I love the ease of ordering online and the try-on feature. I had some glitches while ordering on my iPhone and had to go home to my laptop to complete my purchase. This was not the case the first time I ordered back in July. Chat was not available, so I had to email my questions. It took several days of back and forth to figure out I wouldn't be able to use the iPhone this go around. Also, I received several coupon codes "Just for You" encouraging me to complete my purchase during this time, but none of them worked with the item in my cart.

Just ordered my 4th pair. The only problem I've had is that some of my frames broke, but they were replaced, no questions asked, just had to send a picture of the glasses. Hopefully the ones I ordered today are a little stronger, but I have always been very happy with their service and assistance through the chat line.
I spent forever picking glasses that I actually like then my welcome coupon code did not even work because the whole website is on sale.
When you are a brand new customer you really should honor the coupon even if your glasses are on sale. Such a waste of time.

I greatly prefer to do most of my shopping on line, especially for eye glasses. This site has a good selection of frames at very good prices. I had hoped for better prices on the lens, but I'm sure this site is probably no more expensive than other stores or sites for the lens options I want. All in all I've been very happy with my experience with Eye Buy Direct.

I have bought all my glasses thru this site for at least the last ten years. I only had one problem with the glasses and it was my own fault. I had forgotten to include the - sign on one of my lens prescriptions. I sent them back with the correct prescription and they were returned fixed in about a week after they received them.

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
