I have purchased an airline ticket, When I rechecked the price in couple of days the prices were reduced and i tried calling customer care for a price match, than they asked me to contact airlines, but the airlines are saying that i actually paid very less when compared to market price today and they said that what ever excess i paid is not for them but for the service offered by faregeek, when i recontacted them, they are saying you should contact within 24 hrs of your purchase and its too late to offer price match and very rude customer service, they don't even care about customer satisfaction and their behavior is like do what ever you want, we are least bother about customer satisfaction. I don't even want to give a one star for this kind of customer service attitude.

Faregeek are scammers! For your own protection do not use them! Last time when I dialled the customer care number I had to wait for a long time. This time, which is 15 days ago when I called up the customer service number I was attended in less than 5 seconds and my issue was addressed properly.
Looks like I got scammed as well. After entering all my info, it just went to a normal page, no confirmation email was sent as well. I tried to book this on a late night (Saturday) and the phones had no response (stayed on hold for 55 min).

Booked a flight for my daughter who is planning to come home from college. Got a good price from faregeek and booked it. A day later received an email saying that they needed me to fill in a '3rd party form' as my daughter did not pay for her own ticket. Obviously alarm bells rang and I called up a few other agents and they said they would need need me to fill out the same type of form. Apparently it is to do with online card fraud as some friends have had the same experience booking for their children. After also checking with friends I sent the form and then received the ticket. My daughter traveled back with no issues. Reading these reviews I don't think that this is a scam website, however I think that a lot more needs to be done to inform people how the system works. I got a good deal but if I wasn't watching my emails then I may have had more problems. Would use them again only for the savings.

Like many others on here, Faregeek cancelled my flight two days before my trip for no reason. I turned up at Newark airport at 5am, having paid $60 for a cab from Manhattan, because the trains don't run that early in the morning. Went to check in, to be told there was no record of my booking. Tried to call Faregeek - no response. Turns out they cancelled my booking two days ago for absolutely no reason (the flight still exists)! Ended up having to rebook with a different airline. I've never experienced such terrible customer service, ever.
I booked a flight to Washington with Faregeek yesterday and when I received the confirmation email for the ticket, the times on my departure and arrival had been changed to dates different than the ones I had picked, causing me to lose two days off my trip. When I called the help number, Faregeek told me the only way to change the ticket to the correct times would be to pay a $350 ticket exchange fee. So all of the sudden my $500 ticket turned into $850. I checked around online, and it seems that several other people have been scammed the same way.
Time and again I have been impressed with the excellent customer service that this travel website provides. I had to take help couple of times and the executives that attended me have been completely helpful.
Booked tickets to New York with Faregeek. They confirmed my seating which was paid in full. At the airport the airline informed me the seats were priority and I had no choose but to pay the extra money. Faregeek had reserved seats which were clearly not in the price I had paid. I have tried to resolve the matter for over a month now and Faregeek have now ceased to communicate or respond to me.
Avoid at all costs. Go direct to the airline.
Need Major changes to your Customer Service toll free number hire more people if you are so busy it takes all day to contact someone!
Once you get through to Customer Service they are very helpful. I spent most of the day trying the toll free number to get a birth date changed for a passenger. I was beginning to panic as this is the first time I have ever booked flights through Faregeek. I was beginning to think there was no Customer Service.At approximately 10 PM I finally got through to Conner who helped me get the date changed and gave me all the information I was looking for. Thank You Conner I really appreciated your help tonight with this.
