I wish I can make negative review. One of the worst telecom company. Worst customer services and customer policies. Unfortunately there are no competitors so customers have no option to choose. And e& are dealing with customers as they want. Not recommended any sister or parent company of Etisalat or e&.

I rarely take time to write negative reviews, but my experience with Etisalat's neolife 5Gbs internet service demands documentation as a warning to others.
My Experience: A Timeline of Disappointment
Initial Order Phase:
I submitted an order for their neolife 5Gbs home internet service, which was promptly acknowledged. This created the illusion that I was dealing with a responsive, professional company. A technician arranged for ID verification, which was completed without issue. That's where any semblance of customer service ended.
The Disappearing Act:
After verifying my identity, the technician made specific promises: Installation would be completed within 24 hours
He would personally oversee the process
I would receive confirmation calls throughout Reality? Complete radio silence for an entire week. Not a single call, text, or email explaining the delay or providing updates.
The Customer Service Mirage:
When I repeatedly reached out to their customer service department, I encountered a well-rehearsed script of empty promises: "Your issue has been noted"
"Someone will call you back within the hour"
"A technician has been assigned to your case" These statements proved to be nothing more than delaying tactics. Not one callback ever materialized.
The Insulting "Reset":
After a week of being ignored, customer service suggested I submit an entirely new order. I reluctantly agreed, going through the identical process again—ID verification, service selection, the works.
This time, I received a specific appointment: installation between noon and 4PM the following day. The result? Another complete no-show. No calls. No technicians. No explanations.
Final Escalation:
I escalated the matter to higher levels of customer service, only to encounter the same pattern of promised callbacks that never happened. The systemic disregard for customers appears to be company policy rather than isolated incidents.
The Aftermath
This level of persistent negligence speaks volumes about how Etisalat values its customers. As a direct result, I've not only abandoned my pursuit of their neolife service but am canceling all existing Etisalat services, including my long-standing mobile subscription.
Recommendation to Potential Customers
Save yourself weeks of frustration and disappointment. Etisalat's neolife 5Gbs service exists in marketing materials only. In reality, you'll find yourself caught in an endless loop of broken promises and wasted time.
If having functional internet service matters to you, look elsewhere. Any company that can consistently ignore customers after taking their information doesn't deserve your business.
This isn't about a one-time mistake or technical difficulty—it's about a fundamental disregard for customer experience that permeates every interaction with Etisalat. Consider yourself warned.

Money is more important than to provide better customer's experience. Extra bills, very poor mobile data like 1 bar, if you didn't pay in just 1 month they will cut your line. Bad experience very worse. Cheap! You cant able to stop your post paid anytime you want, like you dont have any options and draw your money for bad servise!

Very poor and UAE most expensive service provider for internet 🛜 home. I highly recommend to subscribe du. They care about their customers. After rebrand etisalat automated all services and the forget to care about their customers. They do not provide full service and if you ever try to claim as per your bill. They will charge you for everything. Do not ever think to subscribe Etisalat's. Do not enter in contract with them.

Connectivity sad.

I have never seen is such a growing city connectivity is sad.left home internet. Now most of the time I get notifications. Calls just don't go thru. I stay in Aldubaiba building Mankhool. U claim to be best. I m sure if I say worst also is less. Staff having attitude so left home internet. God only knows where are you heading

Improvement

Before few years there were no much options for data and Call locals or international.
But nowadays there are many deals for all services.
Some suggestions to make more improvements for making Etisalat as the best service provider as are below 👇
1)Please ask or take a survey with the customers because they are the end user for your service.
2) the create plan in the Etisalat app is high cost compared to other services.
3) my suggestion is to provide convenient plan for all people so that they can continue the service regularly; please provide data plan like - 50gb a month with a fair price of 50 aed. It will boost and your sales may increase unbelievably.
Current there are plans of 150gb 200 gb or 300 gb but cost also is high.
Provide some plans which are pocket friendly.

We have been completely cheated by Etisalat. One of their miss-selling door to door salesmen came to our office one day and practically begged us to switch from Du to Etisalat. We were promised a smooth transition and a much better price. After several visits, we agreed to swicth. That was the last time we heard from the cowboy agent. The on-boarding experience has been horrific. We were promised that Etisalat would take care of closing our Du account and moving everything over. This was not done correctly by Etisalat and so Du ended up blocking Etisalat from providing our internet. Whilst we were trying to understand and rectify the situation with Du (also equally as useless with customer service), Etisalat decided to cancel our account with zero communication to us which is irreversible and one of many non-logical processes they have in place. Whenever we try to speak to someone to say that we did not want to cancel and we wanted the service, we were told that it's too late and we need to pay an early exit fee of 3,500 AED and another 2k AED for the months our account was active and but we were never able to use.
No one from customer service has been interested in helping and in fact we have been bombarded with numerous aggressive and threatening emails and calls suggesting legal action.
There seems to be no one with authority who can use logic to make a decision on our case. We have been completely cheated and robbed by Etisalat and there is nothing they are willing to do to help. Appalling customer service and experience.
We have been forced to pay now and there is nothing we can do about it. I would never recommend this provider to anyone and I will NEVER use them myself again!

Elife sucks simply, we pay 625 AED a month to get the sport package, when it's time for the championship, they ask us to pay extra 200 AED a month for a full year on a contract non brakeable

But sorry we have already paid 625 AED a month for a year?
In US internet is 64$ for higher speed, in Etisalat they impose Elife for almost 180$ a month for this junk.

Now lets go to the quality of service:
I see many webpages in common, redirecting to India! How I love that (place)!
FB defaults to India, Yahoo as well, LinkedIn now and then
This is called junk routing, and their network engineers are jack@$$es

Go ahead with the webpages for example in US / Canada, the city of Sacramento or Toronto or Boston, we login to pay our US property tax, it keeps routing infinitely until timeout, why? Because their network engineers are jack@$$es
We go to the 1099 1095C, our benefits webpage keeps spinning and times out, look the reason up above
We go to our US bank, I need to login, I get a screen routing
The funny thing is those webpages work from a hotel or starbucks or a local bar!
I call 101 Tech support:
I use English on 101, I get a stupid Indian saying I don't know sir, we cannot help you sir, check with the city of Boston sir - they blocked access from UAE sir.

But when I login from a hotel or starbucks it works?

I don't know sir - maybe your computer blocked it, or Boston is against the government's regulations?!

I use Arabic 101, I get an Egyptian who--re telling me that these are (regulations of the government to block transaction in non AED, this is the requirement for the safety of UAE citizens from fraudulent transactions!), those Egyptians are bare face liars.

But if I log in from Starbucks Etisalat I access my accounts on all of that? When I vpn it works?

She tells that you are not supposed to VPN... lol she thinks that she is a legal consultant!

I don't remember calling their tech support without spitting on the phone on their assistance on the call, it has been 4 years so far.

Worse company ever,they are just SCAMMERS,dont use them at all
Very poor customer service.we changed the sim card from visitor card to permanent card and automatically they took the internet credit without mentioning this to us.When we complaint they ask us to complain against the staff member but no help from etisalat side

I'm Using E life 12Mbps plan for 2 weeks.
My experience is they are actually misleading customers. In the ad they are saying it's 12Mbps plan unlimited,land line to land line call is free. But actually I'm getting 8-9 Mbps download speed and uploading speed only 3Mbps. I contacted customer care executive,Then they told me the downloading speed only 12Mbps, uploading speed will be 3Mbps.
But what I'm thinking is Etisalat cheating customers. They suppose to display about the all speed information and limits in the front. I mean front in the add. It's disappointing from a most leading company.

Please replace all your current ads and display proper information in the front (downloading/uploaded and limits).

Review: If you are AAA gamer, Online multiplayer gamer, this network Just okay for you. This 12 MB plan is not good for streaming and uploading your videos.
Take a another plan" Ask customer care about the downloading and uploading speed before take".

I tried upload 13GB game play Video on the YouTube. It took 11 Hrs..

How is it possible that Etisalat still does not solve the problem of internet at home and TV questions for more than three years, and it just passes the time so that the customer is forced to pay without receiving the proper service, and without checking, it makes the customer tired and does not care about Etisalat and problems. The Internet and the televsion system have become televised and here Etisalat is profiting and not responding. This process has been going on for more than three years and even though I filed a complaint and said that this time I will only talk to the manager, he did not take responsibility at all...

Lack of time management, lack of planning, lack of responsibility, and failure to solve the customer's problem is normal for Etisalat. The only goal is to get money every month and not respond and play with the customer. I was with them for two years and I never had these problems. They just talk and then the technician is either not trained or doesn't come at the specified time.

I recently had the misfortune of switching to Itisalat after being a loyal customer of DU for many years. We were advised to make the switch when we moved to our new villa because Itisalat supposedly offered better coverage in the area. Little did we know that this decision would lead us down a path of frustration, deception, and feeling completely scammed by the company.

At the beginning, Itisalat promised to provide us with a reliable internet connection and entertainment services for our home. However, it quickly became apparent that they had misled us. Just a month later, they had to come back and inform us that there was an issue with the installation. To make up for their mistake, they offered us a month of free service and assured us that the problem would be fixed promptly. We reluctantly agreed, as they convinced us that signing a two-year contract was the best option.

Furthermore, we were told that we could have two security cameras installed, one at the front and one at the back of our house. However, the technician they sent arrived at an unreasonable time (8:30 pm) and insisted that my wife open the door. Understandably concerned for her safety, she refused and called the security. This incident caused further delays in the camera installation process. Eventually, after multiple complaints, they sent a female technician to complete the job.

Despite all these setbacks, Itisalat had the audacity to present us with an exorbitant bill. We expressed our dissatisfaction with the camera installation, only to be told that we had signed a three-year contract. This was news to us, as we were never informed of such a commitment. After futile attempts to reach their customer service to explain the misunderstanding, I took matters into my own hands and visited the Dubai Mall branch.

After going through a series of frustrating conversations with various representatives, including Salam Mohammed from customer technical support, Esraa Salem from the call center, and Jihad Zyad, the supervisor, on June 5,2023, I was promised a resolution within five days. However, no one followed up, and after two weeks, I received a message stating that they had attempted to contact me and closed my case. This entire ordeal feels like nothing short of a scam orchestrated by Itisalat.

At this point, I am left with no other choice but to seek out the CEO of Itisalat to understand what is happening within his company. I have tried reaching out to various people for help, but my pleas have fallen on deaf ears. It is truly disheartening that I am resorting to writing this review in the hopes that someone from Itisalat will finally take notice and address our concerns.

If you are considering joining Itisalat, I strongly advise you to think twice. Based on my experience, they are a company that engages in fraudulent practices, provides misleading information, and fails to deliver on their promises. I sincerely hope that by sharing my terrible experience, someone within Itisalat will take responsibility and reach out to rectify the situation.

2 years ago, we got this etisalat plan Elife 250Mbps, for which we were asked to pay 409 dhs per month and then i have no idea for what they are adding extra amount in our bill, making us to pay 445 dhs per month and now after completing the commitment of 2 years i got 465 dhs bill. Its a scam company which has completely useless wifi, does not support into the other rooms in the apartment, just works in the hall, and landline was given as compulsory but was said to be used as free. Honestly, i am completely disappointed with the service. Today itself i contacted customer care for disconnection.

Back 2020, Had post paid acct with etisalat, I've been paying without delay. First encounter was they billed me
More than my monthly limit and when I complained they waived it off. It happened again around 3x. Because I WAS a loyal customer, I took another higher post paid. I was also informed that I don't have a roaming subscription. When I went to my home country I didn't use my sim to avoid ANY CHARGES for a safer side. While going back to UAE, Ofcourse I have to put back the etisalat sim while in airport. I was surprise that I got an internet right away and got a message of Etisalat BILL which I was confused. As soon as I reach UAE, I complained and they told me it was the roaming charges. I told them to check the acitivity of my sim number as they will see there's no activity NOR calls happened as I was out of the country. They didn't listen. I also challenged them to listen to their call recorders when their agents told me that I don't have roaming subscriptions hence roaming charges SHOULD HAVE NOT APPLIED. They didnt remove the charges. They disconnected both of my sims and they continue to CHARGE me. I never had issue with anything in my entire life with regards to any credits and I am very disappointed with my experience to them as a loyal customer. A lot of hidden charges and not helpful. Sad to say they are losing a lot of loyal customers and reading other reviews seems that people are still experiencing the same issues.

I recently bought Etisalat Home wireless connection(4g), and the rental of this plan is 199 in the offer(after 12 months It will be 299). I set up the device and I was trying to use the internet but it was not working I called customer care and came to know that if we move this device(even a single inch) then It will stop working. Customer executive was trying to help me but in the end, the internet did not work. I wasted 2 hours in the troubleshooting. I canceled the contract on the same day I received it.
This connection is good for those people who don't have any dependency on the Internet or who work without the Internet. It is not good for the Work from home.

The terrible experience with their wireless internet service and we following it for almost 2 weeks,,,the customer care team is just busy with re registering the complaint and escalating the complaint without any action. We want to port to du service but in that case they are demanding 2000 will be charged as exist charge.really trapped be careful to opt this service
