Ordered 10 green giants and all lived and growing well in east TN
I order an evergreen every year for Christmas, we have Cypress along the fence, and I have also ordered a willow and a Meyer lemon tree that produces beautifully. Trees always arrive healthy- always pleased!
Overall, a good experience. Ordered 12 Green Giant Arborvitae. Received correctly as described. Took longer than expected to receive so they got planted a little later than anticipated. Early cold snap with below freezing temperatures so time will tell.
Ordered 7 gal boxwoods Received 3 gal sized plants in a 6.23 gal container. Root balls we're so small for their container they fell out during shipment
Great to work with. Delivery was damaged by shipper but FGT quickly made it right and replaced the damaged items, with quick delivery so that we were able to get the plants in before winter hit.
Very pleased with the variety of plants FGT has. My last experience was purchasing 2 Fruit Snacks Apple trees. Both were in excellent shape and a little bit larger than expected - a bonus!
I ordered a Chocolate Mimosa. I got it for a great price, it was packaged well, and I received an excellent specimen that hadn't been topped. Very pleased.
Just thought that the additional discount should have showed up in the checkout process.
Expert help is wonderful. Ease of replacement experience fair. Having to pay high shipping cost for replacements, not favorable. Would prefer to receive healthy plants that thrive.
I ordered four trees with certain due dates. When they arrived it was 2 week later than promised so too late to get planted this fall BUT all of the trees looked dead anyway. So why bother. I'm glad they give a replacement guarantee for they shall certainly need it. Very disappointed.
Sent an elm first then back and forth for several weeks before Aspen arrived. Forced to plant in ground now starting to seriously freeze. Not sure it will survive.
If U might want to look at your profit model.
Your discounts never really feel as what they are.
It just comes back to add on taxes. Shipping, HANDLING? U could reward people for always *******@your site. You could make the loyalty work for both the customer and the business.
It's just like a magic act with product size or which discounts U get?
Right now I didn't have a choice it's for a gift!
While I like shop, it does not allow the PayPal option to check out, so I do not get credit for my purchases because I have to check out as a guest. I'm upset that my previous purchases didn't earn points and will continue not to earn points while PayPal is not offered while logged in through Shop.
After losing 3 $400 austrian pines (from a local tree farm partially due to clay soils and a needle blight brought on by water spraying the leaves per the farms advice), I decided to try fast-growing trees' green arborvitae trees in smaller starts. HAPPY NOW
Received the wrong tree at first, and they quickly shipped out a replacement without asking for the incorrect tree to be returned to them. The spruce arrived healthy and happy shortly thereafter!
I spent more or less $600 trusting descriptions, paid $139. For a Monty Spruce Pine tree noted as 3-4ft tall and I received a 12 inches tall tree. You're deceiving and malicious as in addition to lying about sizes; advertising plants in gallons and sending quarts you also offered buy one and get a second for 50% less and then charged me full price. This is beyond reprehensible and bad business practice for this was the last time you hear from me.
I like to try all the different online vendors out there. Probably one of the more disappointing products received. Lesson learned to buy locally when possible.
You can't personalize the order in any way. If you order a tree as a gift, you can't include a note or even any indication of who sent it.
In addition, the tree or bush arrives without any planting or growing tips, nor even a clear identifier to indicate the type of plant. As a result, the recipient isn't necessarily excited to receive it. Instead, the recipient has no clue what to do with it.
And that's such a drag, because these plants and the shipping charges are really expensive!
I wanted to add a message because it was a gift. No option to do that.
My lime tree's trunk was snapped in shipping. I don't want a discount of 20%. I feel a return/ replacement would be the appropriate resolutions. The lemon looked good on arrival but looks pretty shocked now. I'm hoping I can nurse it to health.
I'm a repeat customer. I love the consistently great quality over the years.
Ordered a lime tree last Christmas for a gift. The tree has grown and filled out well. No limes yet but the tree is healthy and thriving. My daughter is very happy with the tree and is anxiously awaiting her first crop of limes.
Answer: Cancel your order now before it's too late, go to a local nursery and save yourself some money and unwarranted aggravation, these folks are not honorable.
Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
