Horrible

I ordered from Express on line once before and they tried to ship my package to Alberta when I live in Briitish Columbia, how this happened is beyond me. I thought I would give it another try guess what again being shipped to Alberta, so now I have to wait for it to get returned then have them fix their mistake. Worst experience ever, they should not have an on line shopping web site. I should have read the reviews first.

Terrible Shipping

I ordered online and selected 5-7 business days. At the end of the 7th day I checked on my tracking number to find that the order was delayed and was going to take another week, plus a holiday weekend. Customer service was unapologetic and did nothing to help. They should have offered to reship the order and two-day it to me. I will never shop with them again when I can have free next day shipping from other companies. They are overpriced anyway.

Customer support is a nightmare, they keep giving me the runaround and make promises that they can't fulfill. On top of that the website is slow AF. Definitely a terrible user experience. Do not recommend this brand. Really got to fix their sh*t. MAKES ME SICK TO MY STOMACH...

They charge for returns. And when I opted for an exchange for a pair of jeans that was in stock. They disregarded it and said that they would be sending an EGIFT card... It's been a week and still no egift card. Customer support keeps saying it will come in 24 hours. I've spoken to 5 different representatives over the past week and they all say the same thing making the same promise, but nothing to be seen. How incompetent can they be? Express, y'all need to step your game up... seriously. I won't be coming back and won't be recommending this brand at all. Highly disappointed in you guys.

Sat on hold for almost 20 minutes after getting an email stating my package was going to be delivered after Christmas, despite their website stating otherwise. Finally got someone who basically said that sucks for you. Asked for a manager. Had to fight for that, hold for another eternity and get a manager who tells me I'm out of luck and that I was supposed to change the shipping method, which wasn't clear. At least 10 times he said it was unfortunate that most of my daughters xmas presents won't be delivered until 2 days after xmas, but it was my own fault. Entire call was him explaining to the customer (me), how I am wrong. He kept talking over me and interrupting, so I finally raised my voice to be heard over him. I asked him 5 times for a return authorization of some sort and he threatened to hang up on me. I will never do business with Express again, and every single item I've bought recently (which is many), will be returned.

Lack of seriousness and professionalism

Disappointed in the way you work on your promotions. These people offer offers that they cancel after taking the money from your bank and you complain to them and they only tell you that they are sorry and that they will refund your money, I did not want my money, simply what I bought and they cynically cancel it, my advice to others buyers, don't think they appreciate you, for them we are a business, for my part I never go back to them, let them keep their points there are many businesses to buy

I went to express store in Potomac mills, Virginia. I wanted to buy some jeans that were 39.99 and50% off from that will be 19.99. The manager is the one that ranged me and my total was 27.99. It did not make sense so I questioned it. And he did not like me questioning him. He said that somebody else has changed the tags yesterday. The pants are supposed to be 54.99. So I'm trying to tell him that the whole line of jeans back there is 39.99, its not just these pants. But he want even listen. He kept cutting me off and was very rude while talking to me in front everybody else. I felt so embarrassed. I will never go back to shop from that store for this experience. Though, the only thing I regret is not getting his name.

TERRIBLE SYSTEM

I ordered a dress from Express paid for a 2 day shipping by that night they sent me an email stating my order was cancelled. I called to question why, they stated the dress was out of stock, I said miss it is still showing in Stock on the website 24 hours after my order. She stated that the website will show in Stock when the item is out of stock. They also stated that it would take up to 5 business days for my money to return. I will never order from them ever again

I bough the editor pants size 4 at the store in mall of Georgia. Came back later to returned and the man told me can not return because the tag belong to the short or something. Unbelievable, and after that he took of the tag from my pants and threw it away. So RUDE, never seen anyone like that before in that store

My favorite store for clothes! They have all types of trendy clothes from dresses for going out to business blazers. Most of the jeans I own are from Express because they fit so well. They always have some kind of deal or special, which is awesome.

Don't shop Express

I wish there was an option for no stars! This is the WORST experience I have ever had with trying to get PANTS! Size 4 Black pants seems to have been out of stock since September. When I finally ordered them on Oct. 31 I received all my dress pants on November 9th. Well the Black pants were damaged! I go to get get an exchange but over the phone. Now it shows my order was cancelled. But says it was cancelled because they were not in stock! Are you freaking kidding me! The worst place ever!

I ordered 4 items that were on sale and the total came up to be around 140 dollars. Right after I input my payment info, suddenly my total changed to 280 (sale items became full price) and I was charged all of it! I contacted customer support and they said they couldn't sort it out via email, that I needed to call them. It is too much of a hassle, never ever again will I ever buy anything online from them! Such a shame because I love the brand.

I got a $40 reward from Express for my birthday and I ordered clothes online to take advantage of it. However, I was not able to apply the reward at the website. For this reason, I called Express right away and the person who answered me told me that she was able to see it and she didn't understand why I couldn't apply it online. Then she said she would email the people processing the order so they could give me the discount but it never happened. I just called again because I have to pay the bill and the discount doesn't show in my statement and the only thing they said is we are sorry but we can't help you... oh but shop again because now you have $30 reward.
This is a way to deceive customers; therefore, I won't be shopping again.

Express offers great styles, and if you wait for sales, the prices are reasonable too. But lately, things seem to have gone downhill with the brand. I had multiple in-store experiences where the store seemed seriously understaffed and they had teenagers (the manager's kids maybe?) helping. They didn't seem to be trained and had no clue what they were doing, so I doubt they were paid staff. I also ordered items online that I planned to pick up in the store, which were never prepared for me. I got an email confirmation that the items are ready for pickup, yet when I went to the store, the staff claimed that they never got my order. The store was in an incredible disarray, so my guess is that they were just too overwhelmed to deal with online orders. I am also having issues receiving a refund for items I returned weeks ago. The in-store staff member handling the return seemed very confused about the process, so he probably messed up something. Now I keep contacting customer service to get that refund and they keep telling me to wait because refunds take time. Today, three weeks in, they finally confirmed that the refund was never initiated and they will initiate it now, but I still have to wait another week and a half before I get my money back... if I get my money back. I may still need to call a few times before they finally process it. Such a mess!

I purchased a suit from Express Clothing in Roosevelt Field mall in Westbury/ Garden City NY as a gift. So I removed the tags and boxed it as a gift. The suit did not fit the person so i attempted to return and I returned within the allotted time frame on the receipt.
They did not, with a condescending tone, allow me to return the suit which was in perfect condition
Make sure you fully understand the return policy of any store.
I will never shop at express clothing again

I purchased a pair of leather leggings while on vacation in New York City got back to the hotel and notice the security tag wasn't removed. Didn't have time to take them back to Times Square so took them to the closest Express when I got home which is over an hour away. They claimed their security tag were a different size so they could not remove it. Called customer service to to see if I could send the pants back and get a new pair. They opened a report and said someone would call me in 3-5 days. 2 weeks and nothing.

I've never experienced such terrible customer service. I called 1 minute after placing an online order and forgot to add my coupon and I was told it's too late because it's already out in step 2 being shipped in a matter of a minute and I couldn't cancel the order either ( wow such fast service) she never offered any other options because she was carrying on other conversations while I was trying to explain my issue. I actually felt that she hurried me along to continue her conversation on the other end. Express you just lost a customer, fix your customer service or you'll lose more business. With the prices you charge your customer service should be more courteous.

If you can't make a payment they will tell you that you need to suspend your account and make $10 payments at a 10% interest rate. I spoke with someone during the government shutdown - and they were not customer loyalty friendly at all especially not on the Express side. Mind you comenity bank services both Victories secret and express... do not do business with this company they are obviously in favor of building a wall.

Well, I used to shop here all the time. Pants were great, portofino blouses were my favorite. The last time I ordered online, I was unhappy with my purchases. Well, this past week I went to the mall to shop there. What HAPPENED? Suddenly, the store looked like it was filled with cheap, inferior clothing but the prices were far from cheap! $69 for dress pants. None that fit! They were either super short, too long, and the waist was so tight. I went from a 2 to a size 4, but the waist was the same. Express has gone down in quality BIG TIME. I was there for almost an hour, and found nothing! Guess this store is off my list!

Ordered from them online on the 12/01/14 and paid extra for two day shipping. It is now the 6th and i haven't received any of my items. I emailed express to get a refund of my $15 on the 5th since they didn't arrive in that time frame and i am still waiting on my items. Here is my order confirmation in case they see this email before they respond to the one i sent them yesterday on the 5th. *******

I love Express clothes. They r cute & fashionable. Their jeans fit the best of any that I can find. I have been shopping at Express for years. I will continue to shop there. They also have really good sales & I like getting my Express Next points!
