Best way to shop & buy eye/sun glasses. I've ordered 9 pair. One pair needed to be sent back in exchange from progressive to bifocal. Another pair, the frame arm broke. Both returns was FREE without hassle.

It has taken me a year of trying to convince myself to buy glasses online. I hesitated so long because I thought there must be a Vast difference in quality of the product due to the price difference... but after pricing the deals at the more traditional Eyeglass Retail Stores which averaged over $900 for 2 pair compared to the $230 price for 2 pair of EyeBuyDirect glasses I Very Nervously took the plunge! My other hesitation was over how long it might take to receive my order... AS OF TODAY ALL OF MY FEARS WERE SHATTERED as of today Aug. 28th, SEVEN days after placing my order I received the glasses. THESE PROGRESSIVE LENSES actually feel More correcting of my vision than any pair of glasses I have ever owned. Excellent Price and Product.!
I was confused as to selection of sunglasses. I thought I could just select my current style and make them sunglasses. Doesn't seem to work that way, hoping what I ordered works.
So far I don't have to speak with customer support because I don't have an issue. Prices are nicely acceptable, much lower than I find elsewhere, I can usually find a cool frame I can live with, NEVER pass up a coupon discount.
Used the try on feature, but glasses appeared at the top of the picture and could not be adjusted. May have been operator error as this was my first time using this site.
I have gotten 6 pairs now from this company and each time I have received my glasses in a timely matter, in nice cases, and whenever I have had a problem they are super quick to fix it. Love each pair I have bought (especially since I change my look like twice a year). 10/10 for them!
Very pleased with my purchases. Quality frames, lenses and service at a fraction of the cost of the brick and mortar stores. There was an error on my distance glasses which turned out to be MY mistake. EBD replaced the glasses at no charge and paid the shipping to have me return the original pair. That is going beyond, in my opinion. So happy with my prescriptions that I've ordered a second pair of my readers for my purse. Love this company and highly recommend there services.

Good selection of frames and lenses. I was trying to order a duplicate pair of glasses with identical specs. While the order history has all the details of prior purchase, I was not able reorder the same item without having to go through the painful process of filling all the details. This process could be simplified for reorders.
I have been buying glasses from IBD for several years. I had to try out various designs until I settled on what works, but that's online buying and I have no complaints. The Help functions however are completely inadequate. The chat function starts by asking for an email and then results in an email 3 days after attempting to use it. Email contact is no quicker. Bottom Line--inexpensive (and cool, sometimes really cool) glasses but be sure of what you want because there is no help. Probably that is the price for "inexpensive". Works for me, but then I used to buy at Lens Crafters.
I am so happy with EyeBuyDirect. I started buying my prescription eyeglasses a few years ago from this website. I do have insurance through work who gives about $200 annually towards glasses or contacts so I always use my insurance towards yearly contacts, and ask my eye dr for my eye glass RX & order them from here! They come right in the mail & I've never has an issue. =)
