Purchased tix for the wrong time. Charged a $23 Convenience Fee. Was told by the live chat operator that it could not be refunded; this is why there is a "review your order" prior to purchase AND if I need to review their policies to click on the link attached. Then when I asked to SPEAK to a manager, the operator said ok, they'll find a manager for me. Then some how i was mysteriously disconnected.
Fandango offers users who have accounts $5 off after every two movies but process for accessing the $5 is very confusing and makes no sense at all. I finally had to call fandango customer service to walk me through the process - which still didn't make sense. They obviously never bothered to do user testing when they set up the system. CSR was snooty and unprofessional. At least the supervisor I talked to admitted they've had other complaints.

I was on a theater's website, clicked to buy tix, logged into my Fandango account, picked my seats, made my purchase and the website bought me tickets at a different theater! Of course they weren't honored at the theater I went to with the kiddos... had to buy them again. Fandango cannot exchange after the movie starts so, SOL!

These guys will loot your money even when you don't opt for the service by charging convenience fee. I would not recommend anyone using this service, as Cinemark and AMC are giving full refund when you cancel the tickets. Customer service is horrible and they don't care about the members. Bogus company.
Just try literally any other streaming service. Had to reload the movie at least 25 times. Took us about 4hrs to watch a 2hr movie. Website is so trash. I can't stress this enough.
I bought tickets and the date they gave me was different from the one I put in and they refused to change it or give a refund. Had to pay again to see the movie in person when I noticed the tickets they gave me were wrong. Completely unhelpful staff that just sends copy pastes of company policy without actually trying to read or understand your problem. Please save your money and spend it anywhere else.

A few years ago I wanted to see "Jumangi: Welcome to the Jungle" I ordered my tickets for the 10am showing, I ended up changing my mind and canceled and decided to see the 12pm showing instead. I never got my refund even after I finally got a hold customer service and she lied telling me my money will be refunded to me in a couple of days. It never came and that was 2 years ago!
Everytime you buy a ticket, you have to pay a bunch of service fees. The "service" you get in return is a joke - long wait times over phone call and chat, unhelpful customer service reps, etc. I bought tickets to see a movie and when I arrived, the theater had projector issues so I was unable to see it. When I contacted Fandango about this, they REFUSED TO REFUND me. They kept the service fees!!!! How can they charge me for a product I did not receive?
Got a free movie rental promo code, punched it in online and it accepted it. Went to rent a movie and said code was no longer valid. Contacted customer support and they said they never give out promo codes. Don't waste your time, you can rent movies everywhere else for cheaper and less hassle.
I've been using the app for a couple of months and on my boyfriend's birthday I purchased tickets on the app. When we got to the theater and I pulled up my tickets on the app the app said "card not charged" so we had to purchase the tickets at the theater. The next day we find out our card was charged. I called customer service and they said there was nothing they can do... FOR THEIR APP'S MISTAKE?!?! You will lose money using this app so I dont recommend at all
We rented a movie it never showed up but it took our money. We called and got the completely runaround! They act like this $5 movie will be coming out of their paycheck. Worst experience ever. We will not be using any of their services in the future. I recommend google play
Owned by Comcast and at&t... convenience fee. Outrageous. Enough is enough... that's why everybody wants to stream anymore

The customer service is horrible! Spoke with an agent and supervisor and they did not want to help in regards to my refund! They even disconnected me from the chat without me replying!
Just another unhappy Fandango customer here. Nothing new. No customer service, excuses, changing stories, and no one who cares about the customer. My strong advice is to go the theater to purchase your tickets and DO NOT USE Fandango.
Your better off buying from the actual theater. Fandango charges about double for the convenience fee.

We bought our tickets, arrived just on time for our movie, but due to no act on our part, could not see the movie. There weren't enough seats for the 10 of us. Our unfortunate situation wasn't evident until AFTER the show time because as the show time approached, we were searching for seats, then we spent time petitioning the ticket office, then spend more time waiting for the manager, then more time as we waited for the manager to search the theater himself, and then tell us he was sorry that there weren't enough seats. I know your "policy" about refunds after the show starts, but this is an apparent and obvious exception. PLEASE REFUND ORDER # WF2T8SF
Answer: Shauna, try Ken's suggestion. After years as a loyal customer & "Fan" of Fandango, I had an issue that should have been easily resolved. When I finally spoke to a live CSR, the response & subsequent email were robotic & useless. I now buy gift cards from the theatres & save my $$ and time. Good luck to you, though!
Answer: You do Julie S., but if you purchase it within 2 hours of the movie you are out of luck and that's what I happened to do. I accidentally chose that same day rather than the next day (Saturday) and since I was within a 2 hour time frame they said too bad. Never will use them again that's for sure. It was an honest mistake and I explained that but the woman on the phone was very nasty.
Answer: I would try emailing them, unfortunately there is no one to call as far as I know. If that doesn't work why don't you try calling a theater near you that takes fandango, ask for a manager. Answer: I didn't wake up with a dead horse in my bed but all other evidence in dealing with Fandango indicate that they are mob-owned. Perhaps the mob has more morals. Maybe not mob-owned. What would be worse than the mob because that's likely who owns them. Difficult question to answer. Best not to do business with them anyway.
