LOUSY SERVICE. DISORGANIZED. CANT GET ANYTHING RIGHT AND WE'RE DEALING WITH SEIZURE MEDICATION! AROUND AND AROUND WITH STUPID AUTOMATED VOICE MESSAGING!
Express Script staff do not seem to understand the importance of insulin, every time I have ordered it over the past year it is always a problem but today when I called I got transferred twice to the wrong people and then placed on hold so long I just hung up. I have been dissatisfied since I have been with them, all of 2022 and into 2023 same. I do not recommend Express Script to anyone or any company looking to do business with them. I pray they read this and handle business
No pharmacy in my zip code. If I want an in person pharmacy I now need to drive 20 minutes as opposed to the 2 minutes it took me to drive on my previous prescription coverage. I knew the pharmacist by name at my small town pharmacy. Not any longer as I am forced to accept mail order or a big box pharmacy. This company is full of corruption.
Do not do business with this shill company. Express Scripts sure charged me $250 for a prescription I never received and tried to blame USPS. Even worse, they refused to issue a refund! It's days before Christmas and I don't have my medicine nor money to buy it elsewhere.
Greetings,
Last week we called in a refill with this firm. Called today and they do not have an estimated time of arrival. This is a life affecting medication and should have been shipped with high priority. They wanted me to contact my doctor but since I went with Express Scripts they will not initiate another Rx. I feel no love here.
My daughter needs a steroid for her EOE and must take medication twice a day. The doctor wrote the prescription properly and Express Scripts refuses to fill it for 90 days, will only send me enough for 45 days. They can not understand that it is written for twice a day, and will not fill it properly. The doctor himself called their "pre-authorization" dept and made it clear, and Express Scripts finally told me it would be "filled properly next time". Guess what? The next time I called they wouldn't do it, said I needed, yep, a prior authorization! They have their heads up their butts, they are the worst prescription company ever, they are incompetent and uneducated.
I take several medications requiring a PA. Some I have taken for decades. Nothing has changed, but my PAs gets denied. Then it becomes an all-out fight to get it approved. Express Scripts tells my doctor's nurse to go to www.covermymeds.com and do the PA there. She does so but it still gets denied. Same medications, same condition(s), but still get denied. Then I have to appeal. Waiting since mid-November on one, with no medication. Fortunately, this particular one that I'm appealing now is not a life sustaining medication. The State of South Carolina and PEBA made a huge mistake subcontracting with Express Scripts, but they were the "low-bid." You get what you pay for!
They are awful to deal with the pharmacy and cs don't communicate. The pharmacy doesn't want to answer my questions and I can't understand anyone in either department I have literally had to go cold turkey on a benzo cause they refused to fill the prescription in time
The state I work for switched to this company and I can't recommend it. EVERY SINGLE thing that you try to get done is a hassle, there is a problem or they deny it. Prior authorizations for things that I've been getting for months at Walgreens. Denials - we need to verify your address - uh... what?
I do not recommend and the management team of this organization needs to be replaced with someone who actually cares about providing service.
MY PCP called in an RX for my thyroid medication. Walgreens alerted me that they would have to order the medication and it would be on that Friday (sent over on Tues Nov 1). I called Friday; they cancelled the order. Reordered it 3 more times all of which they cancelled. After 10 days of not taking my medication because I was completely out I started calling other pharmacies in my area to see if they had it in stock. Another pharmacy did but it couldn't be processed through insurance because Walgreen had processed an insurance claim (and it was paid by Express Scripts) and I wouldn't be eligible for a refill for 3 additional months! Luckily, I called my doctors office they called the RX in again to the pharmacy that had my meds in stock but I had to pay out-of-pocket for the medication due the the fraudulent claim from Walgreens that was processed on November 1.
Hello Express Scripts...insurance fraud is a felony offense! You think they would have taken action but after 4 calls nothing has been done.
Express Scripts is used by my husband's employer. My husband and I prefer to pay for our scripts separately, but in order to do so, we have to pay by check because they won't allow separate payment online. I get notices refills are needed when they aren't, and when orders are refilled, they take twice as long being delivered as they were by our previous service. Efforts to resolve our issues have not been addressed to our satisfaction.
I have had nothing but problems with Express Scripts. They constantly are late with filling prescriptions. They lied and said there were no refills when my provider sent over a years worth. When I tried to cancel out our account they said they need to hear from the employer to deactivate. The foreign representatives are very hard to understand as well. I called at 815 at night and they said "good afternoon"
I have been dealing with them for months. They refuse to update my infants sons name from newborn. Since they won't update his name they refuse to pay for any medications. Multiple attempts from my employer UHC and myself and still no update. They don't even have who I work for correct. I have never worked for the company they say is employing me and the won't fix their error when paperwork is provided! STAY AWAY from using them!
Express Scripts is the most inept business I have ever dealt with. I have been on the phone with them and my doctor's office every day this week to get two prescriptions filled. One was denied unless I bought it through them. ($120 at ES vs $60 at Walgreens with coupon). The second one was mixed up because I take one kind of medicine in two different forms- immediate release and timed release. They refused to fill that prescription. This is medicine I take 3 times a day, and I need it. It is bull$#*!.
We have no choice because the military has chosen to use this POS company. I have to take a medication for the remainder of my life. Despite this, this company chooses to make sure I "need" this medication. I am soooo sick of this problem. Maybe they feel if they make it difficult enough, they can save money by not having to fill the medication and patients will simply "go away". Total BS. The stress they cause patients is not worth the savings the military feels they get by using this POS company!
I have been trying to get a prescription refilled through express scripts, they claim I must have a prior authorization code, but it takes a magical incarnation in order to obtain this code, one that they will not share with my doctor, pharmacy, or myself. It must be top secret. I think this is an underhanded way to escape paying for this person.
I have had a poor experience with this company as they claim I owe money on a medication I never received and they then turned me over to collection on a medication.
We'll never got the medication and not sure what it was called. When I talked to them, number 1 they placed me on hold, then send me to this representative who doesn't know what I was talking about, and then put me on hold once again.
When asked to put long term medications on 3 month refills- beware. I have now been without my long term medication for a week. They say it was not due to be refilled due to an error in March- 7 months ago. There was no mention of this when I was refilling monthly at my local pharmacy. So now I am having withdrawal symptoms and the web site says "processing". No telling when I will get it.
Customer service has no power to help, they are very nice but are useless.
Answer: Easy to get hold of, but a total waste of time, they will just give you their preprogrammed script and not listen to a word you say.
Answer: It's a legit company with the worlds worst service
Answer: No. And since hell would have to freeze over before I ever actually do purchase anything from Express Scripts I want to have a success story.
Answer: I pay a monthly charge which is part of my Medicare Supplement Insurance. The total premium is $439 a month but it also covers other charges Medicare does not. Then for each drug Express Scripts charges a maximum of $20 for 90 pills if generics are used. Non generics depend on the medicine; they can be much more expensive.
Answer: I had no choice, it is the only option through my employer.
