Subsequently, when my order arrived it was SO WRONG. My progressive eye glasses were the wrong prescription (even though I provided correct information). I could barely see through them! And my "Readers" were progressive when I wanted single focus lenses!
To make matters worse, communication was terrible. I kept receiving emails saying they were sorry I didn't like my "frames". The frames were fine. It was the lenses that sucked!
I'm sure the poor quality in communication is over reliance on automation. I also imagine someone picked up a frame that looked like mine and didn't bother to check the prescription.
In all a disappointing experience.

I heard of EBD through a friend and decided to check them out after my recent eye exam. I was originally surprised at the prices, and as I kept looking, I was even more surprised at how cute the styles were! They even had the option to add Blue Light filtering, which I did! I decided on the Notting Hill. As a person on the smaller side of the spectrum, the size Small fit my face perfectly. I will definitely buy my next pairs of glasses through EBD.
I ordered a pair of glasses with Progressive Lens., Because it was not a physical store where I could try on my glasses, I kept my fingers cross until they arrived. When they arrived I tried on the glasses, and I found that the field of vision for reading was too small. I went back and checked the website and learned that eyebuydirect offers a Premium Progressive Lens with a wider field of vision for reading. I called customer service, and they said that they would be delighted to exchange the glasses and all I had to do was pay the $28 difference. Within two weeks, I had my new glasses, and they are perfect. I will go back to eyebuydirect instead of some less expensive companies because of the superior product and service.
The frames are bigger than the images I saw online and the bifocal area is so low it's almost useless. The frames are pretty though so I have decided to keep them.

The process to order the glasses was very simple. Once you have your prescription, it all goes very smoothly. It's great they even offer to show you where you can get presctiption. I also didn't have the prescription when I ordered, so I just ordered plain lensesand took them to my eye doctor and he replaced the plain lensses with my usual prescription.
If you have your prescription it's a great way to save money and time. The only thing is that the "try on camera" option is often far from reality, but that's the deal, I guess.

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call.
