I've been ordering from EZ contacts for years and I've recommended it to family members. Never had any issues. However, this past order's box arrived open. Nothing missing but a bit alarming. I think this was just one unusual case tho.
Website claimed 2-3 days for delivery, no mention of frames being out of stock or delays, its been over two weeks now and my new glasses still have not been shipped yet. Very disappointing experience.
Ordered the products they came quicker then expected and even had a contact lens case which I was about to go buy one. Saved me money. Great quality contacts at a great price and fast delivery. Will be ordering again
I saw that a Rayban frame options online had a "Ships same day" note, so I select it, given my old glasses were on their last legs.
Customer service verified my prescription I input a couple days later, presumably cause I'm blind as could be and they had to confirm. All good.
A couple weeks go by and I'm getting frustrated. Finally, after almost a month after placing my order, it came. Standard issue product, they work. Decent price. Responsive team. Just dang that took a lot longer than what was advertised online and the expectations made by support.
Ordered contacts Jan. 2019 only to find out after weeks of delay, they were back ordered. They do not notify upfront contacts are back ordered. After logging several calls and online requests waited it out and incorrect prescription was shipped. Was advised to ship back for refund and then reorder new ones for fastest turnaround, which I did. I was assured new order had inventory and would ship out express a few days later. Still no contacts 6 weeks later. Call again and told lack of inventory and still have not shipped. Get cut off in mid-call or perhaps he disconnected, no attempt to call me back. Customer service gives conflicting information each time. In between had to place a separate order with Dr office for interim supply and pay hefty express shipping just to get my son something. Way too much aggravation and run around. Regret placing this order through them. Guess it's true, you get what you pay for.
Positive: The order process was straightforward. Typical experience with onsite ordering.
Negative: Submitted insurance information on the side including uploading insurance documentation. Kept receiving emails to follow up on submitting insurance information from multiple different emails. After 5 or 6 emails, I finally responded that I had already submitted my forms online and even sent it to another representative on another email, do not email me again unless it is someone from the management team.
Awesome savings and has the best deals ever! They have a wide range of brands of contact lenses, frames and sunglasses. Just recently bought 10 pairs of Oakley's. I would recommend EZContacts to all my friends.
I took glasses to have prescription lenses put in only to be told that the frame is crooked and not properly flushed once you sit them on counter. They will not sit properly on my face. The arms are not lined up as they should be. They were given back to me and told they couldn't work with them.
Ordered glasses for my daughter in March. She received them weeks later and the prescription was wrong. They added a 0 to one of the numbers and she ended up with a coke bottle lens on one side. Lab didn't think to double check for error considering that might be a little unusual. We paid for expedited shipping and filled out a return slip with a new shipping address. Well, they sent to the wrong address. Now going on 3 months and no glasses and no offers other than, "Sorry, we hope to get it right eventually".Meanwhile, my daughter has duct tape holding her glasses together. One star for the nice customer service rep that was emailing me with tracking numbers as the glasses were traveling hopelessly around the Midwest.
I love my new Costa Del Mar sunglasses. I purchased them at a way lower price than competitors. I received them in 5 days of ordering them weekend included. I gave 4 stars because I don't like that you cannot contact anyone for customer service via telephone but someone did email me back a few days later.
I cancelled an order at a competing site because EZcontacts claimed to have the same frames in stock for delivery in 1-2 days. 2 weeks later, the order has not been updated. I had to contact customer support for an update. I was told that it would be another 1-2 weeks due to unavoidable shipping delays from their supplier. I'm OK with supply chain issues and FedEx's escalating inability to deliver packages in a timely manner. I'm NOT OK with businesses that mislead customers with false claims about available inventory.
Ordered a pair of sunglasses over a month ago now and still have yet to receive me order. I was told the same message as everybody that they're back ordered by 2 weeks, another 3 weeks have past and still no update or glasses to be found. I'd stay away from this site as much as you can. Pay a couple more $ for some glasses on another site. I'll be starting my return immediately
I placed an order on November 25, did not receive until January 3. Package was damaged and disgusting. I never even opened the package. It smells of mold. Contacted customer service and they want me to pay to send the package back so they can replace. Seriously, would anyone put contacts in your eyes that came from a package like this? Takes forever to get a response from customer service. It's as if they can't see the problem with the package. No resolution as of yet. Better of just disputing the charge and never ordering again.
I really hate to make bad reviews because I always try to solve things by talking, but this company really has people who talk very well, it is a shame to hide the real situation of purchases from its customers! Four calls two different people and the same excuses... and to make the refund worse it will take longer than the deadline on my glasses should have been delivered.
I ordered on 1/10/19, was charged on 1/11/19, and am still waiting on my lenses. My order was placed with ample time to process and ship before I needed to switch out my contacts. Now, I have no way to see. Do they not realize that they are dealing with people's vision? On 1/21, a representative told me they would ship from the warehouse in 3-5 business days. Still haven't received any updates. If you don't have lenses in stock, then you should say so on your website. Terrible experience.
Twice now I've ordered from EZ Contacts. Their site should say it could take months for you to receive your order. A paid for a pair of glasses which sat unzipped for nearly a month, then had to hold for 45 minutes to get a refund processed. Then I stupidly ordered contact from them.

The order still is "being processed" and two inquiries have gone unanswered.
I'm starting to think their whole business model is to accept payments and invest the money until customers have enough time to force them to issue a refund.

Worst online eye contacts company in existence. I received wrong prescription for my son and did not realize until he opened one box. I returned order. I was charged for difference in new order. Never received it. Instead I received a partial refund and am now out almost $80. You can never get anyone to answer phone. Customer service is non existent.
My lens have already cracked in three different spots. I contacted customer service and they said since I am outside the return policy time frame by 1 week, they are unable to replace them. They will fix them at my cost plus shipping. I usually have glasses for two years before getting new ones. I should have bought them full price from my eye doctor instead of looking for a bargain. I will shop elsewhere in the future.
Trash company. Who's giving all these reviews? I ordered glasses in September. It is now December and I haven't received them. I been calling and emailing trying to get a refund at least and they ignore everything. Scam operation.
EZContacts is the only place I go to order contact lenses now. Their prices are very competitive. Orders are processed quickly and shipping is fast. I also really appreciate that they are upfront with their pricing. So many other contact lens retailers online will lure you in with a low price and then add "processing" fees. EZContacts does not do that.
Answer: You will wait and wait and wait and maybe have them tell you they are coming and then wait and wait and wait. My advice... don't order from them. There are so many lens companies that are fast and have good follow-up... it isn't worth it!

Answer: You won't get them the next business day. I ordered glasses 3 weeks ago. After 10 days I contacted them for update, they claimed that they are discontinued, no discount or anytghing offered. So I order something else, customer service great, claims glasses will be FedEx shipped next day. Still waiting... it's been 4 days, no update. If you need your glasses fast, order elsewhere.
