We've been getting glasses from EyeBuyDirect for years now. Always happy with the quality. And once when I didn't like the style I was able to exchange them, hassle free. We've always gotten prescription glasses for well under $150. Try and beat that at your local Optical Center!
First time visitor, great experience. The user experience was well thought out. Had no problems ordering the perfect pair of glasses.
It seems odd that a coupon that is good for 20% off + free shipping doesn't do any good for frames that are already on sale but only a couple dollars off. You should still be able to get free shipping, at least. For example a $50 pair could be bought for about $42 with tax and free shipping yet a $42 pair that is on sale for $37 ends up being $46 with tax and shipping. Why not give 20% off original price + free shipping or at least just free shipping?

You get what you pay for. I have been ordering from Eye Buy Direct for a while now. I never want to drop $150+ on glasses from my Optometrist. Each time I've had the same experience. The glasses usually break anywhere from 2-6 months from purchase. I'm very careful with my glasses (when I'm not wearing them, I have them in a case). With that being said, I really can't expect durability with a low price point. This will probably be the last pair I order. I've done the math, and with multiple replacements per year, I might as well opt for a name brand pair elsewhere.

I was a little hesitant about ordering my glasses on line. I am so pleased with my glasses that I immediately went online and ordered a second pair. I love my glasses and they fit perfectly.
My first pair of glasses were great, so I'm buying sunglasses to go along. Super inexpensive even though I added some extras.
Very easy website. User-friendly will be buying more this way. I have bought in person before but I needed a new prescription when in person so this is way easier.
Overall the frames are stylish. However, if you want quality AND style, you'll still be paying a pretty penny. Cheaper than regular stores though!
Everything was easy till I got to the Pupil measurement. That was difficult to do and someone else tried to help but it was not clear or easy. I guess I will see when I get my glasses.

This was my second time ordering glasses from EyeBuyDirect. The first experience was much better than I expected, and so I came back to fill my new prescription. I liked the original frames, so I ordered the same ones. The only way people will know anything is different is that these are photochromic, so they're also sunglasses. I can hardly wait to try them on.

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.

There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call.
