I purchased a 3 gallon tree but received a a small tiny little bush that was in a 2 quart container. But was hastily out into a 3 gallon container. I sent a picture and said this was not worth $100 and was not a whip but a small bush.
I was told this was an accident and that a new "tree" would be sent out immediately. It's been two weeks and no indication that a new tree has been shipped out. I check the website but it just says the order has been received.

The Chinese pistache tree arrived dormant. The leaves were yellow/red instead of green when it leaved out ca. 3 weeks later. Within 3 weeks the leaves looked droopy, the edges curled up and turned brown, then wilted. The soil was neither too dry nor too wet. The problem is verticillium wilt, which I haven't had before. The tree is dying, and now I've got the fungus in my soil.

The upper half of one of the trees I received is dead. The lower half shows signs of life but the upper half does not.
Ordered about 8 plants total. Most arrived fine. One plant, Aureum Maple arrived damaged, with roots showing and plating materials spilled into the plastic bag. Not certain the tree will survive.

Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
