receipts that were non visible, out dated or altered. Crazy. Use NCP instead. There are many more receipts scanned apps where you get $ back faster. Don't use this one, not worth your time.
I wasted money on name brands I nwver use and of course didnt get any of the points! Around 4 or 5k I believe. So disgusted with this fraud app. Just don't!
I had 2,000 bonus missing from a receipt in past 2 weeks. I sent a request to reconsider and provided all the info including the date and that it was over 3 days old. They wrote back saying they wanted to help resolve and would I provide the same info again. I searched for 30 minutes to find and send a copy of the original receipt that showed the exact same info I already told them. They immediately responded that it was over 3 days old and rejected my request. I'm wondering if it was a person that did not really read my original inquiry or dumb AI. Either way they did not need to waste my time with a needless request. And, frankly, this site requires a lot on time and energy for minimal return.
Do not waste your time there's so many other companies that you can scan your receipts with, and you will get your money or your points. I don't know what is up with this company they have Scammed me out of thousands of points. And three of my friends and it has happened to you. Do not use these people. It's not even worth your time and you won't get what you have coming.
I had 187,364 points that I wanted to cash out, but in trying to continue to take snapshots of my receipts, it will not show my points on the receipts? There was no reason for them not to honor my points! I have been racking up these points for two years and have been honest, It was just my husband and my receipts that I snapshot! They did not give me a reason why I was banned from Fetch? The only thing I can think of was that I was ready to cash out… as another reviewer said karma what comes around goes around :)
I used to really get excited about scanning receipts but not anymore. They raised the amount you need to get gift cards and they now take away offers before they end. I was half way through a couple offers and they just deleted it so I couldn't Finish. They also make it so you have to correct almost every reciept because it doesn't give you the correct amount of points you earn.
Fetch is a scam, they take your earned points/rewards for no reason. Claim
You didn't legitimately earn the points. Once they take away your points your account becomes
Inactivated. And customer service ignores any and all questions
Fetch has raised the point requirements so high that it impossible to get a reward unless you purchase their 'bonus' products.
Fetch is now a poor 'bait and switch' trap. Most people are not going to need/use that many of their limited 'bonus products.' I quit and deleted the app.
I've been with Fetch for quite a while. Everything has been fine until I cashed in 50,000 points to get a $50 gift card to Amazon. Turns out they charge 3,500 points now for the gift card. They did not let me know this. Then I noticed that they took 4,495 points from me and said I had submitted a fraudulent recipe. I asked for a review and they determined that I had a history of submitting illegal receipts and they deactivated my account and it's permanent! I just wanted to see what I submitted that they deemed fraudulent. I still have almost 50,000 points that they won't give me because they think I'm trying to pull a fast one on them. Anyhoo, I will not recommend them to anyone.
Fetch app stole my mother 47,000 points from her phone. Run from this app. Tried to contact these people & got zero response. Shame on u for not helping her...
App boasts it accept all receipts but this is False. If the business is not a well know company the receipts stay at zero points. Also have had issues with the camera not taking the picture of receipts. If receipts are not taken within 14 days of purchase it is not accepted. Reached out to customer service several times via email, explain the problem and was told they would not honor the receipts they have to be within a 14 day period.
At first, it was a good app, but then they switched things so your points weren't worth as much. Now to redeem points you have to pay extra, so if you want to redeem to Amazon for instance, and you have 10,000 points, it'll cost you 12,500 points to get the $10 gift card. To make up for that, when you upload a recept every 24 hrs you get to spin a wheel for extra points. Trouble with that is, you'll most likely only get 5-10 points at each spin. It takes a lot longer now to build up enough points to redeem.
I purchased Scott towels, which had a 10 point per dollar bonus. I spent $156.58 so I should have received 1565 point but was given 271 point. I contacted Help several times and they obviously can't do math. They assured me the amount was correct. "Fuzzy Math"
Answer: This is all a scam. They use your purchases to track what you buy so that they can sell your information. You will never get the rewards.
