How Equipmentfacts Works
Auction listings appear on the Equipmentfacts.com website with photos, specifications, descriptions, and videos. The searchable, user-friendly site lets potential bidders contact sellers via phone, email, video chat, and popular apps such as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Equipmentfacts staff will handle many of the most time-consuming aspects of bidder management on auction day, including uploading the sales day catalog, managing bidder registrations and approvals, submitting online bids to the auctioneer, and answering bidder questions. Bidders anywhere in the world can simply log on and bid directly from their computers.
Your Trusted Equipment Auction Solution
Equipmentfacts is a product of Sandhills Global, a worldwide information processing company headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. Established in 1978, Sandhills is well-known for its online platforms serving the construction, agriculture, commercial trucking, and aviation markets.
The company generally enjoys a positive reputation for its user-friendly online auction platform and efficient customer service, with many customers expressing satisfaction with their bidding experiences and prompt assistance when issues arise. Customers also noted issues with communication and billing accuracy, particularly regarding buyer premiums. Overall, while the company demonstrates strengths in customer support and auction execution, addressing these recurring concerns could enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Easy to use. Got signed up and approved in 10 minutes.I tried proxibid also but it stalled like it did the last time I tried.
The truck I purchased was advertised as "toolbox included" there were no pictures of the toolbox so it was assumed to be loose in the bed or a flush style toolbox and not visible in the pictures. Truck was purchased sight unseen and shipped from Texas to Iowa. Upon arrival there was no toolbox. It's very important in my opinion that listings are accurate for this very reason. I plan to follow up on this and see if the auction company or seller will work to offer any compensation. I'll hope for the best, but have my doubts.
Great experience, communication was excellent along with the ease of the online biding process
Thanks for bidding with us Andy, and leaving a 5 star rating!
It was easy. The only question I had after I bid is that I was unsure if I really got the bid. Maybe I missed something or did not see a message as "bid won".
Thanks for bidding with us Ken! You see a message pop up saying you won the item, then you will recive a winning bidder email as well. If you do not see the email be sure to check your spam/junk folder on your email.
The online live auction was perfect. Easy to bid on all items. The lock/unlock bidding button let's me watch auctions till I'm ready to bid!
Great to hear, Michael! Thanks for using Equipmentfacts!
Good site, I liked being able to see what was coming up and good audio and video.
Awesome Scott, thanks for using Equipmentfacts!
My first time bidding in an on-line equipment auction. Registering with Equipmentfacts was easy and straight forward. I was alerted via text messages when the auction was to begin and just before each item that I was watching was to be auctioned off. The bidding experience was great.
Thanks for bidding with us Daniel, and leaving a 5 star rating!
I had covid the day of the auction so I did not attend in person. I was running my sprayer that day and used my phone hotspot to listen to the auction while spraying. Had some internet issues due to lack of reception at times. I bid a couple different times on items but the item was sold before my bid was accepted. I was able to purchase one item I was really interested in so I am definitely happy with the service. I also realize they had a large sale and had to keep things moving. I do not fault the auctioneer at all as I should have bid sooner. However, the first bid on everything is $100. That is fine on large or expensive items but some of the items sold online were not $100 items. I had to wait until onsite bidding was in progress for the online bid option to drop below 100. This was the reason I missed bidding on a couple items.
Thank you for taking the time to bid us! Sorry to hear you had covid, but one of our reps will reach out to help answer your questions on leaving a prebid on an item.
Everything worked out just fine with the deal. I dont have anything else to say
Thanks for bidding!
All was good except for this email coming at 5 am waking me up.
Sorry the email woke you up John, but thank you for bidding with EquipmentFacts and leaving a 5 star review!
I bid on a tractor and got the bid. The site worked very well. A few more pictures would have been nice. Easy to navigate and bid on the site.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a 5 star rating and leaving a commment! We are happy to hear you found the website and bidding easy to navigate!
Easy to bid, still need to get everything complete (because of the holiday)
Thank you for taking the time to bid with us Perry!
I was perusing the items up for bid during the live auction. I was looking at several different, specific items. In the end there was nothing I felt I actually needed to purchase so I left the site. Imagine my surprise, when on Tuesday after the Saturday auction, the auction house contacted me and asked, "Hey, when do you plan on paying for and picking up your auction item?" I had no clue what they were talking about! As it turns out, the website indicated that I had the highest bid on an "Unknown Building Kit" for just over $8000! What?!? How does THAT happen? I know I never entered a $$ amount on ANY item, let alone an "Unknown Building Kit". Just exactly how does one inadvertently bid on an item? Would that not require intentional and multiple clicks on the page? None of which I made. I spoke to the guy at the auction house and he indicated that this was the first time he'd used this online auction service and HE couldn't even explain to me how it may have happened. Although, he DID fully anticipate and require me to pay for said "Unknown Building Kit". As I am sure you can understand, I am very frustrated with this! I would appreciate it if you could please contact me so that we can both get a better understanding as to how this blunder was able to occur on your website.
All good, went smoothly from start to finish, had good luck several times using this
Thank you for bidding with us and leaving a 5 star rating!
Went pretty well. Love the available way to bid when unable to be there in person
Hey guys i thought i was the buyer/ the seller gets all the costs associated with selling his equipment.
The sales tax only If from Iowa or delivering in Iowa, internet / fee on seller not buyer / premium i i guess i get a warranty with my 90 tractor? Yea right.
This sucks at best
Thanks for bidding with us Ronnie! Glad to hear you found bidding and using our website easy to do.
