I have now received 5 boxes and am anxiously awaiting my winter 2018 box. I have bought a ton of stuff on the edit sales as well. Have I loved everything, no but it's $50 for a box of mostly awesome things I personally use. What I didn't want or need I have gifted to my daughter or nieces and they have loved the items. I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews. Seriously what do you think you would get for $50? I do think they are having some growing pains since they are growing so much, but part of the fun is getting a mix of products that you probably wouldn't know about or buy on your own. I just sent out 9 sample invites to friends and hope they like it as well. I have had an item come damaged and received a replacement. Questions take more than a day or two to get an answer, but I put it in perspective, nothing I have a problem with is an emergency and it's just stuff. My winter box has been delayed by fedex, I am super bummed but it's not fabfit funs fault. If anything it's their fault that I am so excited to get my box!

Very dissapointed

I was told that FabFitFun was a great company and that I should try it. So today, I went to their website and signed up. A couple hours later I went on my bank account and I was charged THREE different times for things I didn't want. I contacted their support team and they said only 2 showed up in their system and they canceled those 2 but couldn't do anything about the 3rd $50 that I was charged and told me to contact my bank. I contacted my bank and they said it was another charge and since it was pending, they couldn't do anything about it right now. I am really mad and i'm hoping that when it goes through and takes the money out of my account, I can contact my bank again.

Awful awful!

I ordered and prepaid for four boxes. After my first box arrived with a glass shattered French press, it took two months to get a replacement, and it wasn't the coffee pot. It was some other substitute I had to pick. Second box arrives and I had ordered an add on item that was not in my box, and I was charged for. After some rude customer service, I decided to cancel. I was expecting a refund of two boxes I had pre paid. Nope. No refund. So I thought I would just reinstate my subscription, nope. It would cost me $49 to reinstate. I've sent emails but no response. I'm going to dispute the whole charge now. This is a terrible way to do business, but it's my own fault for not reading the super tiny fine print.

BAD Customer Service

DO NOT DO THIS. The customer service is NOT good. I ordered a box on Cyber Monday and it would not arrive by Christmas so I chatted with customer support to see if I could get this earlier as a gift for a friend. Would not budge on the dates and I can't cancel my order because they will not refund any processed payments. BAD on the customer service side. Have not even seen the product yet.

No customization

Very disappointed with the winter box. I ordered a bunch of add-ons but was never given the opportunity for customization. Now I'm stuck with whatever they give me. Tried using the live chat but ended when I realized I was talking to a robot.(His button must have stuck because he kept sending me the same response over and over even when it had nothing to do with the question I asked.) Spring and summer boxes were great, fall wasn't anything special and it's taking almost a month after winter box ships to get it. Not impressed!

I did not receive the Bear Paw gloves and ear muff set I was told was included with the Winter 2018 box. This is the last straw! I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. That was the main item I really wanted. Caveat Emptor!

When i subscribed i was given free sample boxes to send my friends, i shared one with my roommate and she somehow ended up with a full subscription, rather than just the free box. THEN she canceled her subscription because she obviously didn't want it, but she was then CHARGED for the winter box and wasn't refunded because it had already shipped, even though she had canceled a month prior. In all good conscious, i can't stay and support a company that obviously doesn't care about their customers. And personally, the items received were lackluster and didn't impress me; there are PLENTLY of cheaper subscription boxes with better products.

We're sorry to hear about your friend's experience and can see our customer care team has worked with her to help clarify the situation and make sure she is fully assisted! It appears your friend was billed on November 10th and canceled her Membership on November 19th. Canceling your account does not stop the box you've already purchased from shipping out. Cancellations will go into effect to ensure you are not billed for the next season's box.

Also, we're so sad to hear that you weren't loving your Fall Box! All of our boxes contain 7-10 full sized items valued at over $200 but each season is a completely different assortment! If the Fall Box wasn't your thing, we'd definitely recommend giving the Winter Box a try. We're so excited for our members to see what's inside!

I joined about 2 years ago and earlier this year I prepaid for the privilege of being able to choose and customize my box. I was not given any chance to customize my fall box which was not really an issue since I liked what I got. A few days ago I saw people start to talk about the box and the choices on different social media platforms. I went to the website but could not find anywhere to see or customize my box, that is not until today. I got an email stating that it had shipped and when I went on the website and saw what was in it I was PISSED. I really wanted the jewelry organizer and a few other things. But of course it's too late now. I even chatted with someone on the website and was basically told OH WELL BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME! Very upsetting and I am going to cancel, but I"m stuck for now because I PREPAID. I feel like such a sucker.

Beware when you cancel

The boxes were ok. I like that the products were full size vs Birchbox and others sample sizes. After my year subscription was over I decided it wasn't worth the money due to the amount of products I liked vs those I didn't like/use. I went online and followed their cancellation steps months before my annual renewal. Then SURPRISE, they still charged me the annual fee again. No customize your box emails like previously, no your box is getting ready to ship or any warning that I was going to be charged again. So I get online to chat to cancel. She keeps trying to sell me the subscription at a discount if I keep it. Umm, no please just cancel like I have already done and asked 3x now. Then she proceeds to tell me that my winter box is already processing and I will have to pay for it?!?!?! What? I did my part, I cancelled months prior, I should not be held responsible for your error in trying to get another year subscription out of me. I told I refused and I want 100% of my money refunded. After several chat's back and forth she tells me she will send me a shipping label and I can ship it back unopened and then they will give me my $50 refund for the winter box. So, because of their error I am out $50 for the time being and have to track the return and refunds on my account. What a crock and what crooks! When someone cancels they should NOT charge them again and when they mess up they should fix it, not the customer! So if you sign up BEWARE of when you cancel. You can cancel your subscription but your account will stay "active" which means it will still charge you? Yeah, totally bogus. You have to call/chat with them to get your account deactivated and your card # removed because they don't give you that access to do it yourself. Wasted an hour of my life having to take care of it and still have to wait for the box and return label to ship back and wait for my refund.

Not very friendly

One of the customer service representatives cancelled my order without my authorization and when I chatted in to get it resolved, the new representative (Kara) was rude, short, and abruptly ended the chat. I'm still not sure of the answer lol! Very unhappy and will be cancelling officially after I receive th Winter 2018 box.

After spending nearly 20 minutes answering their barrage of questions about likes and dislikes, in which I stated that I do not like anything flowery smelling, I wait for my box. Several weeks later I receive it, open it and go into a full blown allergic reaction from the strong perfume smell that comes from the box. I immediately go to their website to advise them of this issue, tell them I wish to return and get a refund, and ask them why they bothered to ask me all of those questions to only ignore them. I get an answer back within 24 hours that says, "you can return it, but you will not receive a refund" along with "I can offer you another item". Great Customer Service Guys - - Hats off to ya. Thanks but no thanks. So now I am stuck with this stuff, and I can't even open the box to try to sell these things. I will give it away, but seriously, I could not sell them anyway. The Tote Bag they included has marks on it, I specifically said "NO" to electronic items (and I got headphones, of which I have 3 sets already) and the rest of the items are seriously subpar at best. Sample packages of Shampoo & Conditioner. Hand Cream that has Alcohol as the 2nd ingredient. I thought this stuff was supposed to be top of the line. I am so disappointed and will continue to leave horrible feedback whenever possible as long as they do not address these issues I am constantly reading about. It has also soured me from ever listening to any celebrity endorsements about products in the future. I cancelled my subscription immediately. Perhaps I will dispute this with my Charge Card Company.

I kept seeing postings on social media talking about how great the boxes are and after a good while I decided to give it a try. My first box was the spring 2018 box and I was pretty happy with it. It had products I hadn't heard of and things I was excited to use. Then the summer box I was blown away by, I've literally gotten use out of every item in the box. The fall box is where I started to get frustrated with the company. Living in Alaska I have come to terms with the fact that sometimes I have to pay extra to get things shipped here and with that it also takes a while. What I wasn't anticipating was that I would have limitations put on my ability to choose items. Both the fall box and now the winter box had two items I had seen in spoilers that I was so excited to try and come to find out they don't ship them to Alaska. And it wasn't even like the other options were relatable or similar. I get that Alaska probably isn't the main source of sales for this band, to be honest it probably doesn't make a huge difference to them. But if you are going to offer a product to a customer, and give them the impression that they are going to be getting the same products as everyone else is, don't make it so later on a customer is blindsided and finds out they are limited. It's becoming quite frustrating. The one thine I do think they have mastered is their add in period. I'm not sure how they do it but their pricing on add on items is incredible and they've got so much to choose from.

After my first review someone from FabFitFun finally got back to me (recall they often said they would, but did not). They said that the items I prepaid for and ordered were no longer in stock, and they would send some other items and expedite the shipping OR give me a refund (keep in mind I was told before they could not give refunds on items they already processed). I asked several times how, if my box had been processed weeks ago, the items were no longer in stock. As they didn't have the items I ordered any longer I requested a refund--and asked for clarity--again, as to how, if my box was processed several weeks ago, the items weren't in stock.

I got some odd answer about I had been given wrong info, and that when they reprinted the label and went to remake the box, the items were no longer in stock. NONE of this makes sense to me. If the label was the issue from the start--for all these weeks, why didn't you reprint the label and put it on the box you supposedly prepared some weeks ago, which apparently was just waiting to be shipped...? It's quite obvious this label crap is a lie they tell whenever they have issues. I have read it on other complaints as well. How long was this company going to tell me a lie about a label and never deliver the products? And why would I want a bunch of crap I didn't select--again, the point of the prepaid subscription is to be able to SELECT what you want... I personally feel this company should pay me interest on my money they held a year in advance and didn't deliver what they promised.

The only way I got a response was by posting on this site. I am also filing a complaint with the BBB, and would encourage all of you with similar negative experiences to do so as well. I honestly don't see how they stay in business. Of the four boxes, every time something was out of stock, or late... They are sorry so much, they should change their name to that. What really T's me off is that they keep stating the same lies over and over instead of fixing their issues:-(:-(:-(. They should have been upfront the first 4 or 5 times I followed up on my late box.

Do you recall the episode of Seinfeld with the rental car--and Jerry says you can take the reservation, but you can't hold the reservation? That reminds me so much of this company! Like several others have noted below, I paid for a year in advance--and doing so allows you to make selections and pre-pick some items--the reason I paid in advance. There's not one box that hasn't had an issue--either late, never arrived--or, here's the kicker--the item I selected is out of stock... Again, the whole point of the prepaid subscription is to be able to pick the items you will get when there is an option.

Having prepaid--and always selecting my product the first day or so available, I am very disappointed I am still awaiting the delivery of my Fall box. When I followed up by chat I was told they had to reprint the label. Then when I followed up again, I was told they had to reprint the label. I was also told I would not get one of the items I preordered as it was out of stock. Maybe had they shipped/filled my box timely it would not have been. Again, I prepaid and selected my items earlyso whyalmost 30 days later they have not sent the box, I don't know. And note this is 30 days after their posted ship dates. Not after I selected the products which has been even longer. Also, they weren't aware of the issue apparentlyso had I not followed up they never would have reprinted the label. I was provided tracking info and to datedespite me following up 5 times, the box has not moved I have been told someone would get back to me and then they don't I was told they would look into option to ship soonerand then was told they shipped in batches, which is why it has not shipped

Finally, I asked for a refund and was told someone would get back to me by email and SURPRISE, they did not. I believe the label statement is a lie they tell to everyone when they don't have the products they presold you.

Then when I canceled the subscription, so I wouldn't get charged for another yearthe pop-up said it would take a few days to update.? WHAT?

So again, they can take the money and the orderthey just have problems filling it, filling it timely, or filling it correctly. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I would not recommend.

Not worth the price

I ordered my first box which is supposed to be the Editors box. First, it took about 6 weeks to get and when it finally came in, what a dissapointmemt. Not only was the stuff inside the box cheap, one of the items was missin. Cobra Bluetooth wireless earbuds. When I called customer service if the missing item, the girl told me that they do not ship this item to Hawaii. Ok, I'm trying to understand the logistics behind this excuse. You ship a box out that is supposed to have all of the items, why would that single out the earbuds. Total crap. Then the girl tells me that they sent a papaya enzyme peel in its place. Really, probably cost them $5 at best. I'm glad that I cancelled this subscription right away. Don't waste your money.

Would not cancel my subscription when I told them! Even sent me a cancellation email then I got billed again the following month. Don't do business with them. Better off with bed bath and beyond!

HOLY GRAIL BOX

Not only does this box always come with at least ONE amazing item I can't live without, it usually is full of them. Beyond that, the customer service is without equal. I rarely have an issue, but when I do, it is swiftly resolved by the friendliest and most knowledgeable representatives. I didn't get passed from person to person and it felt like FFF truly cared that I was happy. I was, and I am. The only downside is that it's so good I'm going to go broke! Lots of items great for gifting as well.

Amazing customer service

Although not everything in the box was an interest to me, the value of what i did enjoy is much more than what i paid for the box. This review is basically about their customer service. 1st, i ordered my first box in mid august and still hadnt had a shipment confirmation by late september. I decided to wait till Oct 1. On Sept 29th, i received an email from cust service with an apology and a ten dollar credit.
2nd. My sister ordered the free starter box and only wanted the starter box. She was afraid of waiting too long to cancel before being charged for tge next season. So she canceled the following day without any issue. She was suspicious at how easy it was and contacted customer service to confirm. And they did.
3. One of my items came broken and i hadnt noticed till i opened the box almost a month later. I simply emailed cust. Service and tgey replied within hours. They are sending a replacement. No questions asked.
They are simply wonderful and i would recommend to anyone.
