For a company that deals with so much money and incredibly important transactions, Escrow are simply shocking. I work as a freelancer for a living and used Escrow when a client couldn't get access to the regular services. They were okay at first (if incredibly expensive) but then they messed up.
I couldn't get access to the transaction to mark it as complete. This went on for several weeks with no effort to fix it, they even lied to me and said they had marked it for me! A comment which they later rescinded. When I got in touch with the customer "support" they said they would look into it. A week later and nothing happened, except that I was severely short on my rent because a job I had completed 6 weeks ago, was still sitting stagnant.
I used them as a last resort, but I wouldn't even recommend them for that. Working with Escrow is tantamount to robbery and a kick in the teeth.
Fine transaction. However I was told the transaction was done, but my domain never showed up at godaddy. Had to contact them and find out why.
Also I could not use my normal domain provider, and had to use godaddy. Now the domain is locked for 60days which they did not tell me. That is a serious issue now.
This is the first time I use an Escrow Company to complete a transaction. Thanks to the help of Marcedric De Arman he consulted and guided me through the entire process. He maintained email communication with me keeping me apprised of the transaction progress through completion. Very professional.
I have been in business for over forty years and using escrow.com has made the sale of a domain name that I owned the easiest business transaction that I have ever had.

I appreciated the human touch in having a rep sending an email. The one star deduction is in regards to the UI, some of the hyperlinks jumped back to the homepage instead of desired destination. The dash could make it clearer as to what stage the process we are in.
I recently sold my domain name through escrow.com I thought they are a reputable company, a honest company. I sold my domain to a buyer, everything went smoothly at first, and then 12hrs later, I get this email from escrow.com saying they are recalling the funds they disbursed because the seller isn't satisfied. The seller had a inspection period and he was happy that is why he closed the transaction. Escrow now recalled the money and I lost my domain in the processes. Do not do business with this fraud of a company.
They said I was correct about them not being an escrow agent for me. No forearm escrow service is available. They are just handling the money, not the firearms, which are being handled legally per ATF guidelines.
If they won't be my Escrow agent, then they are still useless to me.
Finally received most of my money. They failed to return $50.00 and claimed my bank charged a fee. My bank clearly showed me that they transferred $50.00 less funds. Not happy with their service and grow so frustrated that i gave up and lost $50.00 on my canceled deal on top of their admin fee.
Tried to use escrow.com to complete deal on swap a lease. Deal change and tried to get my money back from escrow.com. What a game? Four weeks later and same story from them wait and check with my bank. Funny how my money was transferred to escrow in under 24 hours to them and I am waiting more then 24 days to get it back. Dont think they are ethical. Stay away!
Was told by them that i would get payment sent and with no charge. My total sale was $1000. 00. I got a check for $950.00. So i was charged 50.00 for a overnight check that was to be paid by them.
The sale was between seller and buyer, buyer to pay all fees related to the sale. ALL period.
SELLER BEWARE OF ESCROW FEES.
Overall the process was very good. There are live people you can talk to with questions that guided me through the process. The website's form would only work through google chrome which took extra time but that was the only hicup.
I agreed to purchase a domain name with a seller who lived in Pakistan. Seller wanted to go through Escrow and started a transaction through Escrow.com. He had a verified account with Escrow.com. I got an email from Escrow.com and I registered and verified my identity. I got an email asking me to submit the funds required for the purchase. I made the payment. This took about 2 to 3 days.
Later Escrow.com informed the seller that they can not send payment to a bank in Pakistan. WTF! So you have to have an account in another country to receive payment. Seller requested to cancel the transaction.
Now I (buyer) am waiting to get the refund and it has been over 5 days and still waiting to get refund.
I would stay away from Escrow.com
I am a boring with our work. We write this articles for minerxstore.com and this online pharmacy today's write the article for only one product. So any one help me for got a freelancer job with same profession.
I waited literally less than a minute to reach a customer service representative. Worked through the issue in no time. The customer service rep even waited on the phone while I was struggling to upload my banking details. Overall, a very positive experience!
Since the first day I talked to you (Casey) I think it was Monday, its gone very well. There was a time that there was miscommunication on how this works and the Buyer was clear he wanted to use an escrow service for this sale.
GREAT service. I was in a hurry and unsure of the steps with Escrow.com and Ron stayed with me helping me all the way. Sense of humor, patient, couldn't ask for a better customer service rep. Excellent.
Thanks for leaving a review Alicia. You’re right, Ron is always going above and beyond. We're happy that you had a great experience at Escrow.com. We’ll be sure to share your praises with them!
Overall the service is very helpful but there were several parts that I felt were confusing:
* at the point where I (the buyer) was to enter my registrar info, I could not do it on your site, instead I was supposed to email the information to concierge. There should be a very clear button on the transaction where I can enter this info
* The transaction was marker "complete" before it actually was totally completed. This concerned me as I had not yet received the domain name that I had purchased
* the chat help could not tell me where I was supposed to enter my registrar info - even after I sent them the page URL they asked me for screenshots. They seemed unfamiliar with the process.
* when I called customer service about the status of my transaction I was told that the people who could help me were in a meeting. This did not give me a great deal of confidence in the escrow team
I was going to purchase a 2013 Toyota Yaris. After following the link on autotrader, I put in an offer of $3200 Canadian funds. I was unsure about escrow and decided to call your support team. I spoke to Terri, and forwarded her the email that I supposedly received by " escrow". Terri advised me that it was a fraudulent email as the international phone number, and hours of operations were wrong. Therefore she advised me that this was a scam. I am so disgusted with people trying to scam people like me, who work hard for my money and wanted to gift my child with a car. People like Amelia( seller) is what is wrong with this world.
THANK YOU AGAIN TERRI!
We currently own a domain at Network Solutions and were trying to transfer a new domain to it but we kept getting the run around by Network Solutions. We were told by escrow.com that the domain we had purchased was sitting in a GoDaddy account and suggested that we open a new GoDaddy account to transfer the new domain. I created the GoDaddy account, called escrow.com and spoke with Mariana, and she helped me transfer our new domain to GoDaddy quickly. I couldn't believe how easy it was. We gave Network Solutions over a month to try to transfer this domain and it took them 3 failed attempts before we finally decided to go with escrow.com's advice and use GoDaddy instead. Thank you escrow.com for your efforts. Everything was very quick and easy once we figured out Network Solutions was the problem. Thanks Mariana!
I hate when a Grifter company lies to you, all the upfront hype promoted by Ebay. This is what they did to me I sold a trk. And seen this Escrow.com Hyped by Ebay I set the acct up put in my disbursement method then the buyer says they need more info I go in and my pymt. Is not checked. Then I get this msg we are reviewing the money, So I know what's going on they run this money not theirs around the world and make money on it not mine, then they charge a percentage on top of it Nice! Wire transfer Zelle anybody but these Idiots oh I guess I'm the Idiot for listening to ebay they have BBB recommendation; I filed a complaint. I'm going to my atty General too!
I recommend Escrow if it's a collective payment, Though if there are multiple mielstones it can take quite a bit of time each and you must pay disbursment fee on each milestone. I would love to see if escrow can allow disbursement of multiple milestones at once.
Answer: Hi David, we've processed just over $3 billion in transactions to date, with transactions from $100 all the way up to over $10,000,000. In addition to our regular licensing requirements, I hope you'll take a moment to look at the customer testimonials on www.escrow.com
Answer: Hi Janine! Thanks for reaching out! As the largest online licensed and audited escrow operator, Escrow.com is your best choice for domain transfer transactions. Escrow.com safely holds or secures the Buyer's payment in a trust account until the entire transaction is complete. That way, Buyers can be confident that the domain will be registered in their name and Sellers can be sure they'll be paid. We also have the concierge service for domain transfers without content where the Seller needs not to wait for the Buyer to confirm receipt and full control of the domain as Escrow.com will essentially take care of that inspection in your behalf. The Seller will only need to transfer the domain to one of our secured registrar accounts and we can release the funds to them. On the Buyer's side, they don't need the inspect period to verify the domain because we will do that for them. Our concierge team will work directly with the Seller to transfer the domain to us so there's no need for the Buyer to stress with follow-ups about the domain transfer. As soon as we secure the payment, the Buyer only needs to advise us where they want the domain to be transferred to and we will take care of the rest. Our dedicated concierge specialists will assist you every step of the way. Feel free to leave your contact details and best time to call as we are happy to discuss with you further should you have other questions. Thanks!
Answer: Hi Milly, I'm not sure I'm understanding your question exactly but Escrow.com only displays bank information on our site and never via email. Check to make sure any emails you are receiving came from@escrow.com.
Answer: Hi Doug, start by making an offer to the seller through the AutoTrader.ca's Secure Payment platform. Once the offer is accepted you can pay into the escrow account and then go to inspect the car. If everything is as expected you can release funds to the seller right there on the spot. Two quick tips: Always make sure emails about your transaction are coming from an@escrow.com email address, and make sure you log into Escrow.com to make sure you're sending funds to the correct account. Hope this helps!
Hi Bill,
Escrow.com covers transactions for many different types of goods and services, however as we are not an FFL dealer ourselves we are unable to participate in transactions for firearms.
