I've been a customer of EBD since 2016 and haven't looked back since then. I made several purchases of stylish glasses and am always in awe of how convenient buying online has been. The only downside would be that several of the frames I've purchased have loosened over time (within months) and they are easily re-tightened.
I ordered two pairs online. And confirmed the purpose for each of the lenses in the provided box. Then they emailed me 3 separate times, asking me to confirm the purpose of the lens. No matter how I worded it they could not understand me. The long distance lens are for general use, the reading ones are also for general use. They're both for general use. Both are for regular everyday use, because that's what the doctor prescribed. THEY JUST COULD NOT BELIEVE ME BECAUSE... WHAT?
When I finally (desperately) needed my lenses, they came in the mail wrong. I double check what I filled, and no issue. How could they seriously mess up that badly?
I'd like for there to be an option to try just the frames. For example, get a few shipped to me then send them back knowing which will fit just right.

I love eyebuydirect's frame selections, and how dang cheap they are. Yeah, they a definitely an upselling machine writ large - but if you can stomach the process, the results are worth the elbow grease. I haven't dealt with their return policy, so I can't speak to that.
Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call.
