I am so sick ofbtryingbto deal with this company. Overcharge evertime. Even had to send me a $500 check for overcharges. I have a tier exception on one medication. My doctor fills put pages of paperwork and submits every year after my physical. Express Scripts never gets it right. I spend hours on the phone and finally get it resolved. I am just going to go without this critical medication rather than listen to their excuses for over billing.
I have had my doctor's office has call in a prior authorization for a medication and they keep saying they never got it. They have called in many times. My calls to customer service result in denials they have received the authorization. Now who should I believe? Dumping this worthless company come open season. Going to go to Amazon pharmacy
I paid for a script on Acredo, and Express Scripts charged me too. I called Express Scripts and asked why, and was put on hold 40 minutes before being hung up on. I ended up reporting fraud. Watch you credit cards if you deal with Express.
Express Scripts mail order has no star rating for me. I received 90 day supply on 2 of my medications w/o asking them to fill the prescriptions, andwhen i ordered my refills i was told i needed a prescription because one of my medications was not on file, but i was able to place an order online and see my prescription had 3 refills. This does not make sense. I called and spoke with a customer service representative, who was useless. I was informed by her i was being penalized for using retail and not using mail order. She could not even transfer the call. I called again the next day and was told i needed a prescription since there was no order. I had to select 1 star in order to save.
These losers screw up so many refills it is unbelievable. They are just tossing out perfectly good prescriptions. All the while bombarding you to switch other prescriptions to them. Cardiac patients don't need this kind of stress.
ES sucks. I didn't order meds but they shipped any way and charged me $240 for 2 meds that only cost me $75@ CVS. I didn't have that kind of money to have them put on my card and all I get is "I'm sorry?!" They won't take it back. They should be shut down.
Absolutely one of the worst customer service companies in the medical industry -- formally a profession. Offshore people that can't understand English without repeating the question 3 times.
There does not seem to be an easy way to talk directly with a person when calling customer service. A simple key entry would be most helpful when given options on the automated directory.
Why is a reputable insurance company like Cigna using such a disastrous company to process prescriptions? This is BY FAR the WORST service I've ever experienced anywhere. I dread refilling my prescriptions because they are always messed up, delayed, lost in the mail, you name it! I have to call about nearly every prescription and get transferred to nearly a dozen people every time. What was wrong with refilling prescriptions at Walgreens, Cigna? It's so much more convenient and faster than deal with this monstrous disaster! Fix it, Cigna, if you don't want to lose subscribers. Awful, awful, awful!
I've dealt with Express Scripts for years as mandated by employer insurance. Unbelievably inept. These people will give you health issues or make your current ones worse. Recently I had the displeasure of dealing with a customer rep who said they were holding up prescription of insulin while they waited for approval from doctor for home delivery. Since when do doctors approve that. That's what ES does. Deliver RX's by mail or parcel delivery. I asked her where I would go to pick it up. She couldn't comprehend that. I asked her of my RX had expired and they needed a new RX. She said no, they were waiting for response from doctor to approve home delivery. OMG... my blood sugar is going up, my blood pressure is going up. I'm having heart palpitations, I'm seeing flashing bursts of light. Dealing with ES is bad for my health. I got nowhere with this woman. All I could do was laugh and be thankful we weren't discussing this across a counter.
It is such a pain in every way to deal with Express Scripts. Unfortuante we do not have an option!
Every department gets a 1 rating. The specialty pharmacy is worse than awful.
I placed my order with "express" scripts June 9. They shipped it June 17 via DHL. It is June 25 and I have yet to receive my medication. DHL tracking indicates it will be delivered. Nobody at DHL except M-F daytime. Horrible service for someone responsible for delivering medication.
I'm sick - Dr sent a prescription to the local CVS - Express Scripts denied coverage because they require a pre authorization for "certain" medications... The rep has the nerve to say that the Pre authorization could take 7-10 days... The thing is that it happens almost with every prescription... Seems like they make it difficult for the patient to get coverage until the patient forgets he is paying for insurance and pays out of pocket for all the prescriptions. Too bad patients dont have a voice when selecting pharmacy provider.
I was a member of Express Scripts as recently as 2017. Now in 2022 I tried to log back into my account as my physician sent my prescription there. I couldn't log in and when I clicked to get help, I also got no help. A phone number was listed. Before calling the number I tried to make a new account. After filling out all the information it just said again that I had to call. I first called over the weekend and the person who answered said my benefits office would have to call them! What? I work at a large university with thousands of other people -can you imagine if the benefits office had to call for each person? What a ridiculous policy. So I decided to call back during the week to see if I would get a different answer. I have now been on hold for more than 30 min. Why is it that every other company in the world can you help through the combination of a web form and email. But no not express scripts. I've now asked my physician to just go back to Walgreens - which in case you didn't know also now has 90 day scripts. The 90 day and the mailing of the medicine used to be the two things unique to express scripts that made it worth it. Since you can now get both at Walgreens. Don't even bother with Express Scripts. They just leave you on hold and never answer the phone.
The worst coustomer service ever. They are so scripted thay they don't take the time to listen to what the issue is. I have been calling since May to get my nebulizer and, I still have not gotten it. When I called again today and told the operator that I have not recived it and need to fill the perscription, I was told She cannot help me with out a RX number. I never receved it how can I have a RX numbet... My advice go elsewhere othe pharmacy offersthe same service.
Three words "WASTE OF TIME" they hinder the process of receiving your medications in a timely manner with all their waiting around for authorizations from your primary care giver who is overwhelmed with so many other problems he or she cant keep up with with the foolishness of Express Scripts! Stay away from these people they provide you with plenty of headaches and no medication
This must be the worst company ever don't know how they are still in business. They hold you hostage just to get ant kind of medication. No customer service all they care about is the bottom line. Don't give you the discount that the manufactor's offer ETC. They just plan SUCK
Keep calling telling us we have late balance. We call get told we have no balance and call didn't come from them. We stopped using them in october 2021!
If I could give them a minus 100 stars I would! This company is a joke!
Zara proceeded to repeat the same phrase over and over again for the sole purpose of preventing me from speaking. This is after I told her that I did indeed have a valid prescription that my doctor had called in. She insisted that I didn't have a prescription when my account clearly stated that I did. She spoke to me like a wild dog. A vicious and wild dog. This company is a disgrace. You need to fire Zara. No one that speaks like a wild uneducated dog should be talking to customers.
Answer: Easy to get hold of, but a total waste of time, they will just give you their preprogrammed script and not listen to a word you say.
Answer: It's a legit company with the worlds worst service
Answer: No. And since hell would have to freeze over before I ever actually do purchase anything from Express Scripts I want to have a success story.
Answer: I pay a monthly charge which is part of my Medicare Supplement Insurance. The total premium is $439 a month but it also covers other charges Medicare does not. Then for each drug Express Scripts charges a maximum of $20 for 90 pills if generics are used. Non generics depend on the medicine; they can be much more expensive.
Answer: I had no choice, it is the only option through my employer.
