My son accidently broke his frames. I was able to purchase just frames (with clear lenses) at a great price and my husband replaced the lenses into the new frame. Not all eye companies allow to just purchase frames. Highly recommend Eyebuydirect. I have always appreciated this company.

Always scratch quickly. With my last order I didn't touch the glasses with anything for the first week, and they still had a small scratch in one lens. I work with optics in my profession, so I know how to carefully clean lenses, but I don't believe these have any anti-scratch layer at all. The lenses now, from an order last month have several surface scratches, despite extreme efforts to avoid them.

When reading the prescriptions OD and OS is easy to tell what you have to fill in, but when it comes to the PD there are 3 types DIST, NEAR and MONO. Well at least on my paper, at least DIST was the only one with a number on the paper so it was easy to fill out but just confused me.
Also can you makes it easier for which frame you can pick a size for?

I spent over $100, it should have been automatic free shipping, I would have liked. And second the website was a bit frustrating, if you hoover over anything, in passing, the drop downs popped up way too much. Also would like an option to see the glasses on ppl, instead of having to hoover over the picture, like choose a feature that will allow me to do that for all.

Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.

There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call.
