I was pleased in the past with the glasses I purchased from EyeBuyDirect so therefore I am a returning customer and very hopeful I again will be just as pleased with today's purchase.
Ok so I stopped using the regular glasses stores because they are just too expensive. For instance, they try and charge over $100 for things like adding Transition lenses to your glasses, and don't even think of trying to order my preferred style which are rimless transition lenses. Now add on a high prescription index (-7.75 glasses) and I have been quoted $375-$490+ in a store. Even Costco is pretty expensive when looking for this configuration.
So I went online and this website has both good quality and service. I usually expect most online glasses places to sell cheap chinese knock off lenses that fall apart but these did not. I have use 39DollarGlasses.com and this site and although this one can be a few dollars more, I like the options they offer and the layout a bit better.
This site is also not the worst with shipping, the rimless frame was tough and lasted me longer than a year and the customer service isn't bad. They literally give you absolutely no hastle over exchanging a pair or replacing a damaged pair within whatever warranty time (I think its a new months or a year). I had a rimless pair with a broken leg several months after I bought it and I replaced it with no questions asked. All they wanted were some pictures and once I emailed those, they sent out the replacement pair very quickly. To be honest I don't have any complaints except I wish they sold replacement parts for the frames that they carry but I guess that may be too much to ask.

I have ordered multiple pairs of glasses for myself and family. I have always gotten fast service and for the few times The glasses haven't worked because of frame size or an issue with fit i have always gotten a quick fix to the problem. It's hard to judge frames when you aren't actually trying them on and they are truly all about customer satisfaction. The glasses are well made and a great buy. I just bought two pairs today and will continue to shop here for all of our glasses.
I liked that there was so many options to help you narrow down your options. This is my first time ever ordering glasses online. I was quite intimidated. The site made it fairly easy. Have a ruler and your prescription numbers and you will have glasses ordered. Now I will see if they fit!
Good style and good buy; web site a little cranky-could not tell which were available as sunglasses or as prescription sometimes--but I figured it out!
It asked me to go to PayPal before giving me the choice of shipping, so now I'm not sure I will get charged twice or once and whether I'll get the sunglasses.

I just ordered my 2nd pair of glasses from this site. I'm 1st pair is still in good repair. These glasses are more durable and break resistant than some name brand frames I have. I intend to order new frames every 6 months I like to switch up my look.

I bought two pairs of glasses and loved one pair (the St. Michael), and the other pair didn't fit right, so I tried returning them (there is a two week period where you are able to return them) before the 2 weeks ran out, but it was impossible to get in contact with anyone, no one returned my emails. Though I loved one of my pairs, I was disappointed to have wasted money on the other pair due to poor customer service.

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
