Scamming thieves

I had a pending $15 reward. Emailed them to ask whennit would be usable. They replied they dontbknow what im talking about. Sign back into the site and its GONE! Thry stole money. Class action lawsuit will ensue, $#*! YOU EXPRESS YOURE GOING DOEN YOU MESSED WITH THE WRONG $#*! I WILL DESTROY YOU YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO I AM YOU SCAMMING $#*!TARDS

Purchased about $150 worth of items on my Express card 2 years ago. Moved soon after (fwd my mail to my new address). I never received a bill or any notification of money owed. 2 years later, I'm suddenly receiving spam calls, over and over and over, over a two day period - called back and was told I am being sued and taken to court, that my wages will be garnished and that I have to pay $3,000 plus THEIR court/legal fees or a warrant will be issued. They also acquired the cell phone number of my father, who I don't live with and has nothing to do with me and started harassing him.
I regret that I forgot about the bill (that was my mistake), but:
1) $150 debt turning into $3,000+ or Lawsuit is MAJOR overkill
2) The card has been cancelled for awhile now
3) Obtaining the phone number of my relatives is ILLEGAL
4) Lying to me about wage garnishing is also ILLEGAL (and they can't just do that)
5) Not sending me any notifications (or possibly sending it to the wrong address - not even my old one) is poor business
6) Threatening me with lawsuits over a $150 debt when I have had the same phone number (Which they verified that they had on file) this ENTIRE time and never received on single call from them, is utter nonsense.

Sad that a good store like Express has turned so nasty over my mistake of forgetting a small debt to them (one that I was more than willing to pay until they started getting illegal). I'm contacting a lawyer.

Out of Line.

I purchased a shirt at Express in Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga a few days ago. I shop there alot since I work up the Street at Macy's. I took the shirt home and found I did not really like the look, so the next morning on the way to work I took my little bag and went back to Express to exchange it. I'm in my late sixty's but was dressed quite nice and holding only my purse and the lttle bag. While I was looking threw the shirts, one of your assoicate kept watching me and finally asked if she could put the bag on the desk till I was done. What the hell I was not going to steal a 39.00 shirt and I'm in there 2 to 3 times a week. Peope just looked at me. I felt foolish. I exchanged the shirt and told your assoicate that I felt she was rude and I would never bring my business back to your store. Maybe they should watch for people who really steal. I've worked in a corporate office for over thrity years, and took a part time job at a nice dept store, This is out rages. Keep you cheap clothing.

I live in Canada. Ordered 2 shirts because you spend $50 you get free shipping. It kept saying my address was wrong so I called and they couldn't do my order because I'm in canada(update your stuff honestly) so we had to go through a million things to make it work. Then I order, $67 my total comes to. Fine, perfect. Loved the look of the tops! Now I go check my bank account they took $90! UNBELIEVABLE! So I email customer service because it was never changed and I firmly believe I should have only paid $67 because that's what it said it was. And the store in square one (Toronto) was the same price as these tags state but they didn't have my size- imagine that. If they had my size I wouldn't have this ordeal! So they tell me I should have paid $87 with the currency exchange. But I had to pay some bulls*** international fee also that I've never even seen before! They are CROOKS! I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN! After reading the horrible reviews trying to return online orders I don't even want to send t back because I probably won't even get my money back and I'll have 0 clothes too! DONT BUY FROM THEM EVER! ESPECIALLY CANADIANS!

We stopped by the UTC store in December to return a couple of my boyfriend's items that he got online (didn't like quality). I picked a couple tops for myself instead. The fitting rooms were closed because of covid, but they told me it won't be an issue to return/exchange it if it doesn't fit. I agreed. Today I went to Mission Valley store to do the exchange, they looked at my items, confirmed that I can do an exchange. I picked up some jewelry instead since I didn't want to bother with sizes again. And the jewelry was buy 1 get 1 free. After waiting in the line, the girl at the register told me that the computer system won't let me do an exchange for jewelry that's a bogo, no matter the price, and I'd have to pay for each piece separately - full price - that's after we already previously paid for those items and the jewelry is on sale! Why can't I get the sale price when I'm returning the item I already paid for and never had a chance to try on because your stupid store is open for business, but closed the fitting rooms?! I already spent the money, can I just get something that actually works for me? The manager who said her name was Shelley, said she can't help me either. She looked may be 20 years old, she was very rude too. I asked to put my items back in the bag. When I opened it, I found only one top out of the two I had. I asked for my other item, the girl at the register who originally started processing the return gave me some black pants size 23 (I'm size 0). Can this be any more ridiculous? I finally found the second top I had and left the store. NEVER. EVER. Coming again. And that's after 15 years of being a loyal customer.
Also, Shelley gave me a card to call their 'customer service line', which is probably a nice way to kick the upset customer out of the store, because when I called them, the person picked up the phone asking how they can help, and when I explained the situation, they just hung up on me and switched me to an automated customer satisfaction survey. What's the point - to pretend you actually have a customer service line, when you don't?

I stopped shopping in Express a few years ago when I felt like the quality of their clothes were going down. But I started again these past few months when my friend recommended their pants. I bought some online and unfortunately when they arrived, they sent me the wrong size for one of the pants. I went to their actual retail store to return it because i didn't want to pay return shipping and was told that I couldn't return it there because the SKU (?) tag didn't fit the one in the shipping slip. So I was told to call their customer service number instead, and the lady at the store told me that it seemed to be happening quite a bit recently, wrong sizes being shipped out etc.

Anyhoo, I called them and the customer service lady was really friendly and helpful and immediately sent out the right size for me with free shipping and gave me a label for free return. I liked that I didn't have to wait till I shipped the wrong sized pants back and wait for them to acknowledge receiving it before I got my right size, this is how customer service should work. Nothing is perfect and I understand that shipping staff make mistakes too, but it is how the company deals with the problem that determines how successful they are in retaining their customers. Unlike the Ideeli site that I was shopping at, it made a huge contrast!

Clothes-wise now, the pants and top I received were much better quality than what they were 6-7 years ago when I last shopped there and their cutting was much better with the sizes very standardized, which helps, because no one wants to buy and return, buy and return... wastes time and money. I used to buy most of my pants from Victoria's Secret, but because their sizes are so inconsistent and their cotton pants can shrink a full size after a few washes, I am sticking to Express Pants from now on! Way to go Express for improving everything!

I like shopping at Express. Have been for years however, I am trying to avoid shopping with them due to marketing issues. EVERY SINGLE TIME I buy something in the store, I give them my phone number for the express program, I start to receive emails. I think that when the cashiers are checking out customers, they opt the customers to receive emails in WHICH I NEVER HAVE BEEN ASKED to receive emails and once I get these emails, Express sends ALOT OF THEM. I have the same issue when ordering online with them. I MAKE SURE I click on the box THAT SAYS NOT TO RECEIVE EMAILS BUT I STILL RECEIVE EMAILS when I order online. This is my issue that really annoys me is once I receive these emails when shopping in person or online, I keep on clicking unsubcrise and after months go by & clicking on unsubcrise, I still receive emails from express. I actually couple of days ago, cancelled having an express program with them due to this reason and really try to not shop here because of them using my email WITHOUT MY CONSENT.
