Eyeconic has plenty of options when it comes to glasses frames. Along with that, I appreciate that the site integrates with my vision insurance provider to provide an immediate discount based on my insurance policy. You can upload your prescription or put in your doctors information to get your prescribed lenses made. It's a very convenient way to purchase glasses if you're the type to want to shop without someone trying to sell to you, which is preferable to me.

If you got your paperwork from your eye visit all you have to do it's like for a glasses that you like put in the information from your eye doctor visit and place an order. This is the second time ordering. Simple easy fast and better price.

I placed an order in January not using my full insurance balance. I tried to order today and was told the insurance had been used. I had to call and have the remaining put back on my account. I feel this is something a lot of people wouldnt do and therefor they loose the balance. The representaive I spoke with was nice and it was fixed BUT like I mentioned most people wouldnt have called!
The website is very clunky, getting from the VSP site, needing multiple logins, entering the same information over and over. Also, why do I have to re-enter the prescription information when I have to upload a copy? That screams opportunity for error.

I am placing this order for my wife's contact lenses through eyeconic and there are very little promotion codes to use especially when I have to pay out of pocket. I order through Contacts Direct and always have higher discount codes each time I visit the site.
I placed a recent order and was told over a week later that it was canceled due to the picture of my prescription missing the bottom half of the paper with the dr signature. This then delayed me getting my order in time before leaving out of the country. Now i'm placing this order again.
I purchased my contacts this year and last year. I don't have a option for glasses. And these are medically necessary as I'm so near sited in the one eye. So, I have to purchase these. Even with insurance it's almost $1000 for the year!
Maybe it was my Chromebook, but this "fitting booth" would occasionally knock out the camera. I rebooted several times to reset everything. I eventually used a Mini-IPad for the photo fit, then used the Chromebook to order.

I used eyeconic because they are partnered with my VSP vision insurance. However, it's pretty scummy, in my opinion, that they clearly mark up the price of contact lenses because they know insurance is covering a chunk of the cost. The same lenses anywhere else online are $100 cheaper. Just feels like corporate greed to me.

Polaroid sunglasses options seem to be very limited to just a number of different brands. It would be nice if insurance covered more styles.
I have been back and forth with conic and VSP for weeks trying to order contacts. I'm either told that I don't have coverage or that the website is acting up and to try back later. But Iris was amazing and was able to resolve my issues with one phone call. Thank you, Iris!

An order can be incorrect and you are still able to place the order, get confirmation emails, and unclear information about why the order is incorrect. If there is an error there is no way to change the previously placed order - instead you have to cancel and place a new one.
