Easy shipping and love the reserve feature. Super easy to navigate through the website and to access my purchases.
Easy shipping and love the reserve feature
Product received was as expected with exception to packaging. Was advertised to come in new gifts Le condition with box and dust bag. I expected this to be the Manufacturers dust bag and box which were not included. It was provided in a fashionphile dust bag. This is is misleading and I wish fashionphile would be more specific in their listings
Super easy search function, watch button, and purchasing process.
Ease of use was fantastic - and the quality based on the description was spot on.
Fashionphile is a little over priced but has great products.
The bag was in Like New condition and exactly as shown in pictures. Price was reasonable and shipping was fast. Overall very pleasant experience.
This was a hard to find an item and I was stocking the website for a while. I'm so happy to find it.
I had ordered a few other items off other luxury resale sights and had continued to be dissatisfied. I ordered a bag that looked so nice and too good to be true the price and quality looked amazing! I was pleasantly surprised to find it was even better than pics that has barely ever happened! So happy with my purchase!
I like the packaging you packed the product, looks nice. Too bad the beanie is too small for me... However, I will defnitely come back again to look for something I like.
Superb,
Only almost disaster is that UPS lady delivered it 3 doors down...
She could not read,. The numbers not that it was easy to read., might have barely gone to school pf maths,
Amazing experience
I was looking to sell one my Louis Vuitton bags. After weighing my options I decided that Fashionphile's offer of $400 was the best way to go. While less than I could probably get by posting it on Posh or Ebay, I figured they would pay out faster with no work on my end. I read the disclaimer that they charged $75 to return an item if it was deemed to be a fake but confident in the authenticity of my bag, never gave it a second thought.
Well, I should have because I receive an email stating their authenticator found "inconsistencies" in the hardware, the offer to purchase was revoked, and if I wanted my Louis back I had to send $75. I asked for their authentication report or some other evidence showing to back up the findings.
Long story short, got my bag back, had it independently authenticated, sent that certification to Fashionphile, they refused to refund my $75 or give anything to back up their findings.
I find it suspicious that they refuse to give any backup for their authentication determinations and have no avenue to dispute the findings either. How many people don't pay $75 to have their item returned? Then these people get a free designer item they can turn around and sell for 100% profit.
Something is off here. Be Warned!
I have both purchased from Fashionphile and sold items and have had nothing but great experiences.
Buying:
-Item was exactly as described.
-Arrived with original and extra dustbags
-Arrived quickly. (Their overnight shipping charge is actually overnight. Not handling time + overnight)
-Beautifully and professionally wrapped
Selling:
-They purchased 3 bags total from me and the price was relatively fair. I know they need to make money on the item to be worth it for them.
-I had one bag quoted though that was on the absurd side. They offered 500 for an item worth 2k. I moved on and sold it myself elsewhere.
-I was paid quickly for 2 of the 3. Please note if you don't set up your banking info prior to the transaction, they mail you a check snail mail. That is what delayed my funds on the first one.
I'm sorry to see that others have had frustration in dealing with them, but personally I have not had that experience after 5 transactions.
I buy 90% of my clothes, handbags, and shoes from second-hand stores. For used designer handbags, I have the best luck at Fashionphile. I prefer shopping at Fashionphile because they sell the best quality designer bags for the best price. Fashionphile also has great customer service if you contact them by email. Their phone system seems to be slow but I get quick responses when I email them. I have purchased wallets, handbags, and a briefcase and all of them have been 50% or more off of retail price.
Fashionphile is not upfront about their hidden fees. You have to pay 75 dollars if they deem your item as 'inauthentic'. In addition, they have the rudest, most condescending customer service I have ever experience in my entire life.
I sold a pair of Valentinos after they gave me a quote. It was a gift to me by a relative and I saw her buy it from a Valentino store, it is not possible for it to be fake. After I shipped to them, they sent me an email telling me "there are inconsistencies with hardware and construction", and asked for 75 dollars to ship my items back to me. This is not an uncommon occurrence. I was wary of Fashionphile before due to the abundance of a negative review of this happening.
The even bigger problem was when I called them about my item, the customer service rep outright laughed at me over the phone and told me my item was fake. This wasn't even one minute into the call. Fashionphile customer service picked up my call and the first thing she did when I asked a question was laugh in my face. I tried to ignore it and asked for a re-evaluation of my item. She then told me to provide proof of purchase for the item, which is quite awkward since it was a gift and I can't just tell the person who bought it for me that I am trying to sell their gift. I asked her if there is any other way to provide authentification, she then loud and clear sighed into the phone, and gave me complete silence. She didn't even try to answer my question! I have never experienced customer service like this. This is absolutely the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. If you are reading this, I highly, highly suggest you sell somewhere else!
I called 2 times and still no resolution to be had. I sent in my Gucci Marmont Dec 9th and it was only supposed to take 10-15 days. My bag is basically in their custody and I was never paid or updated. Terrible luxury item company. The quotes are already theft enough, so add insult to injury by not paying for a bag someone entrusted you with and to conduct legitimate business.
I ordered a Louis Vuitton cross body bag back in October. This would be my first "big" expensive purchase as far as a purse goes. Its been about a month and a half and the purse is totally worn. I am EXTREMELY careful with it and it looks as if I had it for years! I feel super ripped off and embarrassed that I trusted this site and will never EVER again. $800 doesn't come easy and I will definitely take it as a lesson learned but will also warn every and anyone looking to purchase from here for future reference. False advertising will always catch up with you but word of mouth is the best advertising and I will most definitely spread the word.
Horrible customer service and I knowledgeable staff causing issues with clients. Very confrontational instead of making a customer feel like making a bad purchase. Would not recommend
I sent them my purse, it's long been sold, and they refuse to pay me. Their system logs every address you've ever had and they mailed the check to the wrong address. Their customer service rep (Corbin) seems to be a fake alias since he doesn't exists on LinkedIn or in any records. After many back and forth emails they still won't mail me a check siting they are unsure of where I live (even though I've had three bags shipped to me at this address). I'm so disappointed in the way they're handled this matter and the disrespect they have for customers. I will never shop here again or refer any more of my friends. Furthermore I've had to escalate the issue just to get paid for a bag I sent them. It's basically robbery at this point. Do not sell your stuff to them!
Hi BB,
At no point did FASHIONPHILE say that we would not pay you, and that of course is not our intention. When you initially reached out, we advised that the check was mailed to the Seller Address on file. Seller Address information is entered by you, the seller. Our Client Services team provided a resolution to your issue from the first email. They stated that a new check would be issued as soon as you updated your Seller Address in your account. Client Services stated that a fee of $25 would be deducted from the reissued amount due to the stop payment needed on the original check; an exception was made and this fee was waived.
This information was provided to you many times throughout the back-and-forth emails. Client Services stated that once you logged into your FASHIONPHILE account and updated your Seller Address, we would place a stop payment on the original check and reissue a new one. Again, at no point did FASHIONPHILE say that we would not pay you. You continued to tell Client Services to make the Seller Address change for you when they explained that they cannot do this due to the information relating to Seller payments and items. Client Services spoke to you via phone and walked you through how to make these changes on your account. Once the changes were made, our Accounting Department began the stop payment process but was unable to complete this because the check had already been deposited/cashed at the beginning of October 2020. With the check already deposited/cashed, we are unable to reissue a new check.
We sincerely hope you will consider selling with FASHIONPHILE again.

Answer: Terri, can you email brandee@fashionphile.com? I looked into the system and can't see a Terri P in the system. We have zero affiliation with snobswap and never have had one. Other resellers do. Is it possible you were dealing with another reseller? We send checks as soon as we check in an item and it is authenticated. Thanks!
