I bought a pair of bifocals from them. They broke in less than a month. I'm not at all tough on glasses - the pair before, bought elsewhere, lasted seven years. One of the arms broke on the replacement after less than two years. They won't replace the arm (fair, I'm out of warranty) but also won't sell just the frames - I have to buy glasses with lenses in order to replace one arm on their poorly made glasses.

I have purchased one pair prior to this one, same RX. These frames and lens are lighter and not heavy on my nose. They fit well, and are a nice style update, round frame shape. I like them a lot.
Some how I had 4 pairs of glasses in my shopping cart, I had to adjust to get it down to one. Not fun - I had changed my mind about Transitions was difficult to remove that, but when I finally got it out of the order everything went smooth.

I have gone to 3 pairs of broken frames. They just cracked unexpectedly. EyebuyDirect is always willing to replace, but they take forever to process and after the third pair and now out of warranty, i have to buy a whole new pair. Also the lenses developed stress marks in the coating making them unusable. For a spare set that would last the warranty w/out daily use, you can't beat the price, but is not for active everyday wear.
I have bought glasses from EyeBuyDirect for years and have always been pleased. I tried another online provider, but their frames were terrible, so I came back. This summer, after my yearly eye exam, I placed an order for new glasses. I made a mistake when I put the information from my new prescription in my order. The staff at EyeBuyDirect caught my mistake and helped me get it straight. The customer service was way above the call of duty! It's truly amazing when you get the kind of value that this company gives you AND great customer service!

Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
