My wife bought a quad fold bed cover for me for Christmas for my new 2021 gladiator. After finally getting to install this product and a couple of weeknights of figuring out how everything should work, and watching videos, I have come to the determination that it is a generic bed cover and won't work without a multitude of modifications. I called customer service, and yes they were very polite, informed me that I could return it for a swap ( but shipping was package cut open and disposed of upon opening). So cost to purchase shipping materials and I was told I am responsible for shipping costs, I am just out my $ 800.00 and my gift from my wife. So, my advice is check with multiple companies and seee if they agree that a same product will fit. I am shopping elsewhere as I will not give more of my money to Extreme terrain.

They stole my money.

They send me the wrong part, then they schedule wrong the day for pickup their wrong part and it got stolen, now they they don't know what to do and don't want to be responsible for their actions... this started on November and they are just playing games with me. Don't be expensive stuff from them because they will not help you back. I did talk to them everyday but nothing.

Incompetent

I ordered a wheel and tire package with TPMS sensors. They mounted and balanced the tires on the rims, and then shipped the TPMS sensors separately, so now I have to take the tires and wheels to a local shop to have the sensors installed. Really? Stay away from these clowns! Complete waste of time, and it will now cost me more than if I had just bought locally to begin with.

False advertising

I was told 3 day delivery on some Jeep seat covers. They arrived 30 day later. ""30""
I called and emailed several times. The reps have no sense of urgency and genuinely do not care about your issue. They sent another box after 30 days and then an email threatening to charge my Visa for a second purchase unless I drove to a FedEx store and sent them back. I sent both back, waited for another week for the credit and purchased the covers elsewhere. Terrible service.

Over 1 Star, that's comical. These guys can't get their fingers unlodged from their behinds. The last order from them was missing parts and took weeks to resolve. The next order showed in stock and get in 5-7 days. Nada! No email no order no call. I contacted them and a ticket was opened. I contacted them again 3 days later since the agent said they would contact me in 24-48 hours and never did. The next agent to my surprise cut and pasted what the last agent said. "I'll open a ticket and we'll contact you in 24-48 hours". BS. Please ladies and gentlemen, save yourself some time and heartburn and find your parts from someone else. I have 100 percent fail rate with Extreme Terrain.

I wish I would of checked the reviews before I ordered from this trash company. It has been almost a month and I still have not received my bucket doors I ordered. As a matter of fact the doors have not even been shipped out yet... so it will be well over a month before i receive them. I just contacted Extreme Terrain and they said my order was pushed back but I never received an email letting me know it was pushed back and I would not receive them for Jeep Week, which is the reason I purchased the doors. Summer will be over before I receive my doors... I will NEVER order from here EVER again!

Last year I ordered some pegs for the jeep, and unfortunately it was during the riots of 2020. Sales center said it was shipped, and it stopped in a state I can't remember for two weeks. Figured it was lost. I contacted customer service to no avail for a week, then they said it was out of stock. Eventually they got it shipped out to me.

I'm all about second chances. I ordered a Teraflex 9550 stabilizer, shipped next day and delivered two days early.

I hope this company continues to improve because I will definitely be back for more parts.

This place is a JOKE!

Bought my son mounts for lights on his jeep. Purchased them in late November and his birthday was not until March. Opened the box on his birthday and one of the mounts was disfigured. Called to see if they would send out a replacement and was told no, it was over the 30 days. Never will do business with this place again if they can't stand behind their products. Wish I would have read these reviews and saw that they have a 1-star rating before purchasing. BUYER BEWARE!

I purchased a barricade bumper from extreme terrain about a year and a half ago LED lights are already failing due to inferior product and bad seals on the lights. LED lights should not go out this quick. I've had problems with extreme terrain in the past I will no longer purchase anything from this company their parts are inferior for any vehicle that you would like to fix up or make it look nice do not buy from these people I will not Refer anyone to this company for aftermarket parts or products very very poor

I have spent a pretty good chunk of change with these people in the past year or so, and most everything has gone well except for side step rails for my Jeep. I own a hunting and safari business here in Tennessee. I take clients to Africa, Alaska and Texas and have several 4x4 auto's including Jeeps. I got a set of step rails from them that were from Red Rock in a 3" tube steel that was powder coat black. The instructions called for install on the driver side first which went great and looked great, but on the passenger side I got three bolts in the rail at the bracket but the fourth threaded insert was just spinning around and would not take the bolt to tighten it down. It is alot of work to put these damn things on if you have ever done it. You mount the brackets first and then line up the rail to screw to them. When I called Extreme Terrain to let them know abought it, I told them all I need was the Right side passenger step rail and That should do it. I would send back the defective rail. Nope, They wanted me to send both rails and hardware back for credit and wait for a new set to come in. Thats nuts, I wasn't going to go back around my jeep and take all the stuff off to send back when all I needed was One rail. I don't have the time to work for extreme terrain for free and make my clients wait. This is not the first time I have had issues with this company, but the results were the same; no service after the sale. I will tack weld the rail to the bracket and Never do business with extreme terrain again. The biggest thing with me is service after the Sale. Taking care of the Customer. Thats why my clients come back to me time and time again. I will fill with the BBB, buyer beware here. Terry L. Spencer.

I have been using Extreme Terrain for about 6 months now and have spent a lot of money. I have never had a problem with them and even got the back ordered rear bumper in under 10 days. Called them a couple of times and I thought they were friendly and helpful. Love this company

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST EVER.MY REAR SHOCK IS LEAKING. I CONTACTED THEM 3 WEEK AGO I'M STILL WAITING FOR A CALL BACK OR A EMAIL. THE SHOCK IS ONLY 8 MONTH OLD THE WARRANTY IS GOOD FOR 3 YEARS. I SENT PHOTOS ASPER THERE REQUEST.IM STILL WAITING!

I ordered my boyfriend a lift kit for Christmas and due to it being middle of winter we didn't open the box to risk loosing things so we waited till summer and as we pulled the vehicle apart to start the kit was missing multiple pieces!
I called and they told me there's ABSOLUTELY nothing they could do about it because it's been past the 30 days. Not only did I spend over 500$ for a kit that has missing pieces but the pieces that were missing can't be bought separately. So I not only loose out 500$ I loose out on the entire product.
These people are god awful to speak with and no help at all what a waste of money

I made 2 orders from Extreme Terrain. I called and spoke to their "expert enthusiasts" for both orders.

The first order was a lift kit. I spent roughly 30 minutes on the phone discussing lift kits with the rep. I called them because the kit I wanted was listed as not in stock on their website. He helped me find one that was in stock and ready to ship. A few days later, I logged into my account to discover that the lift kit doesn't ship for 3 weeks. When I called them back they told me their website doesn't update the stock properly and they may or may not be able to cancel my order.

The second order was for a tire. I found the tire on their website and called to speak to their rep to make sure the order was correct. We made the order and I went to bed happy. I checked my account the next morning (11 hours later) and the guy ordered the wrong tire. I called to change the order (11 hours after making it) and they told me "the order is locked and we cannot cancel it".

This company is the reason Amazon is going to take over the world. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
