I couldn't take the squeaking and tire slamming and was about to just remove the spare all together. I didn't want to spend close to $1k on a carrier. I saw this one and all the reviews and thought I would try it out. So so so happy, absolutley no squeaking. It you hit a really really hard bump there may be a noise from the tire but still nothing like before. This is 1000% the way to go for tire carriers, wish I did it sooner!
