When purchasing glasses at the optometrist, I always felt like it's a high-pressure sales pitch. Also, without insurance my glasses there would be unaffordable. At EyeBuyDirect, I'm getting 2 pairs of glasses that have more options (like anti-glare) than what was available at my optometrist.
They have everything from super-cheap to nice mid-range styles with quality lenses. I only buy online now, primarily from this online shop.
The cheapest lenses are of low quality, but they work great and they are ideal for testing whether you got the right prescription - optometrists always get my prescription wrong. The slightly more expensive lenses are of good quality.
The super-cheap frames made of plastic can sometimes break easily. But they are nice and light-weight.

Eye Buy Direct's website allowed me to filter glasses by size so I didn't waste time looking at glasses that were too big, and they had the sizes for each pair listed clearly right up top when you clicked to view. The return/exchange policy looks convenient too. I just wish they had more NON-universal fit options!

I have used this website for many years. Today I was trying to purchase my glasses using the disc code START. When I pressed submit my order, my mailing address was incorrect so I fixed it and the code wouldn't work TO FINALIZE MY PURCHASE. Very upset that I wasn't able to use the code sent by texts. It forced me to order by phone instead of laptop, very uncomfortable to search for glasses, ALLL TO NOT EVEN GET TO USE THE CODE. Very very very annoying.

I have bought several pairs from this website and they are always great, for the price. I am pretty hard on glasses, and 3 pairs have broke. They also fog up easy and have a bit of a glare. But, they are such a great price and always cute. I just ordered 2 more pairs. I highly recommend them, just don't expect them to last forever.

I will never buy from any other glasses store after finding this website! I love it so much and the quality is so great for what i pay for.
Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
