For the price the glasses are fine, prescription is good. I paid 19.00 for expedited shipping and it took 2 weeks to get my order. I found it hard to get through to customer service for information. When I finally did get through I didn't get much information. If you aren't in a hurry you can get some good cheap glasses. Customer service can use some work.

I liked how easy it was to enter my information. However disappointed in how I struggled to find a variety of lenses for a wide face and how based on my prescription I wasn't eligible for certain frames. Upset that shipping was way more than the frames especially for a 1st time purchase.

So glad to have option of online ordering but it took me days to sort and pick out frames and re-enter my RX info since it would not save, so it was a little bit of a pain.
Tried twice to order 2 sets of glasses. Both time after many days passed, I checked the status and the order was on hold. When I reached out to them they said that either the frame or lenses were not available. They didn't try to contact me I had to reach out to them. I ordered these online, how can they not be in stock but available on the site? Twice this happened. I wouldn't waste my time with this company
I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality of the glasses I received! I paid under $50 for glasses that look and feel like they are made from quality materials. Already they are holding up better than glasses I would get from my old optometrist (who lost my trust and I will not return to). The glasses from my old optometrist would scratch within the first few days after receiving them. I take a lot of caution with my glasses because I want to take care of my eyes and I don't have money to replace glasses all the time. I clean them very gently, set them down carefully, and only ever put them in a safe place when they aren't on my face. The glasses from EyeBuyDirect that I received have left me with the feeling that I don't need to be extremely cautious with them (though I will be anyway). They are sturdy, elegant, and haven't failed me yet in the first week of wearing them.
Great product and price, but took waaaaaay too long to even get out the door for shipping. 12-13 days before I sent a message requesting an update. Only after I requested an update did I get an email back that it was sent out that day miraculously following the response to my email.

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
