We received the item damaged. After calling them and waiting 20 minutes, we were told that they could get a replacement and schedule a pickup of the damaged item. They said we would be responsible for repacking the damaged item and preparing it for pickup, this is not so easy as it is a very large item and we have no place to store it in the meantime (could be a week or 2 before pickup is scheduled). No idea how long for the new item to arrive, they said the replacement delivery would not be expedited, just sent whenever it's sent. Likely the damage was caused by the shipping, but it should be noted that the packing job was terrible, barely any protective packaging and the box was torn open with the damaged front end as well as the keys fallen out. After all was settled they don't offer any compensation or rebate for the trouble we went through of having to store, repack and schedule the pickup as well as wait for the new replacement. I would definitely recommend considering other companies for future purchases
Ordered a RV a/c. The delivery was longer than quoted. The a/c unit was poorly boxed, handled bad in shipping and damaged when arrived. CS would not refund until returned, said we had to provide packing. We ordered a similar unit from PPL it was on time and on a pallet. BEWARE of anything with unusual size items and their return process!
We've ordered from Etrailer in the past with no issues! This last order of a Replacement RV AC has become the worst experience ever! The beginning went well then it went south fast! We ordered a Black unit that was on backorder, this was fine we would wait till the date they said it would ship, then after our CC company wanted us to approve the purchase Etrailer waited a Day to call us and ask for more information after they were already paid? Ok fine, then we get an email from Etrailer stating they have the White version in stock if we want it they would ship it ASAP! We said yes! 2 days pass and no shipping? We call back and the white one is also out of stock? Finally they ship it and mess up the address by putting our phone number in the name field on the UPS label! (No Name on label anywhere) Making it impossible to pick up nobody's name is a phone number and the UPS store needs to match the ID name to the label! We call again and Etrailer puts the mistake on us? We didn't print the UPS label they did! Now we don't know when we can fix our AC it's hot out we are both disabled my wife is legally blind! Nice job Etrailer! How long till we get our money back so we can pay an RV repair facility double to fix our AC since we can't trust Etrailer to get a product to us while we are on vacation!
Oh, plenty of helpful courteous people to take your order! But once it hits the warehouse, "Good luck!" I originally ordered my mirrors back on the 20th of April and an estimated time of delivery of April 28th with regular ground shipping. Well that was just great, I was leaving out with my travel trailer on April 30th and this would have given me plenty of time. On Friday, April 22nd I checked the shipping status and my mirrors had not moved and no updates, they were still in the warehouse. I then waited till Monday the 25th and checked my shipping status once again, there was a new eta of May 5th! This was not going yo work! I then called customer service back. They were more than helpful canceling my original oder, because it was still in the warehouse and was not going to make it in time. At that time over the phone I reordered my mirrors and paid them extra for two day shipping, $21 and some change and was given a new order number and an eta ship date of April 27th... Which happens to be today! I call once again speaking to eTrailer customer support, because the shipping update said "Lable Created" and that's it. They said it had shipped. I then called UPS and they said they haven't received the mirrors! Where are my mirrors? Will I get them on time? Will this be another Covid excuse for poor service? All questions I can not answer! But I do know one thing! I WILL NOT USE ETRAILER AGAIN! Zero stars!
I have purchased a trailer brake system from etrailer.com. Prior to my purchase, I posted several questions to their website. I received accurate and timely answers to my questions. Once I received the product, I had several other questions about additional items that I needed and if they were compatible with what I had purchased. Again received timely and accurate answers. Will continue to do business with etrailer for all my trailer needs.
Will only accept unpackaged returns, minus return shipping which they determine through UPS, (unless you ask for management in which case they may allow you to choose your own carrier... what a joke). They sell Thule square bar adapters that don't fit Thule square bars even though their experts say "Thule has never changed their square bar shape", and they take zilch responsibility. I'm unimpressed and will being buying elsewhere. Congratulations losing a customer because of your "firm return policy".
I have used them several times. I found knowledgeable help on the phone to order the right things. They do some very good installation videos. I have occasionally found better prices elsewhere and they are not the fastest shipper in the world. I will use them again.
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I ordered a $600 inno roofbox back in December 2021. At the time of the order it says it was in stock and would be delivered in two weeks. Two weeks came and it did not get delivered. It got pushed another week. After a week I was informed that it will take a few months until I get since it is now back ordered. I cancelled the order because I needed the roofbox for a trip and was able to get it somewhere else. April 2022 I got an email stating that it was shipping. I was super surprised since I already cancelled the order. I emailed them that the order was already cancelled. It hasn't shipped yet but in the process of shipping. Adam E told me not worry that I can just get it delivered and we will set up a return. I agreed and trusted what he said. After it was delivered Adam E is telling me that I need to pay $425 dollars to have it returned! $425 dollars to have a $600 roofbox returned on an order that I already CANCELLED?!?!?! What kind of company are they running here?!?! I could have just refused the delivery. Adam E made it seem that if I accepted the delivery it will be an easy return but then slammed me with a $425 return fee for an order I ALREADY CANCELLED. At this point it's not about the money anymore. I hope someone reads this to help them not get scammed by this company.

Ordered Feb 9. Delivered March 7. Only received 1/4 of the parts. After a lot of back and forth they re sent delivery. Just received on March 29 in a falling apart box with the product scraped down the metal and no hardware to put it together. Over a month and a half and I still don't have a ladder rack on my truck. This has not been a good experience to say the least. I can say customer service is very nice and try to help. But seem to have a big disconnect from warehouse to shipping. Hope they fix this soon. I'm feeling like $1000 down the drain

After 6 weeks of this they say they do not have it in stock and say not available for 6 weeks but on website it still says in stock. Waste of time. Would give it no stars if possible.
I ordered replacement keys with the exact number. The keys did not fit the locks. I had to pay for shipping back, and the refund deducted the original shipping cost. DISGUSTING. Never buy from this site. If it doesn't work, they will not make it right.
I ordered 2 quick clamps for my Thule cargo box and after several months waiting they arrived damaged the spring was broken on 1 and unusable. The other had bent tabs and I am not sure it would work. We contacted customer support and after many emails, sent videos and photos they said it was not their problem and they would not take a return or give a refund. Won't be shopping there again
I've been buying from eTrailer for quite a few years without issue. But that all went down the toilet with this past order. I ordered brakes and replacement hubs for all for wheels on my toyhauler. I placed to order on the phone March 7,2022 where I was very clear with muy only questions... "Do you have them in stock and when can I expect them?" The answer was yes they are in stock and you should have them in 4 days. This was great as I had our first season outing planned for the first weekend in April. For about $20 more per set I could also have them in 3 days from Amazon Prime. Since there was plenty of time the extra day wasn't worth the cost so I placed the order.
Well now its March 23rd and i still haven't gotten any of the order. The current story (probably fiction) is they will ship to me sometime in mid April. More than two weeks after I need to have them. These people flat out lied to me about having them in stock. I am through with eTrailer.

I ordered a $317 hitch extension. A week later they told me it was delivered. I contacted them and informed them that it had not been delivered. They told me to check with all of my neighbors and give it a few days, which I did. When I still didn't receive it I contacted my credit card company who disputed the purchase. ETrailer then contacted me and informed me that they would not refund my money. They took no responsibility for the issue. In the meanwhile I ordered another one from Cardid for $100 less and it was delivered promptly. A day later the one from ETrailer shows in a package that my UPS driver said was the worst he has ever seen. I will post pictures on other reviews as soon as I can. He's been doing it for 22 years. So now I'm out $300. Do not buy anything from ETrailer! They are thieves! I am going to share my story with anyone that will listen and hopefully it will cost ETrailer 10 times what it cost me.
