They charged me 44 each moth since Aug for VIP membership! Is there anything we can do to report this scam company? This is criminal and should not be existed already! V angry.
Purchased an item from there didn't like it so sent it back but turns out I've been charged another £44 on top of the rest because It automatically puts you on a VIP membership which is a scam as I had no knowledge of this when checking out/placing my order.
Your lured by all those little ads 2 pairs of amazing leggings them months later they whip £49 from your account they certainly never advertised that part silly thing is I told my young daughter to buy these and she to had £49 from her account its shocking that's not a great offer it's a RIP off I worry for vulnerable people seeing this to Shame on fabletics put this on your every add highlighted so its seen for the scam it is
My wife who is very much into her Gym purchased goods some time ago and unwittingly agreed to the VIP service, as it provided her with a discount on her initial purchase and apparently was given the service on a trial basis. I have now discovered that £44 per month has been taken from our credit card account, as my wife did not fully understand the implications. Although the website does show it's terms, it is clearly banking on the fact that the majority people do not take up the 'so called' offers and do not stop the payment. My wife has now accrued 10 membership points, which I gather she would lose if she opted out the membership. There is no way she would have ever spent circa £500 per year on Gym wear, but it appears we may be stuck with this until the points can be utilised. Also what happens if this company ever goes into liquidation? That will be the money totally lost! Ideally we just want the money back. This practice needs to be made illegal ASAP. Exactly what has my wife paid for? Just a monthly Email!
I tried buying leggings from here. Ordered a pair- got an order confirmation and everything. Waited two weeks and then finally called to see where my stuff was. Apparently my order was cancelled for some reason although I never got sent any email saying it got cancelled (which is absolutely ridiculous). Called them and they said that no money was taken from my account and I said well yes it has. Woman tells me to email customer service with pictures of my bank statement. I email them. Not once mind you but twice- not a single reply. Called them again and they told me that I have been issued a refund and should get one within 48 hours. Of course it has been 48 hours and no refund! This company is such a scam. I got nothing from them- only a bunch of anger and frustration and I didn't even receive an item. I would never ever recommend this brand to anyone- not to mention that whole vip thing which I saw only on my order confirmation email! I am just furious. I demand that they do something about this. Also even if someone was using the VIP thing how could you possibly buy that much yoga clothes THAT frequently?!?
I bought Fabletics outfit because in pictures they look absolutely stunning but in reality the quality is so cheap looking and too small even if one orders a medium. I was unaware that when you order you are automatically a VIP member. I don't remember opting to become one. It was a one time order to check the quality. But yeah, they charge me $49.95 every two months and I read on other reviews (paid reviews I bet) that you can use the savings for ordering more Fabletics outfit but lo and behold when I try to log in to my account, it says the email address cannot be found! I tried to contact Fabletics customer Service (which is the worse by the way since I also work for Customer Service I could tell the worse BS from the good ones) and I only got the automated email and nothing after that! They said it could take five days for resolution but haven't gotten anything from them. It is like they do this on purpose so the complainants will give up and we will just give them our money. Please I beg you women out there. Read reviews first before ordering stuffs online. There are schemers everywhere looking like a legit company.
I purchased two products for the first time about a month ago as i was started university. HOWEVER did not intentionally sign up to vip membership. Fabletics misleading advertisement has cost me £44 a month after every 5th. Luckily i caught it after a month but it is VERY MISLEADING, A SCAM and uses FRAUDULENT TACTICS TO LURE CUSTOMERS IN! STAY AWAY!
Make sure you fully understand what you are committing too. I bought two pairs of leggings for £24 on a special offer and before I knew it I was a VIP member. I didn't realize that I would be charged £44 for one credit at the start of the next month so within two weeks I payed out £66. You can skip a month and this must be done by the 6th but if you forget to check your emails the money will be taken from your bank or pay pal account. I found this quite stressful as the email sent is not completely obvious and it looks like others that are sent from Fabletics with special offers or general information therefore it can be easily missed. Today I phoned to cancel my membership, any money paid will not be refunded so I thought no problem I will purchase an outfit with my membership credit. The representative tried to persuade not to leave but I refused. After the phone call, I went to order an outfit for £44 as this credit was purchased whilst I was a VIP. I was unable to make the purchase and ordered a pair of leggings at £57 reduced to £44. However I was no longer entitled to any further discounts and £13 was taken from my paypal account. When I attend my local gym wearing these leggings, I will make it known that this company is not value for money. Nobody needs to be charged £44 a month for outfits, customers should be charged less and be able to save up and with loyalty scheme. In the future I will use local shops where I know what I am spending, will never purchase from the company again.
I too purchased 2 leggings for £24 only to be charged an additional £44 this month for a VIP membership that I did NOT sign up for. The items are decent and I gave them to a friend for a birthday present as they had previously expressed interest in them. I called the customer service line following the transaction and they were adamant that I 'keep the membership and purchase further items', going on to tell me that I could not be refunded as I should have looked further into the terms of conditions - which, by the way, all magically ended up in my spam folder, despite the order reference and other emails coming through to my main inbox. As the leggings have now reached a grand total of £68 in terms of money spent on them, I find the quality shocking in comparison - especially considering that a family member works for a more respected clothing company that do better quality items for less. I feel that students and other individuals looking for an affordable workout clothing are being cheated out of money. If I could return the items I would. Do not purchase from here.

It has been the worst experience EVER!
Nothing is clear with this brand. They offer you a big discount through the web, so you become a "VIP" and it means that every single month this STUPID brand charge you 50 EURO if you do not block them the first 5 days of the months, and so YES OR YES you must buy new items... The cost of the items MADE in CHINA are very expensive without discount.
Scam based on opted in for membership even though I had requested a guest checkout.
They place the membership in your basket without asking you
Then they take 49£ a month unless you skip
Nightmare
The membership system is immoral. I signed up many years ago under a false advertising that isn't permissible in UK trading with the "sign up before..." and a countdown etc. I naively made a purchase and somehow found myself tied in to the VIP membership. I appreciate that you are able to skip the month but over the many years the membership has been running, I have obviously forgotten a number of times. I asked to cancel the membership at one point and was told I would lose the credit. I did receive a refund of a number of months credit at one point, but they continuously change the terms of the membership without any agreement. Now suddenly the credits expire after 12 months which basically means they take £54.99 if you don't skip the month and then they keep it if you don't buy something. I've realised since this change I've had 6 credits expire which means that they've taken £330 and "expired" it. I don't understand how this can be allowed. I actually have a medical condition which causes forgetfulness and have requested a refund of the remaining credits because I keep forgetting to skip the month, but you get pushed off with a standard response of 'you can use your credit for outfits'. They have another £250 of my money in "credit" so that's nearly £600 that's in their accounts rather than mine, let alone anything prior to that. I have absolutely no issue with the clothing itself and in fact quite like it, but I cannot warn you enough to stay away from the company due to the VIP membership scam. You will lose money with this business model and you will not get it back. I am currently having to go through citizens advice to try and work out a way to reclaim some of my money that Fabletics refuses to refund.
I can only agree with all comments/reviews, NEVER SHOP HERE!
I have purchased products at their website last month with an offer as I have seen this brand coming up on my Facebook and liked the designs they had.
I had actually NO idea that I was becoming a member and was automatically charged another £44 from my account this month.
I have only discovered this tonight as I was checking my accounts.
I shop often online and such a thing never happened. It is very misleading the way they approach you, the wording in mails and how it is all marketed.
It just seems that you get perks and discounts if you become a member but it is not clear at all that you are on a monthly subscription for anything and that they automatically charge your account. The emails I have received afterwards about a shopping credit of £44 which was waiting for me, seemed like that was just a marketing tool to get customers back to the website and I never knew I have signed up for anything.
This is a scam really. So disappointed and sad that so many people are tricked by them. Wil try tomorrow immediately to cancel, but as I read here you can only do that on the phone...
Same as the other reviews - the VIP membership isn't clearly explained.
DO NOT buy from this company. Will call tomorrow to cancel membership, contact bank etc.
I was very excited for my order, and this company in general. However, after my first order, the package had been delivered to the wrong spot. I received no update, and had to go back and forth between the courier company and fabletics. The courier company had to keep the package on hold until fabletics could confirm a new address. Once I went through these steps with fabletics, I thought the package would be coming to this new spot later that week. Instead, I received a second credit card charge for the next full month. Given the lack of clothes the first time around, I cancelled my membership (and was luckily refunded for the second charge).
Two months later, with still no sign of the initial order, I called again. Turns out the clothes were returned to the company, and are now out of stock. So, not only did I not receive an email for any of these issues and have to call customer service each time, I was charged (and refunded) twice, with no clothes ever having been delivered. When I asked the person to just replace the clothes with whatever is in stock, he refused and said I would have to wait 5 days for the refund and start the whole process all over again.
Needless to say, I will not be placing a new order.

I have never wrote a review, but worry for though of you out there that could make a mistake like myself, this company are terrible and robbing, shame because there products are good. You should be aloud the choice to do monthly subscription and asked, not some hidden small print that take 44 pound out of your account each month, then when you try and contact them for help, conveiantly none of the help lines work. WHY ARE THEY NOT BEING INVESTIGATED
I saw fabletics advertised on FB and liked the look of the clothes and so ordered two pairs of discount leggings. When they arrived I was really pleased with the quality but then realised that I'd been signed up to the VIP club which I hadn't realised I'd actually agreed to! Ok so I read the T&C about having to skip a month before the 5th day of that particular month or get billed for £44.00! And thought this won't work for me... I have a hectic lifestyle and am not always up to date with my emails. I kept it for another month and ordered two tops, again brilliant quality, what I don't understand is the harsh agreement policy of taking large amounts of cash from your account unless you have time on your hands to cancel it each month in the small window of opportunity... I have therefore today cancelled my VIP membership now I own a couple of outfits, as let's face it, how many work out clothes do you actually need? I feel the company has made a real mistake in doing this as I would have remained a customer and carried on using their site as and when I needed to... I hate feeling tied down to any agreement and hate to feel like I'm being ripped off... a shame as the products themselves are without a doubt exceptional quality... I shall be looking elsewhere however in the future for further purchases... what a shame...
I cannot afford to pay £44 per month for this and I stupidly did not realise what I was signing up for in the first place as they do not make it even slightly clear. I am struggling to pay my rent at the moment and this has created an incredible amount of stress for me.
It is appalling that the only way you can cancel membership is by phoning up the company. I am self-employed and work very long hours during the week and can therefore only call at weekends. I have now tried phoning up three times at weekends and can never get through. Nor can I ever get through to anyone on their 'chat' service.
I cannot believe it is legal for a company to take money directly from your bank account without a direct debit or a standing order. Surely consumer rights state that we should be able to manage all payments through our banking service.
Eventually, I had to cancel the payments through my bank who I know I can always contact via email or phone at any time.
If anyone is thinking of purchasing anything through them, you might want to read this first: http://www.independent.co.uk/money/fabletics-sneaky-subscription-tactics-add-to-online-shoppers-woes-a*******.html
I have no idea if it is good quality, as it is a Christmas present that hasn't been opened yet... but I was so upset to learn that they had charged my visa automatically! That definitely wasn't very clearly stated initially. Customer service has assured me that the fee has been cancelled and refunded. It better be! NEVER AGAIN AND DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
Does not state clearly enough that you automatically sign up to their VIP membership. I called up and requested a full refund for the first month that they charged me for and requested they cancel my membership which I was assured they would. Two months later, they charged me another £88. I called up AGAIN and was told that in fact my membership had not been cancelled and was made to feel like this was an error on my part. SHOCKING customer service and EXTREMELY misleading.
Would NEVER recommend
