Equipmentfacts is an American company that gives auctioneers a simple, cost-effective platform for simulcasting live, on-site equipment auctions to an international audience of bidders. Backed by Machinery Trader, TractorHouse, Truck Paper, and other leading marketplaces, the Equipmentfacts online auction solution offers an industry-specific bidding system that reaches customers actively seeking to bid online for new and used heavy machinery, agricultural equipment, trucks, trailers, attachments, and similar assets.
How Equipmentfacts Works
Auction listings appear on the Equipmentfacts.com website with photos, specifications, descriptions, and videos. The searchable, user-friendly site lets potential bidders contact sellers via phone, email, video chat, and popular apps such as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Equipmentfacts staff will handle many of the most time-consuming aspects of bidder management on auction day, including uploading the sales day catalog, managing bidder registrations and approvals, submitting online bids to the auctioneer, and answering bidder questions. Bidders anywhere in the world can simply log on and bid directly from their computers.
Your Trusted Equipment Auction Solution
Equipmentfacts is a product of Sandhills Global, a worldwide information processing company headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. Established in 1978, Sandhills is well-known for its online platforms serving the construction, agriculture, commercial trucking, and aviation markets.
The company generally enjoys a positive reputation for its user-friendly online auction platform and efficient customer service, with many customers expressing satisfaction with their bidding experiences and prompt assistance when issues arise. However, several concerns have emerged, including frustrations with bid discrepancies, lack of acknowledgment for pre-bids, and occasional technical difficulties that hinder the bidding process. Customers also noted issues with communication and billing accuracy, particularly regarding buyer premiums. Overall, while the company demonstrates strengths in customer support and auction execution, addressing these recurring concerns could enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Price I paid is not what my bid was sale closed saying pending at one price next day I called and was told seller agreed to sell but the price was not what I bid when I asked to see bid history on this truck it took over 2 hours and was on a workers phone asked if she would forward it to me she said yes but never got it and anyone with a computer can make anything I'm okay with the price just not okay being told i bid more than I really did lot # 407 don't trust this place anymore if the 1500. Was seller bottom dollar that would have been ok. Not asking for you to do anything just letting you know
Very pleased with it. It was very user friendly being online.
Thanks for the feedback, Josh!
I bid on a Truck, won the big. The Auctioneer said SOLD! But I was contacted by someone who said that I had to pay more than what I bid. I thought once the Auctioneer says SOLD, it's over. I will NEVER deal with your company again. I feel like I should contact my Lawyer. VERY DISAPPOINTED, in the way I was treated. Take me off your Email List, I don't want to be Bothered by your incompetent People. Mark Weppler
Unfortunately I wasn't able to make the auction in person, so i bid online. I REALLY like the fact that yall send me a text letting me know that an item is coming up. It gave me plenty of time to log in and be able to bid in time.
We appreciate your feedback!
It went smoothly and I got a great jeep! We got there and got loaded real fast!
We appreciate your feedback!
Great interface to multiple auctions local and nationwide.
We appreciate your feedback!
In the auction information it said that the truck started and run this Ford E350 van, they did not give the correct information. This van starts but doesn't go into second gear. They should review the products and give correct information to the customer to be able to pay a fair price for what they are buying.
It was fine after I figured out how it worked. Error was my fault
Thank you for the feedback!
I had bid on several items and bought one item, when the item I really entered the auction to buy the auction service stoped me from biding. I got to watch it sell at a price which I would have bid. The auction service called me about 10 minutes later to verify it was me biding. So no not pleased at all with the experience. I also had to log out and back in a couple of times to keep the sound going.
I had entered pre-bids on several lots. For some unexplained reason as soon as the first lot was up my account was suspended. As a result I lost all bids I had in place and all the lots were sold for significantly less than my max. It was extremely frustrating! I wasted hours online following the auction even tho the sound quality was terrible and you couldn't understand 90% of what was said. Now I have to drive several hours to pick up one small lot which was the least one I wanted. No explanation was ever given why my account was suspended. I called the number given and waited on hold but never got through. This was my first experience with Equipmentfacts and Bond and Bond auctioneers and it will most likely be the last.
Good experience overall. Appreciate the text reminders when items are up for or about to be up for bid.
Thanks for the feedback!
Froze during the item I wanted. Horrible experience. The worse online auction experience ever
Great company, very easy to navigate the website, would recommend using them in buying experience
Thanks for the feedback!
Won the auction but marked pending, shouldn't be allowed, because when that happens you are still liable until they call you with a counteroffer, then you miss other opportunities,
Start with a base price if you don't let it go for less.

Thank you for the feedback!
I placed a bid online while bidding and it said I won. When I questioned the ladies they had said bidder number one won. On my way home I was checking my emails and I got charged for the item I questioned. I messaged and emailed them questioning it and no response.
Other than that situation everything else went very well. Great group of people and they get things done quickly.

According to bid history you did win the cadillac bar decanter. Please reach out to the seller with any questions.

Hard to watch 2 rings on cellphone. I'm not up to speed on things like this. Did get what I bid on
Thank you for the feedback Mark.
Equipment Facts gets 4.5 stars. The auction company Barton out of Cleveland gets one star. Wouldn't take my credit card for a $3600 purchase. Their max is $2500 but that isn't listed anywhere. I had to wire funds and pay them a $35 wire fee for them to accept it. When I talked with them, they blamed it on Equipment Facts. I've been using Equipment Facts for years and haven't had any major problems. The problems usually are with the individual auction company. But being in the business for 35 years, you learn to accept all the crap that does happen and just blow it off. I'll continue to use Equipment Facts and probably still bid on items at Barton auctions.
Always feel free to reach out to sellers to inquire about payment terms before the auction.
I have a enjoyable experience bidding with equipment fax however they do need to up their game on the audio feed when an auction is going, kinda hard to decipher auctioneer who sounds like he is underwater! Buyer Beware... I recently purchased an item from Leap auctions, thru Equipment Fax. The lot did not disclose hrs, mileage, ( which both display on the dash) no mention that the serial number had been removed from the equipment or weather or not it had a title. Is the equipt. I bought stolen?
Thanks for the feedback Gene, we will let them know.
Great service overall, I excited to buy many more wonderful items
Thanks for the feedback, Sharifa!
When changing over to the second ring the audio from the first ring was still playing.
I bid on a second item and said I was the highest bidder then it changed to sold and I called the auctioneer and they said I was not the winning bid. There should be something that states who the highest bidder is and a list of paddles that have bid on an item.
Not a real good experience! Both on my phone and on the computer seemed buggy. The people at the auction house were great though. Very friendly and helpful.
Thanks for the feedback Richard!
