My first experience so far has been nothing. Short of perfect. Received my glasses in good time, and even though there was a little problem with them, they were quickly replaced. I couldn't say enough about the quality of the service and personal.

I could not glasses with a clip on sunglasses. It says my prescription is not eligible. But it's a pretty straightforward, single vision prescription. No progressive, etc.
I ordered an item, paid for expedited shipping which took 11 days (7 business days) to arrive. To me this is not expedited delivery this is slower than molasses in January.

I have worn glasses for over 20 years. I have never broken any of them. They ones I bought from Buy Eye Direct broke within 3 months. The plastic is too weak to hold the lens. These are stress cracks. Yes, they replaced them. Those broke within 3 weeks. They did replace those. I treated the new glasses so gently. They broke too! I have super glued them to be able to wear glasses. They pair have was wearing today has two super glued spots and the left arm just feel off when I took them off. Super cheap material cannot hold up to the stress of the lens. I thought they might be made wrong but 3 pairs all broke and I have glued them together and then they break in a new spot while I just wearing them. I will never buy from them again.

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
