I found the website cumbersome and hard to work. I could not find information easily for the smallest of reasons. For example, I didn't know that all sunglasses came with uv tinting. I also didn't like the way it forced certain actions. For example, when I selected PayPal it forced me to pay 30 for shipping! However, with a master card it was free. I purchased glasses on line for the first time from another site. I only hope I"m as satisfied with my glasses as I was with my last purchase. With the way I have to navigate the site I'm beginning to wonder

Website won't let me get this, won't let me get that. One frame (Chilling) wouldn't allow bifocals, but another frame (Bright Side) the same size and lens material did. But it was nearly impossible to find because although it prompted me to filter for the bifocal prescription, the filtering didn't work because it kept showing me the first frame that wouldn't work with bifocals.
Then it coerced me to upgrade to 1.59 index lens material and offered me free UV coating, but it charged me for the UV coating anyway. This is fraudulent business: it's called "bait and switch".
Then the web site interface offered no "confirm/accept" button on the lens and coating selection the way it does for other choosing pages and I spent five or ten minutes trying to figure out what to do before I just hit "add to cart" and verified that it had recorded all my selections in the last screen.
The order screen doesn't reflect the default included coatings so I have no way of knowing whether they'll really apply them, nor do I have a record that I actually even ordered them.
I've been complaining about these same problems for three or four years running and they do NOTHING to fix them. They just keep adding more complexity and less selection and higher cost.
Oh, and I did try to get help for these issues, and the chat put me on a perpetual hold. It kept saying my wait time was 3 minutes 23 seconds, and repeated that same number every two minutes for a half an hour until it finally gave up.
It's almost to the point where it's so expensive that I'm going to take my business elsewhere to avoid the constant hassle that using this site causes.
In fairness, and to justify the stars that I gave it, my glasses have always been made well and come on time. Once (among the 10 or 15 glasses I've ordered over the years for myself and my family) a frame was broken and they promptly put in a free replacement order.
I just wish they would fix their darn web site and stop jerking around the customers with limited selection and "gotchas" with bifocal and polarization limitations.

Ive ordered about 6 pair of prescription glasses and always great service. With prescription and CC saved my order took less than 5 minutes. Watch for great discounts and pay hundreds less than retail name brand glasses.
I bought similar style glasses few weeks ago but the glasses didn't not stand up to its expectation and the manufacturing was so bad that I had to send it back. The second pair with another company I bought was great but I didn't like the frame, I am hoping this turns out to be that pair.

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call.
